Joan, on the other hand, was sober and worried, he always wanted him to be free with her just the way she is free with him. She knows there is something wrong, she was sure of that, and she really was curious and wanted to know what was going on with him.

"He has really helped me, and I don't know why he finds it hard to share his problem. Do I not worth sharing his problem with?" She breathes in and out deeply.

She saw her call again and ignored it.

"Why would he pretend to love me when he didn't love me? I won't even pick up his call not when he is ready to tell me what is going on with him, but before then I'll have to investigate myself. I will go and meet Marcus and ask him what is between him and Nathan. Is it that the same woman gave birth to them and had a different father? I still don't understand"

She left her hostel, looking for Marcus.

"Where could Marcus be" She said silently

She kept on checking around but she couldn't see. She already planned to leave when she saw Marcus with his team.

"Marcus" I called out.

"Hey you! How is your boyfriend, you didn't allow us to deal with him that day, does that mean he is a coward, and you are powerful than him, how do you cope with him"

"Enough of that, who is Nathan to you?"

"Who is he to me? Who can he be to me? Who? Ooh! He can be my dad's slave, but you see my dad's slave are better than him, or our security guards? They are far better than him"

"Marcus, Enough, who is Nathan to you"

"Who can he be to me? I don't even know him? Does he look like someone I even know? He is a low status"

"Did the same mum give birth to you two?" Immediately Marcus heard this, Marcus wanted to slap him, but Joan held his hand.

"What do you mean? How could same mum gave birth to me and that rag"

"Enough? How would you address someone as a rag? Because you are richer than him or what? You are funny, anyways be careful the way you address him"

Marcus laughed broadly and said, "So just because I left you the other day, you came here to talk to me anyhow, can't you see the level? Check the standard and check with your eyes wide open, are we the same? Same mum who gave birth to us? He said that and you could believe"

"Who are you? I mean who are you? Are you so special, I don't understand, are you not a human? Are you a superhuman or extra human I don't understand" Hearing this, Marcus got annoyed, he wanted to slap her, but Joan held his hand.

"You would slap me? You better not try that, the people you think they would help you would run from you, Marcus I am telling you and warning be careful"

"So you all are here and watching as she is talking back at me, as she is insulting me and you can do nothing? Are you all okay?" Immediately he said this, Nathan showed up.

"Whoa, so this is a pla work" Marcus was surprised.

"Joan, what are you doing here?"

"I heard the rumors you are sharing? So you wish to be in my state right? That you even felt me down the other day was your intention right? You are only jealous and wish to be in my state" Marcus said.

Joan went to meet Nathan, held his hand, and said "Let's go"

"Hey, where do you go? Today is the last day you will share rumors about my family. How dare you tell her and maybe everyone that the same mother gave birth to us?"

"How? Joan what did you tell him"

"I am sorry, you didn't want to talk to me and I just had to investigate after what I heard from that woman"

"Ooh" Nathan was disappointed. When he and Joan were walking away, Marcus kicked his leg and he fell down.

Joan punches Marcus on his left arm.

"Are you all watching to beat them up" Marcus tells his team.

After hearing this, Nathan, who was still struggling to get up, got up earlier. He doesn't know how to fight, but he sure can use his leg well, as they were coming for him and Joan he keeps kicking them, while they were falling

"Why? Can't you all fight and you are following me? Can't you all beat just these two? Go for him and beat him up before he comes for me" Marcus said hurriedly.

Marcus Team members were all on the floor struggling to get up.

"Please, don't come for me" Marcus begged.

"Why shouldn't I come for you? You told them all to beat me and my girlfriend, and you want me to leave you, how is that possible? Where is it done?"

"Do not listen to him" Joan said.

"Please, please" He begged.

"So you didn't know how to fight, but you can talk? Who are you? A son of Mayor Reddington? And what is he going to do? To leave you who have done wrong and come for us? Is that how you people do? Yeah, because you have money, so you could bribe and get what you want done, and if that is what you people do, then I should keep giving my dad kudos for being the best, regardless of your class, if you done wrong, my dad believed you should be punished for it, well, you have money and you still attended same college with those who doesn't have money, that is your choice not mine" Joan elucidated.

"Ooh… you didn't even know I was locked up because of what happened" Nathan said.

"Locked up, how?" Joan was surprised

"I was locked up in prison because of what happened the other day" He revealed.
