Chapter 29 Date with Madonna 2

Chapter 29 Date with Madonna 2
“I guess I should thank you,” he said finally, a slow smirk forming on his lips.
Madonna arched an eyebrow. “For what?”
“For always believing in me.” His hand covered hers on the table, fingers intertwining. “Even when I didn’t believe in myself.”
A rare softness passed through Madonna’s eyes, and for a moment, she said nothing. Then, she squeezed his hand. “That’s what love is, Walker.”
His heart did an unexpected lurch at her words. Love.
He had never really thought about it before—not in the deep, soul-anchoring way that people in stories did. But sitting here, with Madonna’s hand in his, he felt it. It wasn’t just attraction. It wasn’t just comfort. It was something more.
And it scared him.
But instead of pulling away, he held on tighter.
“Let’s get out of here,” he murmured, his voice lower, more certain.
Madonna’s lips curled into a playful grin. “Are you asking me on a date?”
Walker chuckled. “I thought we were already on one.”
She laughed, the sound bright and full of life. “You’re right. So where do you want to go next?”
Walker thought for a moment, then stood up, holding out his hand for her. “Anywhere. As long as it’s with you.”
Madonna took his hand without hesitation, her smile saying everything she didn’t need to say out loud. And then, they were outside, strolling toward their cars side by side, the night air crisp against their cheeks.
And just like that, he could see the future—a bright, clear path stretching ahead of them. A road paved with happiness.
"I'm so happy to date with you." Madonna said after a few moments, her eyes sparkling in the light of the streetlamps. "Do you know what my favorite part of tonight was?"
Walker grinned. "What?"
“When I got to hold your hand," she answered. "It's the little things. Like holding hands, or kissing—or dancing. I've been waiting for years to feel those things."
Walker blinked.
"Me too," he whispered, then pulled her close, his lips brushing hers. Her mouth opened underneath his, hot and sweet.
"next time I will waiting for your answer. you choose me or Vichuda. I can wait. forever." Madonna smiled softly.
"ok."
"or the way has been good for us?" Madonna asked. "you make me more confident. even if we don't have the same religion and I still crazy about Vichuda. but maybe... you're the one. the only one for me."
Walker gazed down at her, feeling the weight of her words. "I hope so."
Madonna laughed, her face lighting up. "yeah."
They walked together, Madonna leading the way, her fingers laced with his. He glanced over at her once in a while, seeing the glow of joy in her eyes, the laughter that bubbled from her lips.
And every step of the way, he hoped it would last.

Madonna> Hi, Vicky.
Vichuda> Hi, do you date with him yet?
Madonna> Yeah, I was brought new unifrom.
Vichuda> I'm jealous.
Madonna> Thanks.
Vichuda> you kiss him?
Madonna> yeah. he kiss me back.
Vichuda> Oh my, I will never lose to you, Madonna.
Madonna> well, thats my day. Vicky.
Vichuda> finally he will choose me.
Walker’s Apartment – Late Night
Walker sat on the edge of his bed, staring at his phone screen. He wasn’t looking at anything in particular—just mindlessly scrolling, lost in thought. The date with Madonna had been… perfect. Yet, her words still echoed in his mind.
“Next time, I will wait for your answer. You choose me or Vichuda.”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair.
Walker had always been careful with his emotions, never wanting to hurt anyone. But now, he was at a crossroads. Both Madonna and Vichuda had been part of his life for so long. They each held a piece of his heart in different ways.
His phone vibrated.
Vichuda: Are you awake?
He hesitated for a moment before replying.
Walker: Yeah. What’s up?
Vichuda: I just wanted to talk. Are you busy?
Walker glanced around his quiet apartment. Busy? No. Conflicted? Yes.
Walker: No, I’m free. Do you want to call?
A few seconds passed before his phone rang.
He took a deep breath before answering. "Hey, Vicky."
Vichuda’s voice was soft, almost hesitant. "Hey… So, how was your date?"
Walker smiled slightly. "It was nice. We had fun."
A pause. Then, she let out a small chuckle. "I figured. Madonna was bragging."
"Was she?" Walker chuckled, shaking his head. "Yeah, that sounds like her."
Vichuda sighed. "Walker… I’m not going to pretend this is easy for me. You know how I feel about you. And I know how Madonna feels too. But I need to know…" She hesitated. "Do you ever think about us?"
Walker closed his eyes. He had expected this question. He knew it was coming.
"Of course, I do," he admitted. "Vicky, you’re important to me. You always have been."
"Then why haven’t you chosen?" she whispered. "Why do you keep hesitating?"
Walker exhaled slowly. "Because I don’t want to hurt either of you. And because… I’m afraid of making the wrong choice."
Silence stretched between them.
Then, Vichuda spoke again, her voice steady but full of emotion.
"Walker, love isn’t about making the ‘right’ choice. It’s about following your heart. If you don’t love me the way I love you, then tell me. But if you do… don’t let fear stop you."
His chest tightened at her words. He knew she was right. But the problem wasn’t fear. It was them.
He loved both of them.
And he didn’t know if he could ever choose just one.
Walker swallowed hard, gripping his phone. "Vicky… I—"
The line suddenly cut off.
Call ended.
He frowned, pulling the phone away from his ear. Did she hang up on him? Or was it a connection issue?
Before he could call back, a new message appeared.
Vichuda: Don’t answer yet. Just think about it. Good night, Walker.
Walker stared at the screen for a long time before setting his phone down.
Think about it…
That was the problem. He had been thinking too much.
Lying back on his bed, he stared at the ceiling.
Two amazing women loved him. And he loved them.
But love was never supposed to be this complicated.
As sleep pulled him under, only one thought remained.
What if I don’t have to choose?
