Chapter 28. Billy the Hero!!

Kirana's POV

Baron handed me to the sorcerer who tied me up, along with the others.

I just stood there and watched everything happen, I couldn't utter a word nor fight back, I was traumatized by my father's death.

Baron picked up the scrool and smiled evily "finally, I have it in my possession, time to be a god"

Just then we heard the sound of a gunshot, and they scrool fell off Baron's hand. it was Billy.

"Great, look who decided to join the party, the weakling" Baron cackled.

"let my friends go or the next shot is going through your chest" he threatened.

"You sound courageous, I like that" Baron smiled. he pulled an arrow immediately and shot it towards Billy but Billy dogded it to my surprise.

"impressive, I never miss my shot, but for the first time someone escaped my arrow, a human at that, now I am really going to enjoy killing you"

Billy rushed towards him but he quickly released four more arrows, Billy got hold of two but the other two pierced into his shoulder. baron grabbed him immediately and flung him to the glass wall, the glass shattered and Billy fell off. that was it, another person close to my heart has been taken away from me, I have lost Billy and it was all my fault, my worst nightmare had come true

Tears rolled down my eyes, there is no way Billy could survive that fall, we were on the second floor.

"Now that I have taken care of that insect, where was I?" baron mocked and picked up the scroll

He was about to open it when suddenly a monster flew in through the glass shattering the glass completely

It had large black wings, sharp long nails and Wolf fangs, its eyes were as red as blood. I looked closely at its face and that's when I recognised him, it was Billy, what has happened to him?

"great, I knew you are not just an ordinary human, I could sniff magic from a distance" Baron said

The monster Billy didn't reply, he probably wasn't in the mood to chat, he just growled and hit Baron with the flap of his huge wings. Baron fell down and got up immediately, they engaged in a battle, tumbling and hitting each other, it seems like Billy was getting the upper hand so the sorcerer ran to help Baron

Naomi used the opportunity to bring out her wand from her pocket, she reversed the spell the sorcerer used on us and the chains disappeared.

At this point, the sorcerer uttered a spell and split himself in three, one faced Reenie, the second attacked Naomi while the last one came after me

Everyone was busy fighting except for me, I just watched the sorcerer toss me from one corner of the building to the other, he grabbed me by the hair and flinged me to the ceiling. The moment I fell heavily on the floor, my dad's words came sounding back in my head

"one day when I'm gone Kira, you will take over the throne, and rule this great kingdom, you must be strong as steel, do not let emotions tie you down, you must rule with an iron fist and don't take pity on the rebels, even at the last minute, never lose hope!"

That moment, I remembered who the hell I was. I am Kirana Mckzene, daughter to the most powerful wizard that has ever lived and no one dares to mess with me.

"Fight Kira, fight!" my inner woman yelled.

Just then, the red eyes came up and I went into hyper mode. I felt my feet leave the floor as I slowly ascended to the air. everyone stopped fighting and watched me, it was probably a surprise to them.

Without thinking twice, I threw fireballs at the sorcerer who had attacked me, it seemed to affect the three of them as they all fell down simultaneously, two of the decoys disappeared leaving the main sorcerer on the floor.

Reenie and Naomi gave him a good beating while I helped monster Billy take down Baron. we capture them and Naomi use her wand to tie them up as the sorcerer had done to us earlier.

Reenie got hold of the sorcerer's staff and broke it.

"you are not so powerful without your staff now, are you?" Reenie muttered

I went to Billy and held his cheeks, his sideburns has grown larger and darker.

"What happened to you?" I asked softly

"I don't know, but I'm sure you do" he smiled. even as a monster he was damn cute

"Me? how?" I queried

"Well, I started experiencing changes since the day you kissed me" he said

"which day? we have kissed so many times" I laughed.

" Right, we kissed so many times, but you have kissed me only but once" he replied with a smile

"I don't understand "I said. I was really puzzled.

"He is talking about the day Reenie died" Naomi chirped in.

Just then, the memories flashed back, I was in the hyper mode when I kissed him, I must have transmitted some powers that mutated him into this.

"You are right, I'm sorry I turned you into a beast" I apologized

"Don't be silly, I'm glad you did" he chuckled.

"Okay, you two can play Love later, right now, what do we do with this two" Reenie asked.

"Westham prison, where they belong" a voice suddenly uttered.

We looked back and I couldn't believe who it was . "Mum! Dad! King Trevor!" I was shocked to see them but Baron seem to be even more shocked

"You... you are supposed to be dead" he said

"I know, but my family won't let me go" Dad replied

I rushed to him and hugged him immediately. I didn't care if he was still evil or good I just wanted to hold him tight so he never leaves me again.

"I've missed you Dad" I said

"I've missed you too my princess, you've grown so big" he replied and I giggled.

"so you didn't miss me" mom frowned.

"of course I did miss you" I said and hugged her

"okay girls, I do recognise this captives, but who is this fellow" King Trevor asked pointing to Billy and we laughed .

"Thanks for finally noticing me, I am Billy Cliff, a human, now can someone tell me how to change back to normal cuz am itching"

We couldn't help but laugh to his statement .

"Am I that ridiculous?" He yelled and we laughed on

"No Billy, you are the cutest monster I have ever seen"

"Thanks for the compliment, now help me get back to normal"

I went close to him, placed my left hand on his chest and my right on his forehead.

"Close your eyes" I instructed and he obeyed. I uttered some spells and reversed the mutation effect

Slowly he shrinked back to normal size, his fingernails went back to normal and the wings disappeared. My Billy was back.

We stood there staring at each other, he smiled and I blushed

"are you two going to kiss already or what?" Reenie said

"hey shut up" I yelled.

Billy drew me closer and planted a deep kiss on my lips, I was shy. I mean my parents were right there.

"Gross!" Naomi yelled and looked away while the rest laughed

Reenie's POV

Seeing the both of them kiss reminded me of Norman, I abandoned him without a notice, he must be sad and worried right now.

"So what now? Naomi asked "do we get to go home?"

"Um... yes, hope you haven't lost the chip" aunt asked

"No, it's with me" Kira replied and brought out the chip "but I don't think it's working" she added

Aunt Eve took the chip and chanted the secret Manta, the portal opened immediately.

"Well, it seems perfectly fine to me" she said

"great, now that the portal is open, I will take this two to where they belong, you guys can come back later" king Trevor said

"alright, sounds like a plan" Dad agreed

King Trevor held Baron and the sorcerer, then pushed them into the portal after which he also jumped in, and the portal snapped shut

I was confused, should I go back and leave Norman behind? No, I don't think I can do that, I can't live without him

Billy's POV

we were back in the cliff Mansion, Naomi was back packing her stuff, she seems excited about leaving this world.

Reenie had a sad expression on her face, she sat alone in the living room with a gloomy face.

Kira on her own side was busy with her family reunion, her dad just shaved his bushy beard, now he looks much more younger than before

I walked to Kira and signalled her to follow me, the look on my face is enough to convey the message in my heart. I took her to the balcony on the roof of my building, the same spot at which I proposed my love to her.

"Kira, are you are you really going to leave me?"

"I'm also confused Billy, I don't know what to do, I really don't want to go but my parents insist"

"please Kira, don't leave me, I can't survive without you"

"Billy, I do understand but I don't have a choice, I am compelled to leave, I tried convincing my parents but they had made up their mind"

"Then I'll go talk to them, I will tell them how much I love you, you and I will never be happy again if you leave me, I will go and convince them now" I concluded.

"There is no need for that" The sound of her Dad's voice took me unaware.

I still wonder how they appear wherever they want to appear and how they always find us.

I looked behind and there he was with his wife.

"Sir, I understand that Kira is your only daughter and sole heir to your throne but she's also the love of my life, I can't let her go" I said boldly

"Alright then, she stays with you" he replied calmly taken me aback.

"Sir? Dad?" we both yelled

"Yes, your dad and I are only concerned about your happiness, so if he keeps you happy, then you can stay with him" her mum added

"wow... thanks a lot mum and Dad, you are the best parents in the whole universe" Kira said and hugged her parents

I was so excited, yes! our love has won again! Kira is staying with me.

"Don't start to rejoice yet, there are conditions attached" her das said

"what conditions?" I asked.

"First, Kira has to visit us four times in a year, secondly you must promise to take care of my princess, if you dare to hurt her, then I will guage your eyes out and feed them to the dogs"

His words scared the life out of me, then he smiled and I breathed in relief.

"I promise you sir, I will take good care of her" I said and smiled at kira, she smiled back.

"Good, now final condition, stop calling me sir, if you don't want to call me Dad, then refer to me as your Highness"

We all burst into laughter, I like his sense of humor.

"Alright dad, that won't be a problem" I replied

"wait I also have my own condition" her mum said and Kira smirked

"You guys have to treat us to your best dishes" she smiled

"No problem, I can arrange a romantic candle light dinner for you two at my hotel, who knows you might end up making more babies"

"Billy!" kira yelled with wide eyes.

"what?, they are still young!" I retorted with arms in the air

"He is right, what's wrong if we make more babies" her dad said and held his wife closer.

"Then you are going to forget about me" Kira frowned.

"Of course not, no matter how many more babies we make, you are still going to be my favourite" her dad said

"are you sure Dad?"

"Yes totally" he smiled

"Thanks Dad, I love you"

"I love you too my princess" he said and hugged her

She is lucky to have such loving parents, I do envy her.

Just then I remembered the video proof of her Innocence, mom showed to me. what happened that night was clearly a misunderstanding, I need to talk to Dad, he needs to bring my mum back.
