Rennie's POV

I woke up naked in his arms, we must have dozed off after two rounds of sex. I tried to get out of his strong arms quietly but he opened his eyes and held me down

"hey you are up" he said and smiled

"Look where we ended up, all thanks to you" I feigned anger

"Swear you didn't have fun" he smirked. I tried to reply but he pulled me closer and locked our lips hungrily. His hand crept into the blanket and found my left boobs.

Mckzene's POV

I coughed twice and opened my eyes, I noticed my upper clothes were off, there was a soft fabric tied around my chest, more like a towel.

I was laying on a bamboo bed. I was sweating profusely as a result of the candles lit around the bed.

I was still wondering how I got there when the last person I expected to see walked in.

"Eve?" I called out and tried to get up but I fell back down in pains.

She rushed to me and held my shoulders "stay down, you have not fully recovered" she said bluntly

I could see the pain and love for me in her eyes, after all this years, she still has feelings for me.

"Eve... I... I am sorry" I stuttered.

"Shhhh!" She indicated that I should keep quiet "just rest, don't say a word" she said coldly showing no expression.

"What are the red candles for?" I asked curiously.

"It's a ritual, to drive away the darkness that the dark elves put in you" she spoke softly avoiding my eyes

She must have gotten rid of the powers Ramzoh gave to me because I felt normal apart from the pain of the arrow wounds on my chest.

"How did you get here, and how did you find me?" I queried

"You are still as stubborn as a kid, are you ever going to change?" She snapped angrily and I smiled. That's the woman I got married to, I have missed her attitude and constant reprimanding.

"You know I won't stop asking until I get answers" I replied with a smile

She rolled her eyes at me like a teenager, then sighed. "Fine! Just keep quiet and let me do the talking" she said with a little smile.

"Okay ma" I chuckled and nodded in agreement. I can't quit loving this woman, the boss of my empire.

"I knew it would take a lot of time if I came through the tunnel on foot so I brought Zelo along, she flew me to the doors of Earth"

"And the gatekeeper? He let you pass? Just like that?" I queried

"No... I had to donate some blood" a masculine voice said and it's owner walked in.

"King Trevor?" I uttered in astonishment. The elf kingdom was here too.

"Hello old friend" he chuckled "Queen Eve told me she needed my help to get to Earth, my wife and daughter in law too are on my neck, requesting I find Baron, also I have always wanted to visit Earth since childhood, so you can say I am killing three birds with one stone" he smiled

"That's right, after we got out of the tunnel, I was on a mountain when I saw you staggering below, I saw you pull those arrows out of your chest, then you collapsed"

I could see the sadness in her eyes and tone as she spoke, she was hurting and it was all because of me.

Kirana's POV

We were dancing slowly to the music, along with the other couples at the party, his hand was on my waist while mine was on his broad shoulders. I think he must be tipsy by now, four cups was enough to do the job.

However Billy was not the only one partially under the influence, in order to do what I am about to do, I needed a bit of the alcohol too.

"Billy?" I called softly.

"Yes" he replied smiling

"I... I dont know if this is right, but I, I just want you to know that, um... I have developed feelings for you, I... I love you Billy" I confessed

He was quiet and dumbfounded at the moment, then finally he spoke

"Kira... I don't know how to put this without hurting you, but I am not capable of loving anyone, I... I... I think I love you, just as a friend" he uttered

His words wereee like a bee sting to my heart, it shattered me, I couldn't find the words to use next, I just stood there mute as a dumb

"Kira... I... I am sorry" he said

"It's fine, I need... I need some air" I uttered and let go of him

I ran out of the party hall and into the street, I didn't even care where I was going, all I wanted was to get away from him

This is what I feared, the pain of loving someone who doesn't love you backk. I looked back and I was far from the club, I was wandering in the dark street

Suddenly four thugs emerged from a corner and surrounded me

"hey beautiful one, you have come to the right place" one asid and they laughed

"Boss she is hot, hot enough to warm your bed" another one said and the laughed again

"listen, it will be best if you stay away, or else I'm going to hurt you so bad that you will wish to die instead"

My warning sounded like a joke to them, they burst into laughter making me more angry. I tried to stay calm to avoid triggering the hyper mode, If those red eyes show up then i might end up killing someone tonight.

"You dont need to be scared, lets do it the easy, i promise to go gentle on you" the first man spoke again and as usual they cackled

He started coming closer to me slowly with a small knife in his hand. Someone is about to get a taste of a heartbroken witch's anger, he is sure not going to love it.

"Stop! If you take one more step closer then i will make you regret it" I threatened but it fell on deaf ears.

The man took another step forward, i was about to use hex on him, before i could make the move, an arrow from no where flew into his right boot, piercing his leg.

He screamed and hopped In pain, Everyone looked up to see where the arrow came from. Standing on the roof was an archer, his face covered in a hood.

"Who the fuck are you supposed to be? Robinhood?" One of the men yelled.

They all pulled their guns and opened fire on him, like a skilled soldier he dodged every bullet that came his way, and not more than five minutes later, he had taken them all down with his bow.

I was impressed, who could this skilled archer be?

He leaped from one end of the building to another until he landed safely on the floor then walked briskly to me

"Whoever you are, i didnt need your help, i can take care of myself" i said sternly.

"I know that, but you could have atleast told them that i am the only one who is allowed to touch you" he replied and took off his hood

I stood there frozen, i cant believe what i am seeing, or better still, who i am seeing. He is here, how is this possible?

"Hey kira, the look on your face says you didn't miss me" he smiled

"Baron?" I called out just to be sure

"I am glad i found you, get the seal, lets go home" he instructed

Him mentioning the seal reminded me of the long forgotten, no one has spoke about it in months. Could it be that things are back to normal in Westham?

"How... how did you get here?" I asked still baffled

"Through the tunnel of the gods" he replied

"Tunnel of the gods?" I queried

"Yes, it's a secret passage to here" he explained

"And the priestess, did she approve of my return?" I asked

"Yeah... she actually sent me to get you, and the scroll, so where is it?" He asked

Why is he so curious about the scroll, something is not alright, the priestess instructed that I never give the scrool to anyone, not even Reenie, could he be an impersonator, also she said that when it is time to come home, my heart will tell me, but right now, it ain't telling me anything, or am I refusing to listen, maybe because I have become addicted to this world, and to the people in it, I am so confused.

"You sound like you came here for the scrool and not for me" I said and rolled my eyes.

"Babe, what are you saying? Of course that's not true, I have been dying to see you again" he sweet talked

"Humm, don't try to butter me up, also don't call me babe, whatever happened between us was in the past" I stated

"Love... what are you saying, we belong together" he replied

"No, you belong with Vishia" I corrected his statement

Just then I looked back and saw Billy in the dark, running to me while calling my name. I turned around and Baron was gone, probably hiding in the darkness.

Something has changed about him, he is not the Baron I once dated. Anyway change is constant, and everyone is bound to change some day.

Billy's POV

I watched her run out of the club, why did I say that? I must have really hurt her, I am such a fool.

She confessed her feelings for me and without thinking I said things which I shouldn't have, come to think of it, those words didn't come from my heart, they came from my brain.

I had grown up with the ideology that love isn't a thing but I guess I was wrong, if love doesn't exist then what am I feeling?, why do I always think of her

I have even stopped having sex with random sluts because Kira is all that comes to my mind all the time, maybe I am truly in love with her.

"Oh Billy, you have messed up" my inner man scolded

No! I should go and look for her, I need to apologize.

I looked around in search of Wilson and Phillips, they were in a corner drinking. sometimes I wonder if they are my bodyguards or my buddies

I came outside but she was nowhere in sight, I ran into the dark Street. My instincts tell me she must have gone towards the left so I went left

After 2 minutes of running and yelling her name, I looked back and noticed that I was very far from the club

"Holy Madagascar! how did I cover such a far distance in a little time" I wondered

Something is definitely not fine with me, first my eyes go red, after that I got cut by a broken glass and the cuts closed up in seconds, then when Kira showed up earlier today, I could see her through the door like the door was not there at all, and now I am running with the speed of five athletes combined, what is happening to me?

Anyway right now I am more concerned about finding Kira than what's going on with me, my heartbeat picked race at the thought of losing her, I was nervous, scared to my bones, then I heard gunshots and my heart flew into my stomach

"Could it be... no... no way it could be Kira"

I kept running towards the sound of the gun shot. If I lose Kira today then I'm going to end my life

Suddenly I saw a shadow that seems like hers, but there was another shadow with her.

I screamed her name and ran towards her without the fear that there may be gun men there.

However when I approached her, she was there alone. I thought I saw someone, perhaps my mind is playing tricks on me

"Kira are you ok?" I asked checking her to be sure

"Yeah I am fine" she reply coldly looking around like she was searching for something

"What happened? I heard gunshots" I asked

"It's nothing, I'm fine" she replied

"listen Kira, I am really sorry about tonight... I"

"It's okay, it wasn't your fault, I am glad you were honest with me, sorry I had to make you come here, let's get back to the club now" she said and faked a smile

"Alright, let's go" I muttered. I don't know why but I have this strange feeling that we were not alone, I looked around but saw no one.
