When Iva heard that they were going to sue, she immediately grabbed Felix and advised, “Felix, you don’t like Renee anyway and you have raised her for so many years, so if she wants to leave, let her go.”
Anyway, Renee was no longer useful and keeping her around would only be an eyesore.
Since she knew what was good for her and decided to leave, it saved her a lot of trouble.
Before, Felix would definitely listen to Iva, but this time he hesitated.
Felix found a good excuse for himself, “After all, I have supported her for so many years. If I cut off the relationship now, people will definitely talk about me. Pearson Group cannot make any mistakes at this critical time of listing.”
Iva clutched the bed sheet tightly. She always felt that Felix was lying and was making excuses for his reluctance.
“Want to break up? Let Renee contact me personally, otherwise I won’t sign this!”
Percy thought about it and finally called Renee.
When the call was connected, Felix snatched the phone away.
“Renee, where are you? Come back right now before I get angry.”
Renee’s sleep had already been disturbed and when she heard Felix’s voice, she immediately became furious.
“Felix, if you have a mental illness, go get treatment. I’ve asked Mr. Percy to give you the contract to break up the marriage. It’s best to sign it if you know what’s good for you.
“If you insist on making things difficult for me, I will immediately file a lawsuit against you
and Iva.
“Also, don’t act like an elder in front of me. You don’t deserve it!”
After speaking for a while, Renee hung up the phone.
Percy stood aside and said coldly, “Mr. Pearson, since you don’t want to, just wait for the court’s summons.”
Seeing that Percy was really planning to leave, Iva instantly panicked and advised him, *Felix, Renee is determined to sever ties with you. You also said that Pearson Group is now at a critical time for listing. Do you really want to be sued?”
Felix clenched his fists and was pulled by Iva’s arm.
Seeing that Percy was about to leave, Felix finally gave in, “Give me the contract, I’ll sign it!”
Iva saw that Felix agreed, she secretly breathed a sigh of relief and curled the corners of her lips slightly.
Percy directly turned to the last page of the contract and Renee’s name appeared in front of Felix.

Felix frowned and signed his name.
Percy was about to leave with the contract signed by Felix, but was grabbed by the arm before he left and asked, “I’ve already signed it, can you tell me where she is now?”
Percy pulled Felix’s hand away expressionlessly and said indifferently, “Mr. Pearson, you and my client no longer have any relationship. You have no right to know where she is.”
After saying that, Percy turned and left the ward.
Percy left for a long time, but Felix still had not recovered.
Iva had a bad feeling in her heart and narrowed her eyes to ask, “Felix, are you really in love with Renee?”
Felix refuted firmly, “How is that possible? I don’t like her, I just use her.”
Although Felix said this, Iva still felt a little uneasy and added fuel to the fire.
“Felix, it’s good that you can understand your own heart. Looking at Renee’s current situation, she must be a wealthy person on the list, otherwise she wouldn’t be so arrogant. “Now that she’s gone, you don’t have to think about her. Let her go. But the matter between us can’t be delayed any longer.
“You promised me before that we would get married this year.”
Iva stared at Felix closely, waiting for his next words.
Felix hesitated for a few seconds and Iva immediately revealed her grievance as she asked, “Felix, don’t you want to marry me anymore?”
Seeing Iva’s aggrieved look, he immediately thought of the Hawkins Family’s life–saving grace to him more than ten years ago.
More than a decade ago, when the Pearson Group was teetering on the edge of collapse, it was the Hawkins Family who extended a lifeline.
Since that day, Felix had treated Iva with unwavering care–a debt of gratitude that slowly transformed into deep, abiding love.
If Renee had not existed, perhaps they would have gotten married and obtained their marriage certificate long ago.
As a man, one should not forget his roots. Felix made a solemn promise to Iva, “Don’t worry, I will not go back on my promise to you. We will get married in half a year.”
