Chapter 11 Spiked Up (3)

Chapter 11 Spiked Up (3)

My head reared to the surface of the pool, struggling to pull out from the force of the water. My hands flapped frantically as my breath clung desperately for air. My lungs tightened as water sloshed through my nose, mouth, and ears.

I was beginning to sink to the low-still darkness of the pool when Jeff Sanderson jumped into the water. I caught a glimpse of him before my eyes snapped shut.

And when my eyes were opened, I was spurting water from my mouth, visibly shaken by the dread of what had just occurred.

"Rihanna, can you hear me?"

"Is she awake?"

"Anna, please wake up."

Voices buzzed around me. My head wrenched around, dazed by the eyes that peered down at me. I whimpered, clinging to Jeff who was holding me close.

"It's okay, Rihanna. I'm right here," Jeff hugged me to himself as I began to cry.

I caught a glimpse of Jennifer who had just joined the scene. She pushed past the throng of people, then stopped before us. She was puzzled by the sight of us.

"What's going on here?" She asked.

Jeff simply ignored her, held me firmly in his arms then he stood up and swirled around. "I need to get her out of here," Jeff said with a stone-colded look.

Jenny swayed slightly, shaking her head in disbelief. I couldn't tell if she was struck by the sight of us, or if she was tipsy from the drinks she drank. I pushed my face to Jeff's neck hiding my face, I felt safe right there even though he wasn't mine.

"Drop her, I can handle her." Jenny intoned.

Jeff didn't say a word, he looked over to Derrick who had hurriedly left the scene. Then he walked past Jenny leaving her confused and stupid.

"I want to go home," I said once Jeff placed me in the backseat of his car.

"I can take you home." Jeff put in, placing a dry towel around me as I shivered.

"I don't want Jenny to have funny ideas of us." I looked up at him.

We were so close. I had an instinctive urge to touch his damp hair. His breath was heavy, fanning my face. I felt my cheeks burning but I clearly wouldn't turn my face away.

"Jenny?" He laughed, pushing himself closer to look at my face. "You just care so much about your friend that you neglect yourself."

"You don't understand...,"

"I do understand, Rihanna." He interrupted me. "I'll take you home if that's what you want." He continued.

I nodded, placing my head on his chest. His hand reached around, hugging my head. My heart began to thump, and his familiar scent swirled through my nose, making me forget where I was. I wanted more. My arms twirled around him, holding him tighter as my breath ragged on.

"Are you okay?" He asked me, looking down at me.

My head frolicked to his face. "I want to stay a while with you." I heard myself say.

Jeff must have seemed surprised. He placed my head on his thighs while I situated myself into a sleeping position. Jeffery tapped the driver's seat, telling him to drive around.

"I lost my sister due to my carelessness. We'd gone fishing while we visited our granny in Ohio, our boat capsized and I couldn't swim neither could she." I started.

"I would never forgive myself. Water became my greatest enemy. I was rescued but my sister didn't survive. That's why I always find an excuse whenever Jenny wanted me to dive in with her." I continued.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as my body convulsed into jerks. Jeffery pulled me up into a sitting position, hugging me tightly.

"It was never your fault, Rihanna. You just have to let it go. Let it go, Rihanna." He rubbed my back, his hands naked on my bare back.

"I can't. Dreams about it...h...haunt me so much." My eyes had become heavy with tears.

Jeff held my face with both hands. "You're hurting yourself, Rihanna. Let it go."

I nodded, pulling his hands to my chest. I didn't know how long I'd cried but I slowly realized that my breath was hitched when his gaze matched my gaze. His looks were unmatched, although he was still damped like I was, he was indeed breathtaking. His hands ran down my arms sending shivers down my spine.

I wanted more, hoping he would read my body language. He steered his eyes away from me, his index finger brushed down the strap of my dress. My breath rose as I couldn't bring myself to look away from him.

"I find it funny that you took my advice," he smirked watching as a strap of my flowery dress fell and a sizable view of my small breasts revealed itself. My nipples hardened as his eyes fell on my mounds.

I scoffed, embarrassment flooding me. He leaned forward, pecking me lightly on my lips. I returned the kiss with a shy peck. His lips were soft, sweet, and gentle. I shoved the stern voices in my head as he introduced his tongue into my mouth.

Breathless, our tongues frolicked and waltzed to the beats of our hearts. He held me firmly, cupping my buttocks in his hands.

This is your best friend's boyfriend, the voice went on to say.

That voice only intensified the heat between us. I felt his bulge between my legs, positioned directly at the entrance of my twat. He was breathless as well, hard and strong. My hands never got tired of exploring his taunt and hard abs. I felt the other strap of my dress falling off, and his hands reached up to cup my sizable twin breasts.

I moaned as his mouth found me yet again. How could I be so hot for Jeff? I humped my hips against his groin, trying to get enough of him as he kissed the nape of my neck.

I wanted more.

"Rihanna," he groaned, stopping the kiss at intervals. But each time he stopped, my mouth would pull him into another round of kisses.

"Ann,"
he called, pressing his head in my neck. My heart tumult at the mention of my name.

I waited for his eyes to meet mine. "We're at your house." He told me.
