Chapter 27 I HATE YOU LILIAN

Ugh it's morning again…. Seems like we have a hell ass longer day and shorter night's.
I jerked myself up from my sweet bed and threw my pillow across the room… i know am just being dramatic but damn I hate mornings ! .
I stood up went to the bathroom and did a quick grooming of myself and freshened up… i don't wanna look like a pig.
I went to the little space I call my kitchen got some noodles ready … bro am ready to relax today … it's general public holiday, I actually forgot what the occasion is but God bless there soul.
I slurped my noodles bit by bit playfully but came to a halt when my ear itched and I heard a low sound of someone's footsteps… huh I listened attentively, it's coming to my direction… please don't be Mia !
Not long after I said that I could percieve the person's scent … but it's not like Mia that strange but the scent smells familiar…then my door sound went knock knock knock !.
I rushed to the door and said “ hold on am coming jeez”
I walked through my hall way which is quite a short distance but I have pleasure in frustrating people.
I opened the door and I was taken aback by who I saw “ whoa Jonah !”
He smiled and nugded me “ seems like you look scared didn't expect me huh, am still your friend you know “.
“ Bro shut the fuck up… c’mon in … Jonah am quite surprised that you came for real, didn't know you even knew my house address no offense there “ I said with a snort.
“ That should have hurt me low-key which it did but am gonna let it slide “ he said and slumped on my cushion with a low exhale.
I walked up to him with water and sat beside him “ Yeah whatever then I sat beside him, so what's up huh ?”
And handed him the cup of water which he took with a low thank you.
I watched him glurp down the water like he has been thirsty for long… that's weird.
“ Um, nothing's up LIlian I just I don't know… am tired “
“ Tired ! What do you mean tired, what you just said doesn't make sense “
“ You know my mom she's taking some white shit and I bet it's drug she's been taking but I just kept my suspicion low cause we haven't had any financial breakdown and she complains of headache too much “ he stopped to take a breathe and I gave him nod to go on.
“ I really thought it was Panadol you know… till these weird guys started stopping me whenever am going home from school telling me my mom was owing them huge cash and that she sold me to settle the debt “
What he said cracked me up… “ Are we in some mafia shit or what… what do you mean your mom sold you for a few couple of drugs… Jonah I thought you guys were loaded, how did she end up like that “
I watched a single tear leave his eye and he was fast to wipe “ hell if I knew am just a bad child, I didn't realize when my mom started taking shit…. Am so stupid !”
“ Hey… hey … shush … shush … it's okay you're not stupid alright, the Jonah I know is not stupid… come here” he scouted closer and I tapped his back to calm him down that's the least I could do right now.
I raised his head up and asked him just to be sure “ Hey.. should I get more water for you ?”
“ Yes please “ I stood up and went to the kitchen to get more water … Jonah looked vulnerable right now… I've never seen him like this before.
I passed the cup of water to him “ here drink up .. am gonna order some food for us okay…” he just nodded.
“ Thank you “
I sat up and decided to bring up the question bothering me “ Yeah so .. what's your next move now ?”
“ I don't know man, I gotta look for where I could squat for now cause if I should go home those people would take me … and I don't wanna follow them” he said with a whine in his vioce.
“ You know you can stay with me right, I mean you gotta work at the cafe so we could balance the bill … “
“ Really !” He said with a sparkle in his eye.
“ Yeah really .. I have an extra room and you're paying your own bills”
“ Jeez am not even in yet and you're already establishing rules “ he said and slumped back to the couch with his whole weight which made me lower my eye at him.
“ Careful how you bounce on that … that shit cost a whole bucks” he rolled his eyes at me and sat properly.
“ LIlian jokes aside I really appreciate your help man… it means alot to me “
I pushed him aside and grabbed my phone “ Stop being stupid man… I said it's okay, so what do you wanna eat let me order “
“ I want chicken wings and salad and ooh some ice - cream my throat feels sour like I haven't drank in days and some pepper ketchup and chips please, thank you “
“ And with whose money are you calling all those stuff for, bro am getting only chicken wings and some mini ice - cream… you can buy the rest when you get your allowance “ I clicked what I said and ordered.
“ You asked me actually and I answered and you don't have to be rude !”
“ Am not rude, you idiot … hey it's gonna be here just fifteen minutes “.
Few moments later …. The door bell went ding ding…
Well that's a first people mostly bang at the door…
I stood up and walked to the direction of the door “ hey let me get the door real quick, coming ! “
I opened it and it was the delivery guy, I took the stuff I ordered and gave him delivery fees and some tips.. these guys work hard they deserve it.
“ Jonah food is ready !” I heard his heart rate go up … seems like his excited for food ..
“ Woah what did you order ?” He said staring wide eyes at the food I ordered.
“ Spaghetti, meatballs with salad and a mini ice- cream” he got excited and hugged me then rushed to eat it all up… but I placed a hand at his shoulder and he stopped and turned his attention to me.
“ What !”
“ Well there's love in Sharing…you're not eating it all alone, are you ?.”
He slumped his shoulder and rolled his eye… that seems to be a habit of his “ Lilian am starting to hate you “.
