Kathleen went in search of her second clue leaving behind Laura and Janice in the hall. They could witness girls dancing in the middle of the hall. Everyone was bopping to a bieber song and Janice urged Laura to accompany her to the dance floor.
"Fine, fine. I'll dance", signed Laura rolling her eyes. Laura is coy about dancing infront of so many people, especially during public events like these. She is a diffident at times and she tries hard to overcome her demure attitude.
"Laura, no one is going to watch what we do and most importantly, you are wearing a mask for God's sake", Janice groaned as the bieber song came to an end before she could hit the dance floor.
"Okay fine. Argghh... where the hell is your prince Gerald? At least then you will leave me to peace", hissed Laura.
"You are right?! I haven't seen him around", Janice scan the hall but couldn't spot him and mission finding Gerald turns out to he harder then she thought. A huge of crowd of anonymous masked girls and boys were spread all around the hall.
"Maybe he is in the middle of something", teased Laura with a chuckle. Janice threw suspicious looks at Laura.
"What if....Doris is not letting him go.....", joked Laura making her glare.
"Shut up Laura!!", she snapped. She never liked the thought of Doris and Gerald together. Doris was desperately into Gerald that probably annoyed Janice.
*****I always say what I'm feeling
I was born without a zip on my mouth...............****
Janice eyes lit up on hearing women like me sung by the girls band little mix.?She and Kathleen loved this song like crazy.
"Come on", Janice yelled dragging Laura to the dance floor.
*******Sometimes I don't even mean it
It takes a little while to figure me out
I like my coffee with two sugars in it
High heels and my jewelry dripping
Drink and I get all fired up (Hey, hey, hey)
Insecure but I'm working with it
Many things that I could get rid of
Ain't about to give it up
I made a few mistakes, I regret it nightly
I broke a couple hearts that I wear on my sleeve
My mama always said, girl, you're trouble
And now I wonder, could you fall for a woman like me
And every time we touch, boy, you make me feel weak
I can tell you're shy and I think you're so sweet
Spending every night under covers and
Still I wonder, could you fall for a woman like me (A woman)
Woman like me, like a woman like me
La-la-la woman like me, like a woman like me (A woman)
La-la-la woman like me, like a woman like me
La-la-la woman like me, like a woman like me********
Laura and Janice were panting like they are out of oxygen by the end of the dance. They really had a great time making funny moves, spinning, twirling and whirling like a cyclone.
Before she could let out a deep breath, a pair hands hug her waist from behind and dragging her into the middle of the dance floor. The speaker played love me like you do by ellie Goulding.
Janice knew whose hands were those and only those hands had the gutsy to touch her like that. It was Gerald. Janice smiled at the way he held her. He turn her around and Gerald intertwined his fingers along with hers.
Janice and Gerald melt down in the heat of beautiful moment. Janice and Gerald lock eyes for a second and music began.....
******You're the light, you're the night
You're the color of my blood
You're the cure, you're the pain
You're the only thing I wanna touch
Never knew that it could mean so much, so much
You're the fear, I don't care
'Cause I've never been so high
Follow me through the dark
Let me take you past the satellites
You can see the world you brought to life, to life
So love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do
Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do
Touch me like you do, to-to-touch me like you do
What are you waiting for?
Fading in, fading out
On the edge of paradise
Every inch of your skin is a holy grail I've gotta find
Only you can set my heart on fire, on fire....
Yeah, I'll let you set the pace
'Cause I'm not thinkin' straight
My head's spinnin' around, I can't see clear no more
What are you waiting for?
Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do (like you do)
Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do
Touch me like you do, to-to-touch me like you do
What are you waiting for?
Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do (like you do)
Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do (yeah)
Touch me like you do, to-to-touch me like you do
What are you waiting for? Oh......********
He catch her waist and swing her around by carrying her effortlessly. He was strong but can't ignore the fact that Janice was small and barely weighed less than 100 pounds. She was like a tender flower in his strong hands and he wished to keep it fresh and safe for the rest of his life.
She couldn't help but giggle at the way he stared at her and held her close. He looked dashing in the black tuxedo and through his mask she could see his glowing eyes filled with love only for her.
"What?? Why do you keep looking at me like that?", she chuckled softly leaning against his chest.
"Mmmhmmm", he hummed, leaning down to kiss her soft lips but Janice stops him in the midway.
"No not today", she covers his mouth with her tiny fingers. He tries to bite it playfully. She chuckled at his adorable actions. They were lost in their lovely little world. Few more people in pairs occupied the dance floor besides Gerald and Janice.
As they were standing in the middle of the dance floor, they were visible to a pair of evil eyes that hid behind the mask. That grinch was a bad omen. She envies them so badly that she never wanted them to be together ever.
"Come on. It was harsh of you stopping me in the middle of something that I've been planning for a long time", he chuckled with a wink. Janice blushed and gasped on hearing him say those things.
"You pervert", she smacked his chest and he chuckled again on seeing her cheeks turning to cherries.
"Always will and always I'm", he let out a chortle, earning another smack from Janice. It was cute to witness them together but a single pair of eyes wanted to destroy their relationship badly.

Kathleen moved towards the podium and opened the Howard's publications. That was the special book mentioned in the first hint. She opens page 18 and finds her second clue. It read :
!!!!!!To find the next clue you must look in the place where you don't want to.!!!!!
She wondered where she doesn't want to look for clues. The first thing that she remembered was trash bin, she walked in search of trashcan. She was wondering how she could get her clue out of a nasty bin.
"Arghh, it stinks", she covers her nose on seeing the trashcan on the backyard. She takes a look at the sunset as she was out of the conference hall. She could get some fresh air now.
"Where do I look for clues now?", she moaned to herself. She scan around the trashbin to find her next hint. Kathleen was lucky though, she could spot a paper on the grass far away from the trashbin.
She finds out the next few clues faster than she actually thought she would. Kathleen started to love this scavenger hunt as she was running from place to place and used her brain to solve the hints to find the next one. She was enjoying the little adventure of hers.
She was heedless about her male pair and she wasn't aware of the other participants too. All she wanted was to have fun and finish the game on time to skip the cleaning part. She rushed to find the further hints.
Her 9th clue read:
!!!Next clue nowhere to be seen? Look in the place where you go to get cleaned up.!!!
She march towards the ladies room and finds her clue on the sink. She was almost done, she was cheerful during the whole game. She totally forgot about Janice and Laura and she felt like she lived in some other world.
She unfold the paper to find:
'Congratulations, this is your last clue which means you are about to find your king!! Lol, your dance partner.
If you are lucky enough, you can find your partner near the 6th table on the right side of the hall.
If not he will find you soon, wait for him there patiently.
(Psstt: your partner is dressed up in black)
Wishing you that you turn out to be the masquerade queen.
Xoxo....'
"Are they kidding me, every single boy in the hall is wearing all black, how will I find my dance companion", Kathleen grunted to herself. She leaves the ladies room and head towards the 6th table that was mentioned in the hint.
Before she could walk to the table, she was stopped by someone. He was wearing a brown suit and a black mask that covered his entire face. Kathleen stared at him for a minute to find out who it was. The person took her hands into his before Kathleen could resist.
People around them were too busy minding their own business and no one noticed Kathleen and the boy in brown suit. He caressed her hands gently with his thumb. She was left dumbfolded, finally she found out who it was.....
