Chapter 103 Friends

Chapter 103 Friends

I groaned, peeling my eyes open.

My mouth felt dry, my stomach growled, reminding me of the fact that I hadn't eaten.

A door opened by the right, drawing my gaze towards it.

Ronan walked out with inky a towel around his waist.

His body was wet from his shower, hair strewn over his face like a mirage.

My eyes stayed glued to him as he walked, lean muscles and sculptured body moved effortlessly towards his wardrobe, unaware of my gaze…

My mouth watered.

Stomach tightening with a hunger that had nothing to do with food.

“Sweet baby Jesus.” I whispered.

“I see you're awake.” Ronan said,

I snapped my gaze away, cheeks heating up.

“Did you look to your fill?” He teased.

I pursed my lips, “it was a bit hard not to.”

“I see…”

I glanced at him from the corner of my eye as he walked towards me.

“Sir, can you please, put on some clothes,” I begged, voice strained while I forced my eyes to stay on the bed.

“Why?”

“Why? Because I'm here obviously.”

“It's my room though.” He countered. “And besides, that's just what I was about to do.”

My eyes slid back to him, then widened as he slid the towel away from his waist.

I screeched loudly, covering my face as a new wave of blush flooded over me.

“What are you doing, sir?” I asked, voice high-pitched as I covered my face.

He chuckled lightly, “what are you doing Fenton? Have you never seen a man naked?”

I head shuffling of clothes coming from his side, but I didn't dare look.

“This case does not come close to those ones.”

“How so?”

I heard footsteps shuffling closer, I peeked from behind my fingers, then shuffled backwards at how close his face was to mine.

“Wh-what—”

He moved closer.

I stilled.

“I asked a question, Fenton.” He murmured.

I wetted my lips, his gaze dropped there… lingering for a second too long, then back to my eyes.

“You're not wearing a shirt, sir” I croaked.

“I don't think my shirt is am important factor in the conversion we're having.”

Shit.

Good lord, I was so doomed.

I was trying everything in my power to not stare at his face but each time my eyes moved lower…

God…

So this was what it meant to be stuck between a rock and a hard place.

He pulled away suddy, taking with him the intensity of the moment.

“We're going back home soon, go to your room a dn pack your things.” He said, as he wore a dark shirt.

I stood up from the bed quickly, briskly making my way to the door.

“Oh an Fenton,” he called, I paused in my tracks.

“We'll talk when we get home, okay?”

“Yes, sir.”

I pulled open the door and walked out.

I exhaled, shoulders sagging tiredly.

“Aggy?” Abel called, walking up to me.

I groaned,

“I just saw you come out from Ronan's room.”

It's too early for this shut, lord.

“We had a discussion.”

“In… his room.”

I stared at him unamused.

“It's none of your business, Abel.” I grunted, pushing past him, strolling forward.

“Ohh… someone's getting all defensive.”

“I'm not.”

“You so are…” Abel countered, walking beside me. “I haven't seen you since hours ago, what happened?”

“Nothing…” I defended.

“A grown man and a woman don't stay in the same room for hours and you say nothing happened.”

“I'm sorry not everyone is a womanizer like you.”

He grinned. “Says the person who can't stop blushing.”

I slapped my cheeks, horrified.

“You're lying.”

“I knew something happened, “ he snickered. “Come on Aggy, tell me.”

“I said, nothing happened.” I whined, walking faster.

He didn't relent though.

“Did you guys kiss?”

“Abel…” I screeched.

“I'm getting close aren't I?”

“You're just making stupid assumptions.”

“Did you guys…”

I slammed my hand over his mouth, staring at Nicole and Finley as they walked towards us.

“Aggy?” Nicole called, jogging forward.
“Marco said you were with boss.”

I glanced at Abel from the corner of my eye, as he stared at me triumphant look in his eyes.

“I think he said she was going to sleep there.” Finley commented.

“Really? Is everything alright?” Nicole asked worriedly.

Christ… Since when did Marco become so talkative?

“I'm fine actually.”

“Why are your hands on Abel's mouth?” Finley asked.

Great, another person that couldn't just turn a blind eye to puzzling things.

“Mr Callahan said we should start packing, we're going home soon.” I said.

I dropped my hands to my side as Abel shuffled away from me.

“We know that actually.” Finley stated. “I was asking why your hands were on Abel's mouth.”

I squinted my eyes at him in annoyance.

“I feel like you all should know something.” Abel shouted.

Shouted?

I glanced back to see him standing far away from us.

He grinned mischievously and I had this feeling of dread pool in my stomach.

“Don't do this, Abel.”

“Do what, Aggy?” Nicole asked.

“What is it, Abel? Spit oi out already.” Finley pressed.

“Don't say it, Abel?”

He chuckled, seeming to enjoy the attention.

“Anything he says is a lie, it did not happen—”

“Aggy…” he drawled.

“Kissed your boss.”

With the information out there, he sprinted away.

Silence…

More silence…

I wriggled my fingers together, staring at anything but them.

“Oh my God.” Nicole shrieked. “You did not.”

“I actually didn't” I muttered.

“Damn Aggy, I didn't think you had it in you.”

“We did not.” I whined, exasperated.

They both qrappyan arm around me, pulling me away.

“How was it?” Nicola asked giddily

“I'm telling you nothing happened, why won't you all believe me.”

“Come on, Abel doesn't like about things like this.” Finley countered.

“And since when did you start trusting Abel's word for it.”

“Let's not change the subject, okay?” Nicole said. “So… how was it, Aggy?”

“I only saw him naked.” I screamed.

They both stared at me, eyes and mouth, wide open in shock.

Why did I suddenly feel like I made the situation much worse.

“Wow…” Finley expressed, dazed. “It's much worse than we imagined.”

“Did you see his…” Nicole drawled.

I bolted.

“Aggy…” they both screamed, rushing after me.

And I couldn't help the small smile that broke out on my face as I glanced back at my…

Friends.
