Games 018
Maddox POV

As the sun began to peek through the curtains the next morning, I woke up to the feeling of Maddie's soft body curled up against my side. Her head was resting on my chest, her arm draped across my stomach as she slept peacefully. I smiled slightly, running my fingers through her silky hair.

We had fucked each other senseless for hours last night, only stopping to recharge before going at it again. Maddie had been insatiable, begging for more and more of my cock. I had been more than happy to obliged, pounding into her tight little cunt until she was screaming my name.

I looked down at her now, admiring the way her dark lashes rested against her cheeks, the way her lips were parted slightly as she breathed softly. She looked so peaceful, so beautiful.

Carefully, I extricated myself from her embrace, not wanting to wake her. I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and headed to the bathroom, shutting the door softly behind me.

I hadn't been in the right state last night, I guess I had a split personality. I sighed.

I had several messages waiting for me, all from Ryan. "Boss, you need to come see this. We got a lead on the mole."

I frowned, quickly texting back: "Be there in 10."

I splashed some cold water on my face, trying to wake up fully before getting dressed and heading out. I took one last look at Maddie's sleeping form before quietly leaving the building, locking the door behind me.

Finn drive me to the basement and when we arrived, Ryan and the others were already waiting for me, huddled around a computer screen.

"What do we have?" I asked gruffly, stepping up behind them.

Ryan gestured to the screen, where a grainy security camera feed was playing. "We found this on the footage from the night of the shipment. See that guy over there, in the corner?"

I squinted at the screen, making out a shadowy figure in the background of the shot. "Yeah...who is he?"

"We don't know yet," Ryan replied. "But he was there at the wrong time, hanging around areas he shouldn't have been. And he's been seen around the warehouse a few times before that, when he shouldn't have been there either."

I narrowed my eyes, feeling a surge of anger. Someone had betrayed me, put my operation in jeopardy. And I was going to find out who.

"Double his security detail," I ordered sharply. "I want eyes on him 24/7 until we get to the bottom of this."

"You got it, boss," Ryan replied, already typing commands into the computer. "I've doubled his security detail. Eyes on him 24/7 until we get to the bottom of this."

I nodded, stepping away from the desk and pulling out my phone. I texted Wesley. He was one of my guys sent to spy on Euro.

"Anything new on your end?" I asked.

His response was immediate. "No, sir. Everything's quiet here. Euro's been keeping to himself, hasn't left the compound in days."

I frowned at that. It wasn't like Euro to stay cooped up like that. Something was off.

"Keep an eye on him," I ordered. "Let me know if anything changes."

"Will do, boss," Wesley replied.

I slipped my phone back into my pocket, turning back to the room. "Alright, that's all for now. Don't forget to keep me updated."

I headed back to my office. I poured myself a drink from the decanter on my desk, downing it in one go before slamming the glass back down.

I needed to keep a clear head if I was going to figure this out. I sat down at my desk, pulling up the files on all my guys. I started going through them one by one, because I needed who to send as a bodyguard to a client.

Hours passed as I pored over the files, barely noticing as the sun began to set outside. I was just starting to get frustrated when a knock sounded at the door.

"Come in," I called, not looking up from the papers strewn across my desk.

The door opened and Winnie walked in, looking fresh and put together in a tight black dress and heels. She was the daughter of my client, she had been tailing me since I accepted a job from her dad to get her a bodyguard.

She gave me a small smile as she approached.

"Rough day, huh?" she asked, sitting on the edge of my desk.

I looked up at her, feeling a twinge of irritation. "Yeah, you could say that," I replied with a sigh. "Mrs. Winnie, you don't have to check up on me, we'll get you a bodyguard, I don't fail my clients." I said in a stoic dismissing voice.

Winnie didn't seem deterred by my dismissive tone. She continued to perch on the edge of my desk, crossing her long legs in a way that made her skirt ride up dangerously high on her thighs.

"I just want to make sure you're okay," she said, reaching out to place a hand on my arm. "You've been working so hard on this, I can only imagine how stressful it must be."

I shifted uncomfortably under her touch, but didn't pull away. Winnie was a stunning woman, with long blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, and a body that seemed sculpted from marble. Too bad she wasn't up to Maddie's standard.

"I'm fine," I said shortly, trying to focus back on the papers in front of me. "I just need to find the right guy for the job. Your dad is very particular about who he wants protecting his precious daughter." I didn't care, I just use this as a facade for my job.

Winnie smirked at that, leaning in closer. "Oh, I don't know if I'd call myself 'precious'. I think Daddy just wants to keep his eye on me."

She trailed a finger down my chest, her nails digging lightly into the fabric of my shirt. "But maybe I don't want to be watched all the time. Maybe I want someone who will let me spread my wings a little..."

She licked her lips suggestively, her meaning clear. I felt my body responding but all I could picture was Maddie doing this, acting like this. I woke up from my trance and looked strictly at her.

"Mrs. Winnie, I think you better go now," I said, my voice strained. "I don't think it's appropriate for you to be here like this."

Winnie just laughed, a throaty sound that made me chuckle at how bad it sounded. "Oh come on, Maddox. You can't tell me you're not even a little bit curious. I see the way you look at me..."

She trailed off, letting her hand slide lower, grazing over my cock in my pants. I hissed through my teeth, grabbing her wrist to stop her movements.

"Winnie, stop," I said, my voice harsh and rough. "This isn't a good idea. You're my client, and I don't sleep with clients."

Winnie just pouted at me, but she stopped her advances. "Fine, fine," she said. "But don't think this is over. I always get what I want in the end." She stood up, smoothing out her skirt and tossing her hair over her shoulder. "I'll be seeing you around, Maddox. Don't forget about me."

With that, she sauntered out of the room, leaving me alone. Tch, she always gets what she wants but I do and rejects what I want.

Too bad, I wasn't one of her pawns.
