Chapter 21. Reenie is no more!!

Kirana's POV

"So what is this forbidden storehouse you mentioned" Reenie asked while forcing bacon down her throat

"did you really have to eat that now" I asked from the front seat

"What!!... you know how much I love pigs" she replied

"whatever... anyway the SASA201426 is one of the store rooms in our agency base, its right under the boss's office and no one apart from the boss is allowed to go in" I explained

"oh... so that's why it's called the forbidden storehouse"

"correct... it seems like you've gotten smarter on Earth" I mocked

"hey is that supposed to be a compliment or an insult?" she snapped from the backseat with her mouth full

"Alright ladies... can we try concentrating and besides we don't even have a plan" Billy chirped in while driving

"Yeah... we do need a plan" Reenie supported

"I don't think we need one" I opposed

"okay... whatever you say ma'am" she replied sarcastically and went back to dealing with her bacon

we got to Natalie's lab or should I say SASA base and I walked in first.

The receptionist was sitting in her position as usual, I knew she would cause an alarm if my partners walked in without an ID card so I had to use my mind control abilities to make them invisible to her eyes as they walked in then I led them down to the basement

"Um... what exactly are we doing in a basement?" Reenie queried

"quiet... just watch and see" I said with a smirk

I walked to the lever and pulled it down, like expected the secret passage opened

"ladies and gentlemen... welcome to SASA" I smiled as they looked surprised

"secret entrance... well that's cool" reenie smiled

I led them to the store houses and we got to the forbidden one

I turned the door handle but it was locked

"let me break it down" billy offered

"No.... you"

Before I could complete the statement, he attacked the door forcefully with a heavy shoulder but unfortunately he bounced off and found himself on the floor

"hahaha" Reenie burst into laughter

"stop that" I scolded "Sorry Billy... I tried to warn you" I said and helped him up

"Why is the lock so strong" he asked while holding his shoulders

"The sorceror must have locked it with sorcery" I replied while watching the edges of the door

"so what do we do no" Reenie asked

"well... we'll give it a vibe" I uttered and smiled at reenie

"oh... I love Vibes" she replied in an excited tone

"So what do I have to do?" Billy asked

" just stand back and watch... preferably from a distance" Reenie replied in a bad guy voice that made me chuckle

Billy shot a Stern glance at her then walked back a bit

"alright girl, on 3... 2... 1" I counted and immediately we placed our right hand on the door

it was enveloped by a Green Glow and our eyes went green as usual

"come on girl... put more vibe, we can do this" I urged on

"Ok... boss" she mouthed sarcastically and added more energy that causes a vibration

Before I could predict what's next "boom!" the door puffed like a balloon leaving the place opened

"Cool... was that supposed to happen?" Billy asked in amazement

"Um... no, it should have just shrinked... but someone had to use excess power" I said with a frown refering to Reenie indirectly

"hey ... don't give me that look, I clearly heard you say 'put more vibe" Reenie retorted

"okay that's enough... Can we proceed?" Billy once again put an end to the argument

I rolled my eyes at her and walked in while they followed behind

"Where exactly did you see her?" I asked and she scoffed

"I thought you knew it all" she replied rudely

"can you two just quit arguing and be nice" Billy said and I took a deep breath in and out

"follow me" she said in a cold voice and led us to the last room on the block

It was dark apart from the fire lit under a boiling pot. I looked front and couldn't believe my eyes

"Oh my god... Naomi!!" I yelled and she looked in my direction

she was looking weak, pale and exhausted. I rushed to her and try to break the chains but I received a zap that sent a shocking sensation down my spine

"Ouch!" I groaned and let go

"we meet again... kirana Mckzene" a voice startled me

I looked towards a corner of the room and there was the evil sorcerer standing with his stuff in his hand

"Billy... Reenie, get Naomi out of here, I'll take care of him" I said and went into full combat mode. The green eyes came over as usual

"No one is leaving here... not until I get the other two parts of the key, good thing you brought them along" he uttered and the door locked on it's own

"You are not getting these chips... over-my-dead-body" i announced

"Then so be it" he said confidently

I transformed to a lioness and roared fiercely

the sorceror on seeing my new form uttered some spells and stomped his staff heavily on the floor then immediately he changed to a wolf and we engaged in battle

Eve's POV

"Great one... how do you feel now?" I asked the priestess who was laying on the sick bed

" I feel better, thanks for rescuing me" she said in her aged fading voice

"I was just carrying out my duty... however we still have a lot of problem on our hand" I replied

"what's wrong" she said weakly

"well Mckzene is on his way to Earth, he took the tunnel of the gods and he has the elf prince on his side, I'm so confused, what do we do now" I queried with a worried face

"there is only one thing we can do... we have to do nothing" the old priestess uttered

"Nothing? why nothing? I Mean Mckzene will make it to Earth in few days, then he will find Kira and possess the scrool, you don't need me to tell you what will happen after that, do you?"

"relax eve, things are going to be in place soon" she said confidently with a smile on her wrinkled face

"but what makes you think so?" I asked in curiosity

"I communed with the ancestors while at the point of death and I'm assured that soon it will be over"

"Great one... i still don't understand" I said In puzzlement of her words

"you don't need to... Just believe because love is the greatest" she smiled widely

"love is the greatest?....." I muttered tried to make sense out of her words

Should I accept this old lady's words or is she still suffering from the effects of the trauma she passed through

"Have you rest great one, I will check on you later" I said and walked out in bafflement

Kirana's POV

we pounced on each other, punching, scratching, biting and rolling all over

Suddenly he pinned me down and raised his paw to strike but just then, from nowhere, reenie sent a sharp claw cut through his face leaving him with a deep scar

he was bleeding profusely, he was really hurt, he looked at reenie who was now in her favourite animal form; a large cat

he groaned in pain and I roared prepared to attack. he ignored me and went after Reenie who was also more than ready for him

she leaped and bit him on the shoulder very close to his neck, he flinged her off and I sent another bite to his left shoulder making him wince in pain

He realised that the two of us was too much for him so he pulled back immediately and snarled

I thought he was going to retreat but instead he made a quick attack at us again, however I was faster to counter by throwing him over with my hind legs.

he crashed on the walls and fell unconscious. Reenie got closer to confirm, she sniffed and poked him but he didn't make a move so she turned her back to him and changed back to her real form

Only if we had known that it was the biggest mistake of her life, the moment she transformed, he rose up and plunged his long claws into her chest from behind. she screamed and fell on her knees then face down to the earth, right before me.

Watching my best friend fall to the dust triggered the worst of me, my eyes turn red and I roared fiercely, it was like a force had taken over me

before the sorceror could see it coming, I pounced on him and delivered a jaw shattering punch to his face that sent some of its fangs flying off

I lifted him up roughly like he was fetheir weight and threw him on the wall then I change back to my real form with my eyes still red

The wolf was now panting weakly on the floor but I didn't care, I delivered good numbers of heavy punches that left its nose bleeding and it changed back to the old man

I then pulled out the part of the chip hanging on my neck, I stretched my hand towards Reenie and the string that held her own part of the chip cut While the chip itself flew into my hand like a magnet

I pulled off the final part from the wolf's neck and joined the three of them together

I chanted the secret manta and the portal to Westham opened

"You want to go home so badly right?!!" I snarled

I lifted him up and threw him into the breach then closed it up breathing heavily

Billy's POV

Naomi rushed to Reenie and lifted her to lay on her laps while I walked to Kira who was still panting at the same spot

"Kira... are you okay?" I asked and tapped her shoulder

she turned towards me immediately, grabbed me by the coller and pushed me roughly to the wall

"Kira... what are you doing, it's me" I yelled nervously

I was really.... really scared, she was been aggressive, her head moved slowly to my neck and my heart picked race, I tthought she was going to bite me like the vampires I have seen in movies, I would have pushed her off but she was too strong

I guess this is it, the end of Billy cliff. I closed my eyes and said a silent prayer

Suddenly her mouth changed direction and surprised me with a sudden hungry kiss

I didn't know what to do, whether to return the kiss or break it, after about fifteen seconds she unlocked our lips and then her eyes colour changed from red to green, then to normal

she let go of my collar immediately and rushed to Reenie

"Reenie!! Reenie!!... come on, wake up bud" she screamed rubbing her palms on Reenie's

I came closer and felt her pulse then put my two fingers on her neck, after that I checked her breath and heart beat

Kira looked at me and I shook my head in grief

"she's gone" I said softly

"no... it's not true" kira muttered

"I'm sorry Kira... but she's no more" I said calmly trying hard to hold back the tears

After some minutes of silence, she stood up

"Take her to the car" she instructed

"don't you think we should call an ambulance" I said

"No... we're taking her home" she announced

"Kira I know this is really hard for you to accept but she's really dead" I said

"I know okay?... just do as I said" she snapped in anger

I didn't want to upset her anymore so I did as she said and carried Reenie's corpse

she led the way with Naomi while I followed behind

I noticed that the fire under the big pot quenched on its own and the Pot dried up

we got into the car trying to avoid the people's attention then we headed home in silence
