Chapter 137 Back Home

Chapter 137 Back Home
Gabriel's POV

"Ivalio, Roffe," I said. "So what you mean to say is, they can help, but they want to come here?"

"Yes," Ivalio said. "But I forgot to ask who'll come."

"But I think," Roffe said. "It should be Kayne and Dylan. They're the head of their homes."

"Head of their homes?" Jennifer asked, confused.

"Yes," Ivalio said. "Kayne is the head of the Whitemore family, and Dylan is the head of the Vigil family. We met everyone over at the Vigil home."

"Didn't you go to the coven to meet them?" Julia asked.

"We did," Roffe said. "But there are two cottages within the coven fence. One is the Whitemore and the other is the Vigil home."

"So, we have two families then," Dustin said.

"Yes," Ivalio said. "And they know about you and Prince Gabriel, and your rare blood."

"Makes sense," I said. "After all they are hereditary witches. Okay, Nelo, Spencer, I'll leave the preparations to you both."

"Prince," Roffe said. "We all can help."

"Roffe," I said. "With witches, there's one thing. Their magic could be more powerful than what any of us could control. The Shadow Outlaws are blessed. We can dispel most of the spells, but if they are as powerful as what Ivalio and Roffe said, then we need to cast a spell on the ground to protect us."

Roffe was about to speak, but I spoke before.

"Don't worry," I said. "We won't harm unless they attempt first."

"Why do I feel bad?" Ivalio sighed.

"Ivalio, Roffe," Claude said. "Boys, the Crystal Moon Coven witches are going to help us. So, on our side, we have no reason to fight them. But we are allowing outsiders inside without a reason. So, it's viable for us to suspect them. But, we will not harm them for no reason."

"Okay," I said. "Ivalio, send a message to them to come over here tomorrow."

"I?" Ivalio said, shocked.

"Ivalio," I said. "From now on, you and Roffe are going to be the heads of the conversation."

"Yes," Dustin said. "Ivalio, we didn't tell you both just to go, check, and go back to your duties. From now on, till this matter is over, you're going to head it."

"Okay," Ivalio said. "Then excuse us. We'll have to call Murphy so he can take the message."

As they left, Blake spoke.

"Gabriel," he said. "What are you hiding?"
"What?" I said surprised. "What do you mean by that?"

"Side me in," Claude said, raising his hand.

"What's gotten in you all?" I said. "Dustin--"

"Gabriel," Dustin said. "I would if Wade's worried look wouldn't discomfort us. He won't say cause you must have told him not to tell."

"Wade?" Gabriel took hold of his hand. "Everyone sorry for causing trouble. But, I just got some information regarding the Golden Conjunction. If Pilan really is the apprentice of the Serenity Witches, then we're in trouble. During the last Golden Conjunction, The Serenity Witches brought back life in more than thirteen beings."

"But that's against the rules of nature." Lily said.

"Yes," I said. "The reason The Serenity Witches coven is banished and this also means or is possible Pilan might know how to as well. In such a case, we can't trust any witch unless we are hundred percent sure."

"Okay," Dustin said. "If so, I can use my sense traits to check their souls. But before that, Blake, have your omega's checked by each one who comes."

"Yes," Jenna said. "And wait, we didn't ask who's coming? I mean what if the heads bring their wives along?"

"Well," Claude said. "In that case let's have female omegas with us as well. Denis, you can handle them, can't you?"

"Sure,"Denis said. "No problem, I'll take care of them."

"Oh, and Jennifer," I said. "Julia will be the center of the talk as she's the one who met Pilan. And Jenna will have to be the host lady. You will stay with Lily throughout the time they are here. Don't leave her alone for a second. She is expecting. She's at her vulnerable time."

"Vulnerable?" Jennifer said. "What do you mean? Of course, I will but I need to know what you mean by that?"

"Lily," I was about to tell, but Jenna spoke instead.

"Gabriel," Jenna said. "I think I should tell."

I nodded.

"Jennifer," Jenna said. "When a lady is expecting, she's in her utmost feeble position. Her one wrong step, one wrong bite, one wrong pill can end the life of the baby. With Lily, I'm following the same. No heels, her diet is planned, and the healers are careful of the medication she takes. Another thing, the body is at its most vulnerable time. After all, the body is creating a new life."

"Okay," Jennifer said. "Don't worry--"

"Oh and one more thing," Jenna said. "For now we don't know anything about them. A pregnant body should not be exposed to magic, it can harm the baby."

"Okay," Jennifer said. "In that case, Valerino can stay with me. She's a vampire, so she can help dodge if they attempt anything."

"Jennifer," Valerino said. "Don't worry. With us beside, Lily will be safe."

"Okay," I said. "Ladies, you all will stay indoors, until we call you to come. And honestly, if only men come, I think we don't have to let you all come in the front. Only Julia and Jenna can come."

"I agree." Blake said. "Dustin, and I will remain by Julia's and Jenna's side for safety."

"Okay," I said. "The ladies are safe. By now Ivalio and Roffe must have sent the message. Let's prepare the rooms for them, rest in case more than the head men come, we'll do as required."

"Okay," Denis said. "I'll tell the guardians to be on alert. I think it's the first time we'll be interacting with witches."

"Yes," Blake said. "And we also have to tell the female omega to make the food accordingly."

"Blake," I said. "We'll leave that to you."

"Done." Blake said.

"Okay," I said. "Everyone has and knows what to do. Let's head out as we don't know when they'll be here."
