“Athena, I see you had a run in with my father and mother. What did they want?” Aiden asked

“I didn’t have a run-in with your parents. They came to tell me about a party that they are hosting in my honor. That I have to be there no matter what and that they want me to be the queen of the werewolves and bring peace to the land with all supernaturals,” Kenda explained

“Did I hear you right? They want you to be queen of us all. How and Why?” Aiden asked

“Well, I am not sure of the why, but the council brought it up to your dad, and that is the how. That is also why they are having this party so I can get to know the other Alphas so they will vote yes instead of joining Algonquin and his quest for war,” Kenda explained

“Are they wanting you to find your mate as well?” Aiden asked

“No, that wasn’t talked about and I would have to tell them no because the Moon Goddess has not told me it’s time yet. I don’t think I have done all that she wants yet before I bring a mate into this.” Kenda explained

“I want to help in any way I can. I will be there for you no matter what. I like what we have and I won’t lie. I would like to see if I am your mate when you’re ready.” Aiden said

“Aiden if I could choose I would choose you. You, I know, would not expect me to act like a Luna and would treat me like an Alpha that I am and we would rule together. But, we can't. All we can do is hope that when the time comes that we are mates.” Kenda said

“I know. I just wanted you to know how I felt before it was too late. That you are the one I see as my mate when I close my eyes.” Aiden said

“Have you given anyone else this kind of attention like you are giving me? Do you let them in like you let me in? If not, then you need to try with everyone, not just me. That way when it happens you can say you are the luckiest man alive to have found the mate that you did.” Kenda explained

“Wow, you are giving me a lot to think about. When is the party?” In two weeks from today. I have to get every one of my high-ranking officers to go with me and then I have to find someone that can watch my pack while we are gone.” Kenda said

“Why don’t you leave one of each ranking behind to cover the pack and still have one or two go with you to the party. That way you have some of your ranking officers with you and they can’t say anything about it,” Aiden replied

“That’s a great idea. I should have thought of that. With them telling me this about the party and my so-called father wanting war all that I can’t think straight.” Kenda voiced

“It’s understandable. Anyway, I have news from Tia. She said she would help you out with your little brother. That she can be here in a few days.” Aiden announced

“That’s great news. I just hope there is something that we can do to help him.” Kenda replied

“We will figure this out together. Does your brother know that you want you to be a queen?” Aiden asked

“No. No one does yet I haven’t told my pack yet or my family. I would tell everyone here soon and get their reaction on the matter.” Kenda replied

“I can’t wait to see everyone’s faces when they find out that they will be the royal pack soon,” Aiden said while laughing like a lunatic. I thought about that and decided not to wait any longer to talk with my pack. I sent out a whole pack mind link telling everyone to meet me in the clearing for a pack meeting in an hour. While I was trying to come up with a way to tell my pack about the party, that people want me to be a queen, and there is a war coming because I have some power from the goddess. A knock came at my door.

“Come in” I voiced out

“Alpha can I speak with you?” Marty asked

“Come in Marty. What can I do for you?” Kenda asked

“I have a question and I’m not sure how to ask it,” Marty said

“Just ask it” Kenda replied

“Can I start a radio station and talk about things and play music?” Marty asked

“Ok here is what I need you to do for me before I can give you that answer. I will need to know how much it takes to start one, what is all the equipment you will need, how much money you will make and will this benefit the pack. Write me a plan answering all those questions and get back with me once you have all that done. Then we can sit down and talk it all out. Does that help?” Kenda asked

“Thank you Alpha I will get right to work on that after our pack meeting. Which we both have fifteen minutes to get too.” Marty said with a little laugh as he walked out of the office. I looked at the time and realized he was right. I needed to get to the clearing so I can talk with my pack about everything going on. This will be one hell of a pack meeting. Kenda walks out to the field where her pack is waiting for her to start the pack meeting. She walks out, and she looks out to all of her pack and smiles and waves to everyone.

“I’m sorry to keep you all waiting. I have a lot to go over with you and things that are coming and how it will affect our pack. I also want to hear what you all think about what I will tell you. This is our pack and we are a family. We do things as a family and we do not leave any family members in the dark. All family members have a voice and need to be heard. I will give you all a chance to speak your mind and give your opinion and then we may need to take a vote once we are all done with the discussion. Does everyone understand?” Kenda asked the whole pack said at once “Yes, Alpha”

“Ok, let me begin by saying we are doing very well with bringing people here to our business and we are booked up all session. So congrats to you all for a job well done. I also think you all for all the new buildings that have gone up and the new school. Once we get enough teachers that will be open to all of our children from all grade levels. Also, thank you all for how well you are doing with the regular humans that do not know about us running around our area. You are showing the world we can live among the people who do not have any special gifts as we do. No to the big issue at hand. They have informed me that my so-called father wants me dead and wants my pack for himself. He said he would start a war if he had to but he would see me dead before anything else. The council can do nothing to him until he makes a move. They know he was here, and that I took away his wolf so they are watching him closely. So we all need to know that he may have other support in his cause. So anyone who wants to join training can and learn to defend yourself and others. Also, I have been told that they want to make me the queen of the werewolves or of the supernaturals. That means if they get enough votes from all the alphas around the world we will become a royal pack, the only one seen in over three or four centuries. If I become queen that means we have everyone’s best interest at heart and they all will help protect us as well we protect them. Each pack will send two of their warriors to join us so each pack as someone here. If they vote no they do not have to help us in our cause but we still have to help them if we vote on how much help they get and what kind of help they get. The Elite Pack is hosting a party for me to meet up with all the alpha from around the world. I will need two high-ranking members from each group to join me and the others will care for the pack while I am gone. If any problem comes up or any question that you can’t answer, call me. The pack comes first before a party. Now, who wants to go first in stating your opinion on this matter?” Kenda announced

Each pack member was in shock about everything that Kenda had told them. None knew how to react to the matter at hand. They all took turns speaking their mind and the high-ranking officers went first to give others time to figure out how to see what was going on. Once everyone spoke and gave their thoughts, it was time to vote on whether they wanted to have all of that responsibility or not. They will also need to vote on a small group that would be a help department if they became the royal pack. So much is happening and Kenda wondered if she was strong enough to handle this all on her own. She had no mate yet, and the Goddess hasn’t told her it’s time. She still had to wonder why me?

“I see we are a little divided on which way we should go. This is what I want you all to do. Think about this long and hard for the next two days. On Friday before I leave for the Elite pack we will take a vote on what we should do. Thank you all for coming, you are free to go.” Kenda Announced the pack left and Aiden walked up to Kenda all with her brothers. Everyone was shocked, and no one knew what to say to help all that has been thrown at Kenda this year and they all knew more was yet to come. Friday came quickly, and it was time for the vote before she had to leave with some of her high-ranking officers. She called for a pack meeting and she headed there. Once everyone had shown up, she looked at everyone to see if she could tell what they were thinking.

“Ok everyone thank you for coming so quickly. We are all here to take a vote that I can take to the council and the Elite pack to let them know how you all feel. So I need you two to separate into two groups on the left side of me I want all who do not want to become a royal pack on the right side of me I want everyone who wants to become a royal pack. Go now to the side you are voting on.” Kenda announced

All the pack started to move to where they wanted to vote and to Kenda’s and Aiden’s surprise most of the pack voted to become a royal pack. They were sure that it would be a no, but once again the pack stepped up.

“I see we will become a royal pack. I know that it will scare the few of you that voted against it but I will offer you a chance to join another pack if you would like. I will not force you to be a part of this if you do not want too. I will miss anyone who leaves, think it over and I will let you all know how the party goes and what is being said. Thank you all you're free to go and I must be on my way to the Elite pack.” Kenda said and walked towards the cars that were awaiting them to leave. The rest that was going with her followed her along.
