Chapter 41 What the Night Conceals - Chapter 5
Kaio, face down, had an arm draped over her waist, still possessive even in his sleep.
She smiled, feeling a newfound power coursing through her veins.
Moving cautiously to avoid waking them, Alyssa slipped out of bed and dressed in nothing but Samuel's shirt, discarded on the floor. She made her way to the kitchen and began to brew coffee, leaving the shirt open enough to reveal the curve of her breasts with each movement.
That's how Samuel found her, leaning over the counter, her bare legs in full view, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. He paused at the entrance, his dark eyes taking in every exposed inch.
"Good morning," she said, handing him a cup with a smile that was pure temptation.
He took the coffee, but not the smile.
"Alyssa... about yesterday...
"It was incredible," she finished, sipping her coffee while her gaze remained on him. Any second thoughts?
Samuel swallowed hard, his face tense. Before he could reply, the sound of heavy footsteps announced Kaio's entrance.
"Man, that smells good," Kaio declared, striding into the kitchen completely bare, without a hint of embarrassment. His eyes sparkled at the sight of Alyssa in Samuel's shirt. Ah, I love the morning view.
Samuel's fists tightened.
"You could've put on some clothes."
Kaio laughed, grabbing a banana from the fruit bowl and peeling it with his teeth, all the while maintaining eye contact with Alyssa.
"After what we did yesterday, I'd say formalities are unnecessary, wouldn't you?"
Alyssa bit her lip, observing Samuel grow more tense with each passing moment.
"Kaio is right" she said, moving closer to Samuel and adjusting his shirt collar, pretending to fix it. "We've seen each other in every possible way... why pretend now?"
Samuel gripped her wrist, his eyes aflame.
"This can't happen again."
Kaio let out a laugh.
"Of course not" he scoffed, tossing the banana peel into the trash. Until next time.
Night fell, and with it, the tension in the house escalated. The three had dinner together, a meal fraught with glances and double entendres. Alyssa wore a tight dress she knew would drive Samuel wild, and Kaio, well, Kaio always seemed ready to devour her.
It was after the second bottle of wine that she made her move.
Just the three of us, and whatever we desire.
Kaio leaned in, intrigued.
"I adore how this girl thinks."
Samuel glanced at her, his face betraying an internal struggle.
"You have no idea what you're asking for."
"I know precisely what I'm asking for," she retorted, rising and moving towards him. Her fingers traced the contour of his chin. "And you're aware of it too."
Kaio rose, closing in on her from behind, his hands finding their way to her waist.
"She wants it, Samuel. You want it. I certainly want it," his lips found Alyssa's neck, causing her to arch against him. "What's the issue?"
Samuel watched, his eyes a dark mix of anger and desire, as Kaio slid his hand under Alyssa's dress.
"Damn it..." he growled, abruptly standing up.
It was in Samuel's room where everything either fell apart or came together, depending on one's perspective.
Alyssa pushed him onto the bed, climbing onto his lap while Kaio kissed her from behind. Samuel tried to resist - God knows he did - but when his lips met hers, it felt as if something inside him had shattered.
He took her with a passion that surprised even him, flipping her over and entering her from behind while Kaio kissed her, his fingers teasing her at the front.
"Samuel…" she moaned, his name a mantra on her lips.
He made love to her like a man possessed, each move a declaration of ownership, of long-suppressed desire. Kaio watched, then joined in, alternating between kissing her and kissing Samuel, until none of them knew anymore where one began and the other ended.
Hours later, when the three of them were exhausted and drenched in sweat, Samuel finally spoke, his voice hoarse from fatigue and emotion.
"This can never leave this house."
Alyssa, lying between the two, smiled.
"Don't worry," she murmured, her fingers tracing patterns on his chest. "Some secrets… are better kept."
Kaio laughed softly, quickly regaining his characteristic sense of humor.
"Speak for yourself. I'd even tell the doorman."
Samuel flung a pillow at him, but even he couldn't hold back a smile.
The soft moonlight filtered through the slightly ajar window, illuminating the entwined bodies on the large bed. Alyssa was lying on Samuel's chest, her fingers tracing slow circles on his damp skin, while Kaio propped himself up on an elbow next to them, a lit cigarette between his fingers.
"I never thought you'd give in, Samuel," Kaio remarked, exhaling a puff of smoke that dispersed in the heavy air of sex and desire. "After all this time playing the saint."
Samuel didn't respond right away. His fingers were tangled in Alyssa's hair, as if he still needed to reassure himself that she was there, that all of this had truly happened.
"It's not about surrendering," he finally replied, his voice deep. "It's about... acceptance."
Alyssa looked up at him, her smile slowly spreading in satisfaction.
"And do you accept?" she asked, her eyes challenging him.
Samuel held her chin, his fingers firm yet gentle.
"I'm not sure I have a choice now."
Kaio laughed, flicking his cigarette ashes into the ashtray on the bedside table.
"Of course you do. You can run away again, like you did before." His dark eyes gleamed with malice. "But I don't think you will."
Alyssa felt Samuel's body tighten beneath her, his response a low growl.
"Don't provoke me, Kaio."
She then moved, climbing up Samuel's body until their faces were level.
"He's right," she whispered, her lips almost touching his. "You're not going to run away. Because deep down, you want this as much as we do."
Samuel watched her for a lengthy moment, his dark eyes mirroring the internal struggle he was still enduring. Then, with a swift motion, he rolled her beneath him, pinning her wrists to the mattress.
"Maybe I do," he conceded, his voice a rough and dangerous tone that sent a chill down Alyssa's spine. "But that doesn't mean I'm going to play by your rules."
Kaio extinguished his cigarette and moved closer, his large hand sliding up Alyssa's thigh.
"Ah, but it's so much more fun this way," he whispered, his mouth finding her shoulder while Samuel kept her wrists pinned.
Alyssa arched between the two, her body reacting instantly to their dual touch.
"You two are insufferable," she groaned, but her smile was one of sheer satisfaction.
Samuel finally let go of her wrists, only to glide his hands over her body, remembering every curve, every mark they had made on her.
"Insatiable, you mean," he corrected, before sealing her lips in a kiss that was more a promise than a mere expression of affection.
Kaio watched for a moment before deciding he had waited long enough. His hands found Alyssa's hips, drawing her closer to him while Samuel was kissing her.
"I think it's my turn now," he announced, his voice heavy with intent.
And Samuel, to his own surprise, did nothing to stop him.
