Chapter twenty five: You don't have to be jealous of her

Sophie couldn't believe what she had just heard…was Tyler trying to play a trick with her mind to think that he always loved Sophie or he was being sincere with her or maybe he was feeling bad for all the things he had done to her in the past.

“Why would you miss someone you hated so much to the extent of killing her?”Sophie said hoping that Tyler would open up to her this time around.

“I never killed her and I know no one would ever believe me…she was mate and I loved her sincerely.” Tyler said cleaning his tear and when Sophie noticed his words were taking a toll on her she stood up quickly trying to act cool.

“Its not possible Tyler…me and you know that you never loved her even the maids talked about it.” Sophie said still unable to believe a word he said.

“You won't believe so let's not talk about it.” Tyler said standing up from his previous position and hugging Sophie tightly before planting kisses on her lips.

“You don't have to be jealous of her. I am already trying to forget about her and love you more mostly because you look so much like her…. But you act very differently.” Tyler said still hugging Sophie tightly.

“What makes me different from her?”Sophie asked.

“You are braver than her, she was always a coward who was scared of standing up for herself which always hurts me… she couldn't even stand up against me despite how I tried to make her strong she was still a weak and frigail.” Tyler said as Sophie couldn't tell how she could feel because she felt sad that she never for once stand up for herself.

“If you loved her so much why did you maltreat her.”Sophie asked hoping he would answer.

“Thats a secret I can't tell her… But let's step out and give judgment to the people who tried to kill you.” Tyler said taking her hand in his As they they stepped out together only to see a huge crowd outside the palace gate.

“Go and get changed…dont be surprised at how Much the crowds are, they always want to know what happens in the palace.”Tyler said to Sophie before walking away leaving her to stare at the crowd in astonishment and as she moved closer to crowd she could how they wondered amongst themselves what had made the king suddenly think of executing someone who wasn't his Luna as they talked about how he was sad on the day of his wife execution.

Sophie watched as Catherine walked out of the halls dressed elegantlylike she wasntnthe one who tried to kill her just few hours ago.

“You just came to the palace and you are already killing people.” Catherine said to Sophie who chuckled.

“And I just came here and you tried killing me multiple times.”Sophie said now moving closer to Catherine so she could whisper what next she had to say to her.

“I know you planned to kill me but stopped because of the maids who caught and then you went to see a seer who told you how powerful I was, and now you sent your maid to finish me up or are you being so confident because i haven't told alpha Tyler how you tried to stab me just outside my room but I was careful and smart enough to dodge it.” Sophie whispered to her and walked away to get changed… people of the territory must recognize her for looking like Sophie today so she should at least dress more beautiful than ever to watch her enemies being killed.

After getting dress she stared at her reflection on the mirror and she looked perfect she kept wondering how Tyler was able to get her size so perfectly without any issues and how he always picked the right color when she heard the door knock.

“Who is there.” Sophie said and just when she is about to open the door she had another vision and this time around it was some group of men with weapons standing front of the door and when they shoot her to death that’s when Tyler should walk in but they escaped.

“Ohh my god… my death again flashing through my eyes.” Sophie said to herself before waiting…the only way to stop it from happening without them noticing she was away was stalling time…because from her vision it was obvious that Tyler would be in her quarters few minutes before her death and this was exact time she was killed which meant she needed to wait a bit longer.

The door knock came in again after the men noticed she wasn’t answering the door despite yelling she was about to attend to them, while Sophie held to the door tightly very frightened of what could happen to her next.

Just when the men started dragging the door with her she heard Tyler husk voice questioning the men and just then she felt a surge of relief flow through her.

She finally confidently open the door with a confused expression.

“Where you the one knocking earlier?” Sophie questioned the men, as they all seemed confused as this wasn't his they had planned everything to go.

“We were sent to escort you out to the executing area.” the men lied avoiding Tyler gaze as Tyler was also very confused.

“But I never sent anyone to escort Freya out… it was my job to escort her.” Tyler said walking up to Sophie holding her hands in his.

Just as Tyler was about to walk away with Sophie and not prolong the issue he noticed the weapons in the guards hands making him stop.

“You guys aren't guards of this palace.”Tyler said pointing at them as he continued to examine the weapons with his eyes.

“We are your guards alpha.” they replied nervously.

“You are not my guards And you know why..because my guards don't walk around with guns.”
