Renee’s voice was loud and clear, with a hint of sarcasm in his tone.
Before Renee’s mother asked Renee to take over the company, she said that there were many old people in the company who had followed her to start the business.
But this group of people took advantage of their seniority and often did things for personal gain.
Out of consideration for her feelings, Renee’s mother had turned a blind eye all these years.
Since Renee was taking over the company, she could eradicate these malignant tumors. After all, Manager Sterling was an old hand in the company and he had done a lot of shady dealings over the years. This was the first time he was caught in public and he looked unhappy.
“Ms. Jackson, some things cannot be judged by data alone. Doing business is not as simple as you think. I, as your senior, will not blame you for not understanding. Just sign directly. I will negotiate the rest. You don’t have to worry about it.”
Renee sat in a wheelchair, tapping her fingers on the table as she asked, “Manager Sterling,
you don’t look at data when doing business, what do you look at?
if
“You are a veteran of the company and my senior. I don’t want to say something too harsh, but it is impossible to cooperate with Pearson Group.”
Manager Sterling’s face turned green instantly. He glared at Renee fiercely and left the office angrily.
Renee could hear his dissatisfied voice outside the office, “You are just a cripple, relying on being the Chairman’s daughter to boss me around. I’ll wait for you to come and beg me when the time comes!”
Hearing these words, Renee just smiled and did not take it to heart at all.
At the same time, the office door opened again and Jeromy came in.
Jeromy put the medicine box on the table and went over to help Renee up.
“It’s time to apply the medicine.”
Renee stood, putting all the weight of her body on Jeromy and limped to the sofa.
Jeromy put Renee’s legs on him, lifted her skirt to expose her knees and changed the medicine.
“When I came in just now, I heard someone outside scolding you. Did you feel wronged?”
During the three months they had been together, Renee had already regarded Jeromy as a good friend and the two of them could talk about almost anything.
“No one can make me feel wronged now. It’s just a difference of opinion at work. Don’t pay
attention to it.”
Renee did not say much and Jeromy was also very tactful and did not ask any more

As usual, Jeromy helped Renee massage her legs to activate her meridians.
“Jeromy, thank you for taking care of me for the past three months. Please raise the medical expenses as soon as possible.”
Suddenly, Jeromy stopped and stared at Renee as he answered, “I have no shortage of money. If you really want to repay me, why not grant me a wish?”
Renee agreed, “Sure. You have helped me so much, so I would agree to fulfill not only one wish, but even three wishes. But I still have to pay for the treatment.”
Jeromy’s eyes curved and asked, “What if I say I want to be your boyfriend?”
Renee’s expression froze for a moment, then she smiled faintly, “You are kidding, right? You are so outstanding, you can find any kind of girlfriend you want.
“I will pretend I didn’t hear what you just said. Tell me when you have made up your mind.” After saying this, Renee put her legs down from his body and walked back with her crutches.
Jeromy’s eyes became dim.
For the next ten minutes, Renee did not dare to look at Jeromy and kept pretending to work seriously.
Finally, the arrival of Percy, the lawyer, broke the tranquility.
“Ms. Jackson.” Percy came in and glanced at Jeromy, signaling Renee that there were outsiders here.
Renee already knew how Jeromy felt about her, but she did not dare and did not want to enter into another relationship so quickly, so it would be better for Jeromy to know something.
Renee said to Percy, “Jeromy is my good friend, not an outsider, just tell me directly.”
Percy nodded and took out the severance agreement from his briefcase.
“Ms. Jackson, this is the severance agreement between you and Mr. Pearson. All the procedures have been completed. From now on, you and Mr. Pearson will no longer have any legal relationship.”
