Chapter 21

Nate's POV:

I gazed at her in confusion as she went silent, looking down at her phone.

"All okay, babe?" I asked, rubbing her back and she walked away from me, rushing outside the balcony. She was scaring the fuck out of me now. We just had a magical moment and I couldn't understand why she was upset.

"Ummm...I think you should leave. I'll call you later, Nate." She spoke with no emotion in her voice and her back was facing me.

What the fuck?

"No offense, baby. But honestly, are you fucking crazy?" I asked her, pinching the bridge of my nose in frustration.

She was driving me nuts.

"Yes I am," she yelled, taking me by surprise and wiped the tear that escaped her eyes.

"What is going on? Talk to me," I asked in a soft voice, getting closer towards her and she shook her head.

"I don't know, Nate. I'm fucking lost." She broke down in front of me and I pulled her closer to my chest, hugging her tightly. I was worried she might get another panic attack and try to calm her down first.

"Shhhh, it's okay. Everything is going to be fine. If you want me to leave, I will. Just don't cry, baby. I can't see you crying." I whispered and she pulled back.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you like that. Fuck!" She took few steps back from me and let out a huge sigh, placing her hands on her hips.

"Ummm...so is that a yes? You want me to leave?" I asked in an unsure voice as I had no fucking idea what to do. I didn't want to leave. Something was obviously bothering her and I could sense it the minute I walked in but after she confessed her feelings, I assumed she was nervous because of that.

"No." She mumbled silently and sat down on the couch, throwing her head between her hands. I let out a relieved sigh and sat down next to her silently, waiting for her to speak.

"I got fired today," she blurted out, taking me off guard.

"What? Why? But...how?" I rushed out with my questions and she told me everything about what happened with the game and how it was released earlier.

"Since you had the game in your laptop, they fired you?" I asked in disbelief.

That was bullshit.

"Yeah and I couldn't defend myself. Then, I decided to find out how it was leaked and gave my laptop to my friend, Tabitha from my old company to find out. She got the IP address of the person who tried to access my laptop using some pirate app or something," she explained and paused to wipe her nose, "I gave the IP address to our company's IT department, and they just sent me an email."

"Well, who was it?" I asked as I felt the anger build up inside of me. I wanted to kill the person who was trying to ruin her career.

Why the fuck would someone do something so horrible like this?

"See for yourself," she held out her phone towards me and I took it from her hands. I saw the last email and almost dropped the phone when I saw my name with my computer's IP address.

What the hell was going on?

"Baby, I didn't do anything. I swear, I mean why the fuck would I try something like this? I don't even know how to access YouTube by getting past the company's restrictions on my computer," I started to explain and she let out a soft sigh.

"Of course, it isn't you. Someone is trying to frame you too, Nate." I stopped breathing for a second at her response.

She didn't doubt me at all.

"Oh my god! You have no idea how happy I am to know that you trust me." I replied in a shaky voice and she gave me a small smile.

"I trust you with all my life, Nate. I just hate myself for bringing you in my mess."

"Correction. Our mess. We are in this together and we are going to figure out this whole thing," I kissed her forehead and felt her relax a bit.

"I think the elevator incident was also planned. What if someone is trying to kill us or something?" She panicked and I shook my head.

"I don't think that's their motive, baby. All they want to do is to ruin your career. You were called into HR that time too remember and they let you off with a warning." She thought about it for a while and few things seemed to click.

"Why would someone do that to me? I wasn't even that bitchy to most of the people at the company," she whined, making me laugh at little.

"You were kinda bitchy to me. It could be me, darling." I gave her an evil look and she rolled her eyes.

"Yeah sure, you don't even have a lock on your phone. And you leave your computer unlocked most of the time. I would have known if it was you, Mr. Wilson." She smirked confidently and I pouted.

"And here I thought, you trusted me blindly." I faked a hurt tone, making her chuckle and that was all I needed, for her to smile always, because of me, "Wait, why didn't you tell me any of this until now?"

"Because I didn't want to ruin our night. It was supposed to be special." She groaned in frustration and I smiled at her thoughtfulness.

Could she get any better? She was fucking perfect.

"I'm going to be cheesy and say that every single moment with you is special, my love." I kissed her cheeks and she shook her head with a small smile.

"We can worry about this later. Let's get back on our date." She stood up from the couch and I copied her actions.

"Are you sure? We could sit and try to figure out this mess all night," I suggested to be helpful and she made a face.

"Seriously? All night? I would rather prefer you fucking me all night, Mr. Wilson." she smirked sexily and I had my jaw hanging to the floor.

Fuck!

"Yeah, cool. I'm okay with that too." I cleared my throat and tried to act like it was no big deal but I was already turned on.

"But only after you try everything I cooked, follow me." She grinned widely and walked towards the balcony.

"Mmmm...that's a new taste." I smiled as I kept chewing the meat. Christ, it was terrible but I didn't have the heart to tell her that.

"Fuck you, Nate. It's disgusting. How are you even eating this stuff?" she smacked my arm, making me laugh.

"Because I love you, baby girl. I told you I would even eat your burnt food, didn't I?"

"Stop being so nice." She muttered in annoyance and remained silent.

"Come on, baby. You can't be the best at everything." I tried to cheer her up.

"So are you saying that it is not the best but somewhat decent? she asked with a hopeful look in her eyes.

"Oh no, it's terrible." I chuckled, earning a hard smack from her.

"Ughhh...I hate you." She walked away from the table. I wiped my mouth quickly and ran after her. I caught her by her waist and twirled her around.

"Leave me, Nate. I'm not good at anything. I don't have a job. I don't know how to cook. My life is fucking over." She started to ramble and I kissed her lips, to shut her up.

"But you have me, baby. Even if you don't have a job, I'll take care of you and I'll cook for you." I smiled, brushing her hair away from her face, "And who said you're not good at anything? You're good at making love to me." I winked while she scrunched her face.

"Well...I...I still hate you." she stuttered, trying to hide her smile and get away from my arms but I started kissing her neck, pushing her against the nearest wall and held her arms tightly.

"You know, you have told me you hate me more times than you have told you love me," I spoke against her skin, running my hands all over her body, "But I know you love me, baby girl. Do you know how?" I asked, pushing her dress up her ass and touched her pussy over her panties.

"Oh my god!" She gasped as I buried my fingers inside her panties and touched her soaking wet pussy and rubbed her throbbing clit.

"That's how I know." I groaned against her neck as I kept fingering her mercilessly.

"Jesus, Nate. Please don't stop," she arched her back and kept squirming against my fingers.

"God, I can't believe you are all mine." I whispered, kissing down her neck and squeezed her boobs with my other hand while she buried her hands through my hair, pulling it by the roots.

"Ahhhh...I'm gonna come," she cried out in pleasure and came all over my hands quickly.

"So all night of fucking. Are you ready, Ms. Perez?" I smirked, licking my hands clean.

"Are you?" she raised her eyebrows, breathing heavily and I grinned, throwing her on my shoulders and we made our way towards her bedroom.

I couldn't help but wonder if it was possible to love someone this much.
