Maddox POV
Tch, fierce. That was why I like her, she could say one thing but mean the other.
I smirked to myself as I watched her walk away, her hips swaying enticingly. She was such a feisty little thing, always trying to resist me. But I knew it was only a matter of time before she gave in completely.
As much as I enjoyed our little game of cat and mouse, I had more pressing matters to attend to. I pulled out my phone and dialed Ryan's number, putting it on speaker as I listened to it ring.
"Boss," Ryan answered gruffly after a few seconds. "We got a lead on the rat who betrayed us. Tracked him down to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town."
I felt a surge of anger at his words, my grip tightening on the phone. "Excellent. You've done well, Ryan. I want you to bring him to the basement and make sure he's still breathing when you get here, but otherwise... don't hold back."
"Understood, boss. We'll be there soon, I'll send my men to pick you up." Ryan replied before hanging up.
I pocketed my phone, a grim smile on my face as I headed towards my room, I dressed up in a casual clothes as I got aead that Ryan mentioned had arrived.
I walked towards the car, they pulled the door open bowing slightly at me. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the piece of shit who thought he could betray me and get away with it.
I got to my building, I descended into the dimly lit basement, I could hear the muffled sounds of pain and fear coming from the far corner. I approached slowly, taking in the sight of the man tied to the chair, his face already bruised and bloody.
"Ah, so this is the piece of shit who thought he could sell us out," I mused, circling the man slowly. "Not a pretty sight, is he?"
The man whimpered and tried to shrink back from me, his eyes wide with terror. "P-please, I didn't mean to... I was just trying to survive..." he begged pathetically.
Tsk, I shaked my head. "Survive? No, I don't think that's quite it. You thought you could make a quick buck off our heads and disappear into the night. But you see, I don't take kindly to betrayal, you've spied on me for so long so you should know that."
I leaned in close, my face inches from his. "I'm going to make you suffer in ways you can't even imagine. I'm going to rip you apart piece by piece until you're begging for death. And even then, I won't grant it."
The man started to sob openly, his body shaking with fear. I could smell the acrid scent of urine as he pissed himself, the liquid spreading across the concrete floor beneath him.
"Now, let's have some fun, shall we?" I grinned wickedly, rolling up my sleeves. I grabbed a pair of pliers from the tray of instruments nearby, relishing the weight of them in my hand.
I grabbed the man's hair, yanking his head back roughly. "Who sent you? Who gave you the order to betray us?" I snarled, my voice dripping with menace.
"I...I don't know! I swear!" The man whimpered, his eyes squeezed shut in terror.
"Tsk, that's a wrong answer." I gestured to Ryan, who immediately stepped forward with a wicked looking knife in hand.
The man's eyes went wide as saucers as he took in the glinting blade. "P-please, I'm telling the truth! I don't know who sent me!" he pleaded desperately.
I grabbed his chin, forcing him to look at me. "You're a dead man walking no matter what. But it would be nice to know who I need to send to hell next. So I'll ask one more time - who sent you?"
The man trembled in my grip, his breathing ragged with fear. For a moment, I thought he might hold out. But then he crumbled, the words spilling out of him in a rush.
"I...I don't know who he was! Just a man, he approached me in a bar, offered me money to spy on you! He said you'd never find out, that you were weak!"
I felt a surge of rage at his words, my hand tightening around his throat. "A man? What did he look like? Describe him to me."
The man gasped for air, his face turning red as I choked him. "He...he was tall, muscular, with dark hair and a scar on his left cheek! That's all I know, I swear!"
I released my grip on his throat, shoving him back into the chair. I turned to Ryan, my voice low and dangerous. "It should be one of Euro's men, track him down by any means necessary. I want him brought to me alive. Understood?"
Ryan nodded solemnly. "Understood, boss. We'll track him down. It won't be easy, but we'll get him." He turned to leave, barking orders to the other men as they filed out of the basement.
I picked up the knife from the tray, flipping it in my hand as I approached him again. His eyes went wide with terror as he saw me approaching him with the blade.
"I've got one more question for you," I said, my voice cold and cruel. "Where did you hide the goods you stole from us? And don't lie to me. You won't like the consequences."
The man shook his head frantically, his words tumbling out in a panicked rush. "I didn't steal anything! I swear! The man who approached me, he took care of everything! He had me spy on you, get the location of the warehouse, and then he sent his own men to take the rest of the duty!"
I felt a jolt of surprise at his words. It seemed I had underestimated Euro, he really was something, "Did he tell you his name?"
The man shook his head again, tears streaming down his face. "I don't know! I never knew his real name! He called himself.... the person who would make you crumble. That's all I know, I swear!"
"Euro? That weak underling, that's his name. I'm telling you so when you see him in hell, you won't get closer to him again. Understood?" He nodded his head with tears spilling down.
I turned back to the man, a cruel smile playing at my lips. "You've been helpful but I'm afraid your services are no longer required."
The man's eyes widened in realization, his mouth opening in a silent scream as I passed the knife to one of Ryan's men, he caught it and then, with one swift motion, he brought it down, burying it deep in his left eyes.
He convulsed for a moment, his body twitching as blood pooled beneath him. And then, finally, he went still. He pulled the knife free with a wet sucking sound, wiping it clean on his shirt.
"Clean this up," He barked to the remaining men in the room bowing down at me. "Boss, Ryan said to take you home after this." He said with his head facing down.
"Don't worry, I'm staying at the house here for the bight." I strode out of the basement, my mind was already spinning with plans to take Euro down but id course that would be after the weapons are gotten back.
