Unclear threats from Sarah
Lily's home life is going well. She was with the right person, Steve. The man who used to be her ex-boyfriend loved Lily so much that he was willing to wait for her to separate from Ryan and finally marry her.
Before Lily divorced Ryan, Steve had a premonition that one day his favorite woman would return to his lap. He was sure of it. Now, that premonition has proven to be true. Lily officially became his wife, even though she had to be of a different status.
"When are you moving permanently to Greenville?" asked Steve's mother, who had asked the same question seven times. Steve glanced at Lily, who didn't seem to care about the question about her husband. "Heh, why don't you ask?"
"There is no full authorization from the office yet.
Steve is still needed in Amarytown. Probably only three days a week in Greenville," Steve replied half-confidently at his words.
"Then don't take Lily back and forth to Amarytown Greenville. Let her stay here." Steve's mother looked sarcastically at her son's resignation. Every now and then, her son glanced at his son-in-law, who was still busy devouring his food.
"Yes. Steve won't take Lily to Amarytown for a while," Steve argued.
"It has to be in Greenville. You know how old mom is, right? Do you want her to be alone in Greenville with no one to keep her company?" She asked in a rising tone.
"Mom, don't worry. I'll stay in Greenville with you. Don't be angry with Steve." Lily tried to calm down her mother-in-law, who had started to get angry. Her angry aura began to fade as a smile spread across her cheeks.
"You shouldn't be like your husband. He's not right."
"Yes, ma'am."
In the evening, before going to bed, Lily and Steve had their first conversation before drifting off to dreamland. Both of Lily's children had been fast asleep since the afternoon. It was just Steve and Lily who were cuddling intimately with each other's bodies.
"Do what mom says. Don't resist," Lily said to Steve, to which he responded flatly.
"Yes. For the sake of you and the children too."
Lily smiled and hugged her husband again, who had slipped away earlier. She buried her head in his chest, looking for warmth there.
"Sandy called this afternoon." Lily complained.
"What did he say?"
"He said that Ryan came to his house last night. He brought baby clothes and other things. He also apologized to me." Lily shifted her sleeping position. Her face looked up at Steve's eyes, which were also fixed on her.
"So?" Steve raised his eyebrows. Lily was silent; she was hesitant to tell her husband. Seeing that Lily was a little scared, Steve asked her. "Do you have something to say?"
"Can I accept the gift?" asked Lily pleadingly.
"You may. It's a gift for his two children. Even if he wants to provide for them, that's fine too. Don't limit Ryan from seeing his children. After all, he's still your child's biological father."
Steve's answer is true. Ryan had the right to know his son, and vice versa.
Lily was relieved to hear that. She thought Steve would forbid her from accepting Ryan's gift."Next week, Sandy is going to Greenville. He said he wants to bring all the presents."
"She's on vacation?" Lily nodded. "Who do you sleep with?"
"With mom."
Steve moved restlessly to change positions. One hand released Lily's arm around his waist, making Lily misunderstand.
"You can already do the obligations of husband and wife." Lily was silent as she looked at Steve's face. There was a red tinge on his white face. "If you can't, don't."
"I can. But slowly. I'm still shy."

The state of Ryan and Lily's household is inversely proportional. If Lily is now happy, Ryan is not, and Ryan is increasingly tormented by Sarah's attitude. His wife was relentless and constantly suspected her husband, even though Ryan had never cheated on her.
Every day, Sarah monitored Ryan's movements. One day, she saw Ryan at a shopping center with Scott and his girlfriend. Sarah suspected Ryan was having an affair and pulled him from the restaurant. Scott happened to be elsewhere, and there was only Ryan and Scott's girlfriend at the time.
Luckily, Scott came and broke it up. Ryan's cousin kicked Sarah out and told her not to disturb the meeting between the three of them.
Sarah just stayed by the bedside with her face down. "I'm embarrassed, Sarah. I'm ashamed of Scott and his girlfriend."
"Isn't Scott's girlfriend Rose? Why that woman?" snapped Sarah.
"You forgot Rose's engagement ring that you stole? That's why they canceled the wedding." Ryan squinted his eyes at Sarah who looked even more shameless. Sarah even snorted when she heard Ryan bring up the engagement ring.
"She's at fault; why am I the one getting scolded? After all, it's just a normal ring. Why not buy another one? He has a lot," Sarah argued.
"Yes, Scott has a lot of money too. But it's a sacred ring that's the only one in the world," said Ryan.
"Now, I just want you to stop stalking me. Because of that incident, I almost didn't get an exclusive contract."
Ryan widened his eyes. He squinted back at Sarah."What do you mean?"
"Scott's girlfriend is a big investor. He and I were in discussions about a major investment between two companies, and you almost blew it."
Sarah smirked, making Ryan suspicious. She stood up, turned around, and invited her husband to sit on the bed. Ryan followed Nayya's wishes without suspicion.
"What do you want?" Ryan asked.
"If I find out that you're having an affair, then I will not hesitate to destroy it. Don't use the same excuse to cover up the relationship between you and the woman you're hiding," threatened Sarah.
"Go ahead. Find out if it's true." Ryan walked away, leaving Sarah screaming at him from behind. In his head, he just wanted to give something to his two children, nothing more.
