Chapter 77: The fame of the divorced female
Following Lear’s departure from her sister Sandra’s residence, Sandra returned to the house and saw Mark perusing Gwen’s social media post. The presence of his fiancée behind him astonished her. Sandra had noticed the message Mark was reading.
she remarked as she put her hands around Mark’s neck, “You seemed astounded by my appearance? I understand that letting go of divorce issues will be difficult. That is why I am here to make you feel comfortable with me. What exactly is Gwen posting over there?”
“She mentions donating the two billion dollars to charity. She wishes to appear on a television show. She is now requesting that any nonprofit group seeking her financial assistance file an application for financing.” Mark responded, and Sandra seized the iPad and read the post on her own. She was astounded by Gwen’s scheme.
“Isn’t that fantastic? She is doing well, but only for herself in order to gain public attention. What I do know is that attempting to demonstrate your worth to others is a waste of time. People will force you to be their parent. They will loathe you and show you how evil they are if they no longer benefit from you.” Sandra said this in an attempt to divert Mark’s attention away from his ex-wife’s plot. Indeed, her fiancé’s thoughts were diverted from his ex-wife scheme.
They kept scrolling through her posts until they came across one in which she posted a photo of herself with Ham and wrote, “engaged on my day of divorce. How fortunate I am.” People complimented her, and her picture quickly became popular on social media. Many nonprofit organization founders revealed their business details.
“Niska, the journalist and TV news anchor, has expressed an interest in interviewing Gwen. Let’s see when she comes on TV.” Sandra answered with her hands still wrapped over Mark’s back as she sat in the office chair.
“don’t you think you should tell Diva that you have changed your mind concerning the new broker, Manis, who you planned to make him replace Ladino?” Sandra enquired, and Mark nodded. He retrieved his iPhone from the table and dialed her number to inquire about her whereabouts.
Diva replied while chilling in the construction site’s camper, “I have made Westgate my workplace. As I speak, I am in my office, where you left me when Gwen stormed us.” she said, laughing.
“Where have my friend and daughter gone? I just miss her terribly.” She continued.
Mark responded, “She’s right next to me. She is everything to me. I mean, where else would she be happier than close to her husband? We have also fled the city, but we will not reveal our whereabouts.”
“A rich man’s life is a hectic life that no one understands. I formed a new firm and am drafting a memorandum of understanding in which we would both agree on ownership of the shopping complex. If I finish drafting it early, I’ll send it tomorrow. Also, thank you for contacting me.” Diva reacted while sitting in her office chair in the construction site caravan. Mark was concerned about agent Cruise, who had previously been close to Diva.
“Does agent Cruise still serve as your advisor? I mean, I asked because of the cataclysm he was involved in, which resulted in the deaths of my bodyguards.” When Mark inquired about agent Cruise.
Diva stated, “I have no business with him at all. He’s just a desperate parent with two empty nesters who he has to raise by spying on people. I remembered the disaster in which he stole the gas truck and then blocked the highway. Following that, an attempt was made to kidnap Donta. That night, he was with me, and his intention was to kidnap you. I chose to reject him at this point. Be careful, my lord; you are a difficult target.”
“Thank you for informing me. It’s time to watch Niska’s TV show. She is hosting my ex-wife, who is talking about donating $2 billion to the non-profit organization.” After hearing Mark’s statements, Diva looked at her bodyguard, Dwayne.
“Your wife is on TV right now. We need to keep an eye on her when she speaks in an interview with the billionaire’s ex-wife.” Since Diva had left her phone call on hold, Mark was listening while she spoke with Dwayne.
Dwayne simply nodded and asked, “Can I call my wife just to say high?” Dwayne inquired of Diva, who nodded. As a result, Dwayne exited the caravan and dialed the number for his wife, Niska, who will be conducting an interview with Gwen.
Diva proceeded to say to Mark, “Let us hope all she does does not tarnish your name. I mean, she’s obviously changed.” Mark simply said goodbye after noticing Sandra’s expression change as a result of his conversation with Diva. As a result, Diva hung up the phone. Mark then opened his laptop and navigated to the Melon TV channel, where the show will be shown. He discovered that the program had already began. Sandra sat next to Mark and watched the billionaire’s ex-wife’s interview.
Niska said to her audience, “To the nonprofit organizations, this is the day you have been praying for.” The day you want a financial blessing so that your heart’s wishes may be fulfilled. Miss Gwen, a businesswoman and investor, is my guest today. She has something to tell you.” She then turned to Gwen and smiled broadly. Due to her excitement, she struggled to talk at first. She eventually gained control of herself.
“In everything we do in life, we have ups and downs, but we eventually realize our callings.” I’m not going to go into detail about my life experiences, but all I can say is that I have only two billion dollars that I’d like to give to those who want to make a difference in their society.” She came to a halt and smiled broadly at Niska.
“We are overjoyed with this pledge. This is from God, not from man. Please tell us when you expect this money to be available in the nonprofit organizations’ accounts.” Niska inquired, speaking into the studio microphone. Diva was watching the show with her bodyguard, Dwayne, while Mark was watching with Sandra. Gwen appeared to Mark to be simply another celebrity, unlike his ex-wife he knew the best.
“Are you comfortable with the show?” Sandra inquired since she noticed Mark observing the presentation as if he was thinking about something else. He smiled and nodded as he glanced at her. As a result, they continued to watch the show as Gwen spoke.
“Right after the show. I’ve engaged an account manager who will make all of these payments to these organizations without regard for color. Keep in mind that first come, first served. Each group will be awarded a maximum of $5 million. The latecomers will be disappointed. I only have two billion dollars to share.”
Gwen and Niska urged the people to begin making submissions, saying, “we have shared the contact information for submission of the application, which will be approved right away.” As a result, people began to submit applications via the email address that the TV show management posted on the TV program’s social media channel. Sandra took out her phone to call her mother in order to make a submission for her charity organization, which was no longer in operation.
“You plan to open a nonprofit organization so that you can get donations?” Mark asked.
“My mother’s long-dormant organization never functioned. I want her to receive this divine blessing.” she said as she dialed her mother’s number.
Sandra remarked as she answered the phone, “take all your company papers and email them to the details that have been shared on social. You will receive five million dollars immediately.”
“I’ve already done it, my darling. I am currently awaiting response from the new female billionaire. Mark must be grateful to her. This is the culmination of his efforts.” Sandra gazed at Mark when her mother mentioned him.
“You are such a bright young lady. Bring me a million dollars when you’re at my residence.” Sandra giggled when she stated this.
Anne added, laughing, “Blessed are you in this day of blessings. I can only offer it to Lear, my daughter who is always in my arms. As I speak, you are in your husband’s arms. When I see this, I immediately think of my son-in-law. I’m curious how he’s doing.”
“He’s doing well, mama. Goodbye,” Sandra answered, kissing Mark and telling him, “Your mother-in-law is thinking about you.”
She even stated, “Gwen will be grateful to you because it is your hard work that allows her to give away these billions. We’re brilliant at spending but not so good at working.” She then giggled and kept watching. The show, however, was coming to an end. Gwen appeared with Niska, embracing each other.
“What have I missed now?” she questioned Mark, to which he replied, “you have missed nothing.” The show concluded. Niska appeared and began speaking.
“So far, over a five hundred nonprofit organizations have been served. We appreciate our mother, Gwen’s, financial assistance.” The interviewer and interviewee hugged before the episode finished.
