Chapter 182 - Wanted by the Alpha Brothers
I ran to Noah to make sure that he was still alive, and I let out a huge sigh of relief when I saw that he was still breathing. He was bleeding and he was injured, but he was alive.
"I knew that was the only way to get you alone." Nick says from the door behind me.
I turned around slowly and stood up. I was looking for a way out, but I couldn't get out. Not with Noah. I couldn't carry him. He was too big and heavy for me to carry. I was trapped. I wasn't leaving him here alone.
"What did you do with Asher?" I asked.
"You don't need to worry about him anymore. No one does." Nick smirked at me.
"No." I screamed.
"Well, you bought them here. You knew what I was. All this blood is on your hands." He says.
"Why the hell would I ever want to have anything to do with you? Asher and Ivy are the only ones in this world that have never treated me like shit or tried to use me for my powers. I know that you were going to." I yelled as tears were falling down my face.
"Are you really crying for Asher? Why the hell would you cry for that bastard? You are half vampire." Nick says.
"I'll call myself a werewolf long before I ever call myself a vampire." I demanded. And he started to approach me.
He got close enough to me that he grabbed both of my wrists and raised my hands to look at them. But he had them facing towards me. So I couldn't get him with any fireballs.
"You are so much more special than I ever thought. I'm not going to kill you. Not physically. But I'm going to make sure that you really have nowhere else to go or anyone else to go to." He says looking down at Noah.
"Don't you dare hurt him." I growled through gritted teeth.
"You really did choose the wrong side." Nick says.
"Really? Look outside. Your precious vampires are being thrown out there for the warriors outside to take care of. As for the day walkers, they were taken out the second we got here. You're people didn't stand a chance against us." I say.
"Well, my people were weak. I'm not." Nick insisted.
"He still has weaknesses like any other vampire." Ivy said from the door.
"He has my hands." I say. And she walked into the room. And Nick looked over at her but he cocked his head when he saw her.
"You're not even here witch." Nick says.
"I'm not a witch. I'm just special. Like your daughter." Ivy says.
"The fire will kill me." I say.
"Has it killed you yet?" Ivy asked. And I thought about it. I can light myself on fire and it has never killed me. But before I had a chance to react Nick headbutted me but he held on to my wrists so I didn't go anywhere.
My head flew back and then back to the front and I felt the blood coming out of my nose and mouth.
"Don't even think about it." Nick says.
"Think about what?" I asked.
"Whatever you two are planning right in front of me. I am 400 years old. Do you really think you can trick me? I have seen everything there is to see." He yelled.
"You haven't seen us in action before." Ivy smirks at him. And then she nods at me. And I glare at Nick and the flames build up inside of me.
They burst out of my eyes and straight into Nick's face and he started screaming but he never let go of my wrists. The flames weren't coming out of my palms. I was controlling them and keeping them focused on my eyes.
He was withstanding the fire but it was hurting him. He was screaming, but he wasn't going down like the other vampires did. He wasn't letting go of me. But suddenly Noah jumped up from the ground and latched onto his torso and ripped him away from me and they crashed through the side wall of the house and fell two stories down to the ground.
"Noah." I screamed running over to the opening in the wall.
Nick's head was on fire, but he was a day walker and the flames were starting to go out. But I didn't understand how he was still alive. Noah was standing over him and he looked up at me for a second and then back at Nick.
Nick was still on the ground, his face was unrecognizable and Noah latched onto his head and ripped it clear from his body. He was then joined by another werewolf who grabbed his arm and ripped it apart from his body as well. They were tearing him apart to make sure that he was dead and that he wasn't coming back.
I then turned around and ran back downstairs and the vampires and werewolves were still fighting for control. But it didn't seem to be getting anywhere.
'All werewolves. Out of the house now.' I demanded.
The fight was still happening inside because these vampires refused to go outside. They couldn't handle the sunlight. So the werewolves fought them off and jumped out whatever opening of the house that they could.
The vampires looked confused but then saw me standing in the doorway. They started stalking closer to me with smiles on their faces like I had just sacrificed myself or some shit like that. But instead I lifted my palms and flames appeared as they were facing up.
All the vampires stopped in their tracks and looked at me with fear this time. And I shot off fireballs in all directions but not at the vampires. I was hitting every part of the house that I could.
I was backing up towards the front door letting off fireballs and setting the entire house on fire with them still in it before I got back outside. And when I turned around I saw werewolves standing around looking at me and Noah ran up to me in his wolf form and pushed me off the front stairs and got me away from the house that was on fire.
I got up from the ground where Noah pushed me and Ivy was standing right beside me.
"I'm sorry about Asher. Nick told me what he did." I say.
"Nick was lying." Ivy says looking behind us. And I turned around to see a huge black wolf standing there covered in blood.
He was injured but he was alive. Asher was alive. Nick was trying to put me off my game. That's all it was. He lied to me about Asher. I couldn't believe that Asher was right there. And I let out a breath of relief.
"It is over?" I asked.
"I really hope so. I feel like I'm getting too old for this shit." Ivy said and I chuckled. She was only 25. But I guess she's lived a lifetime already with everything that she's been through.
"Ivy. Can I ask you a question?" I asked.
"Of course you can." She says.
"Can I call you my sister?" I asked. And she looked at me and smiled.
"I'd be honored." She says.
"I really wish I could hug you right now." I say. And she laughed.
"You can when you get back home." She says.
Noah had shifted back and put some shorts on and he ran up behind me and spun me around and kissed me. He then lifted me off the ground and spun me around while kissing me.
"You did it. You did everything." Noah says.
"No. We all did it." I say.
"Come on. Let's go home." Noah says.
"That sounds like a really good idea." I say completely exhausted.
Looking around at everyone standing around watching the house burn and the vampires dead on the ground, I just knew that everything was going to be alright now. Everything was going to be fine. Maybe now I can live that happily ever after that Noah promised me. I know that he was going to do everything to make me that happy ever after. And that's all I wanted. That's what I needed. No one told me that I was no good. I actually have a family now. People that believed in me. Trust me. Loved me. It was a weird feeling to me when I first came to Ivy's pack, but it was starting to grow on me. And I was getting used to it. I loved it. It was an addictive feeling and I wasn't giving it up for anything. I wasn't giving any of my new life up for anything in the world. I was truly happy for the first time in my whole life.
