CHERISHED MOMENTS
JASON:
The days that followed our reunion were filled with pure joy and happiness. Clarissa and I made the most of our time together, going on a series of fun-filled dates, creating memories that would last a lifetime. We laughed, we explored, and we shared our hopes and dreams with each other. It was a great thing to be home again after all I had been through back at our pack. I told Clarissa of all our risky adventures, especially of Fawnhide, of the maddening cruelty Clyde had to face because of his passionate resolve to protect and extract the Orhert from danger of any kind.
One sunny afternoon, I took Clarissa to the local amusement park. We rode roller coasters, played games, and indulged in cotton candy and ice cream. As we screamed with laughter on the exhilarating rides, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of liberation and freedom. It was as if, for those few hours, we were transported to a carefree world where our worries faded away, like we were ten years old again and there was no worry at all I the world. I love being with Clarissa, I love the way she made me laugh too hardly until my chest ached until
I love being with Clarissa, I love the way she made me laugh too hardly until my chest ached until I doubled over in laughter, when I was with Clarissa, I was not the Alpha of a pack or an important person, I was just Jason — and, I was alive, I was as alive as the colors trapped in the wings of butterflies.
On another day, we decided to go on a hike in the nearby forest. The lush greenery surrounded us, and the sounds of nature filled the air. We held hands as we walked along the winding trails, enjoying the tranquility and serenity of the wilderness. It was during this hike that we stumbled upon a beautiful clearing with a breathtaking view of the sunset. We sat down, embracing each other, and watched as the sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant colors. It was a moment of pure magic, and in that instant, I knew that I had found my soul mate, although I had not thought really deeply deep about it, my instincts screamed to me that Clarissa was not somebody I would ever want to leave, Clarissa was somebody I wanted to be with for the rest of my wolf years. I wanted to lover her, and ease away the pain and the chaos that her past life had left behind — I wanted to sutureq the wounds that had refused to heal, and make sure she did not have to tiptoe around love any longer,so she could become whole again, and by whole I mean not scared.
Despite the joy we experienced, a bittersweet realization loomed over us. I had to go away soon to train with the Orhert, a responsibility I couldn’t neglect. It weighed heavily on my heart, knowing that I would have to leave Clarissa behind once again. But I also knew that this mission was crucial, not only for my pack but for the greater good. The Orhert held immense power and skill that could preserve us for ages, and it was my duty to harness that power and protect our kind.

CLARISSA:
Our days together were like a dream come true, and every moment spent with Jason felt like a precious gift. We laughed, we shared stories, and we reveled in the simple joys of being together. It was as if time had slowed down, allowing us to savor each other’s presence.

One evening, Jason surprised me with a romantic candlelit dinner at a cozy restaurant. We savored delicious food and danced to soft music playing in the background. It was an intimate and heartfelt evening, where our love enveloped us like a warm embrace.
Another day, we visited the local art museum, strolling hand in hand through the galleries, admiring the masterpieces and discussing the beauty and depth of each artwork. Our conversations were filled with passion and excitement, as we shared our perspectives and interpretations. It was a moment of intellectual connection, where our minds intertwined with our hearts.
As much as we cherished these moments, the impending separation cast a shadow over our happiness. Jason’s commitment to his pack and the responsibility to train with the Orhert beckoned him, and I couldn’t stand in the way of his duty. It was a difficult reality to accept, but I knew deep down that his mission was important and that he would return to me when the time was right.
On the eve before his departure, we sat under the starry night sky, holding each other close. Emotions swirled within me, a mix of love, longing, and apprehension. We spoke of our hopes for the future, promising to remain strong and connected despite the distance that would separate us.
With the dawn of a new day, the time came for Jason to leave. It was a tearful goodbye, filled with heartfelt promises and lingering kisses. As I watched him walk away, my heart ached, but I also knew that this was a necessary journey for him and his pack. I wished we had all the time in the world to each other, it almost felt like fairytale but one with and ending I loathed, I would have been grateful to be paused in time while we kissed, I think I loved Jason even more than I had ever imagined, it was like a colorful garden of wildflowers in my chest. It was gentle, yet impossible to be tamed that was the extent to which I fell for Jason. The night of his departure made me feel like I was being robbed, again. It took a great a amount of self-control not to bawl and beg for him to stay with me.
“J-Jason, I-“ I stuttered, choking on my own emotions.
“I know Clarissa, it’s not easy for me too. I wish I could just say I didn’t want to go and everything would be covered up, but I can’t keep hiding from my responsibilities, as much as I want to stay with you here, I can’t.” He said, coming closer to me and stroking my cheeks gently.
“I know, I know. It’s just that I’m going to miss you, and Cisca’s going to miss you and you take so long whenever when you go back to the pack, it always feels like years whenever you are away.” I said.
“I promise I’ll be back for you Clarissa, no matter what I go through or what I have to do, I’ll make sure to always be back for you.”
