Joan slept and woke up and still didn't find Nathan beside her, like she thought. "Ooh, Nathan, Nathan, where are you now, why won't you come here? the guy is just my friend" She said, still on the bed, she yawned and stretched her body.

There was a sound at the door side, hoping it was Nathan, she saw her mum. "Ooh! Mum, how are you doing? Did you sleep at the hospital"

"You acted as if you were not expecting me, well, I slept in the hospital, my two children that will be leaving the hospital healthily are here, so what should I be doing at home?"

"You have things to attend to, meeting to attend and businesses to attend to, I am healthy already, and I am sure my brother will be fine soon, you do not need to worry about anything"

"You can tell that to yourself not me" Joan's mother opened the launch box and took a plate of food there, "Take" She said, as she gave her a plate of food.

"Mummy, I still haven't seen Nathan, I do not think Nathan is coming, by now, he should be here"

"Do not stress yourself about that, I am sure he will come himself"

"No mum, you don't get it, he left without saying bye, and that has never happened before, how would my friend even tell him that we are fiancee, when we are just only friend, he said we are engaged"

Her mother smiled, "He would know he was only joking"

"Why? Because I didn't look like someone who is engaged? How would he know he was only joking when he never waited to hear anything else, he left angry and mummy isn't helping the situation, if he won't come here, then definitely he would be in school, you should temper, justice with mercy go to school to help look for him"

"You mean I should go to your school and start asking where Nathan is, do you even know his other name or surname, do you know his department, I guess you two are just blindly in love and you are here to discuss about the main things, I didn't say you should not do what you want, but the main thing here is for the both of you to focus more on your study, you cross path because of school and you must take what you went to school for very important"

"Mum, you just said blindly in love, ohh, he is my friend, just my friend and nothing more"

"Nothing more and nothing more, I am not disturbing you but the most important is your study, focus on your book, that is your primary work"

"Mum, I know that for sure, mum don't you think it is good to help, I didn't even thought about it, I never think he would come searching for me, I only did that because I hate cheating, how could you just gather and beat up someone who mistakenly pushed you, you gather up with your team to beat him up"

"That is so thoughtful of you my love"

"And you can remember me talking about going to a normal school, to meet up with normal students, imagine, I made a very good decision didn't I?"

"Of course you did, we thought everything was normal, but the stubborn you went to a party to drink, well, if you had went to a school of higher status students, none can do this regardless of how close you can be with them, whose CEO'S son or daughter will think of donating a kidney to you, regardless of how close you are with them, none would allow that"

They were discussing, when someone tapped the door.

"Mum, that is Nathan, say come in"

"Come in" Joan's mother uttered, "Good Morning Son" She greeted.

"Good Morning" He greeted.

Joan pretended not to see him, she continued eating her food.

"Joan didn't you see Nathan, Nathan that you have been telling me to go and search for since, now you see him, you can't even say Hi to him"

Joan tries signaling to her, but all to no avail.

"Mummy, mum nah"

"It seems like you two have unfinished discussion, your faces can tell, I will gladly excuse these two young glowing couples"

"Mummy stop now" Joan said.

Her mother left there to meet her brother.

There was silence in the room for minutes, as neither of the two wanted to start the discussion.

"I thought you are here to say sorry, you offended me, and I was expecting lots of sorry from you"

"You offended me, not me offended you, what have I done?"

"You left without uttering any word"

"I think I shouldn't disturb couples, your fiance came to visit you and I think the best thing to do is to let you two be"

"Heyyyy... Jealousy" she said and burst into laughter.

".. I am not jealous, but don't tell me you two do not have anything together"

Joan looked sternly into Nathan's eyes and mimicked him "but don't tell me you two do not have anything together" She said and laughed broadly again.

"Do you know what Nathan? I love you and missed you, do no get angry at me again and do not ever leave without saying bye again"

"Huh"

"I am sorry, I am sorry if you do not feel the same thing but that was just what I felt I love you so much Nathan, seeing you by my side every time makes me perfect"

"I am surprised, I really do not believe you would ever tell me this, this is exactly what I wanted to say today, I have been wishing to say but I do not have the courage to say it, I really do love you Joan"
