Chapter 887: Godmother
Chapter 887: Godmother
After breakfast, the family headed to the airport.
Freya and Albert were already waiting in the lounge.
Freya had only heard about Tiffany’s three beautiful children before, but seeing them in person today, she realized it was no exaggeration.
And definitely not Tiffany boasting.
Flora wore a lovely princess dress, her soft hair tied into a cute bun, her features resembling Tiffany’s.
The two children beside Leon looked more like him.
Seeing the family standing together, it was hard to look away.
“Freya, great to see you again!”
Tiffany stepped forward, greeting Freya with a familiar and affectionate hug.
Leon and Albert exchanged nods, a typical greeting for them.
Freya blinked and couldn’t help but say, “Tiffany, if I had known your kids were this gorgeous, I would have met them sooner.”
The trip had been planned in a rush, so Freya hadn’t had time to prepare any gifts.
She felt a bit embarrassed about it.
“But this time, I really didn’t have time to get anything for the kids.”
Seeing Freya’s slightly guilty look, Tiffany waved it off casually, her smile unwavering.
“Freya, there’s no need to be so formal.”
“We’re so close, you don’t need to worry about such small things.”
At that moment, Flora tugged on Freya’s sleeve.
She flashed a sweet smile, her face full of innocence.
“Madam, Flora and the boys don’t need gifts.”
Hearing this, Freya felt her heart melt.
“What a sweetheart.”
Barry and Sam chimed in promptly.
“We’re big kids, we don’t need gifts.”
The children’s politeness and maturity made Freya like them even more.
Her eyes lit up as she grabbed Tiffany’s arm and asked directly.
“Tiffany, if you don’t mind, can I be their Godmother?”
Everyone was taken aback by her question.
Even Tiffany seemed a bit surprised.
“You want to be their Godmother?”
Though it was Freya’s first time meeting the kids, their good manners and cuteness had won her over instantly.
Freya nodded eagerly. “Can I?”
Tiffany had no objections.
She glanced at the silent Leon and the calm Albert standing next to Freya.
“Freya, maybe you should ask Albert first?”
Albert always doted on Freya.
Whatever she wanted to do, he had no objections.
Seeing Freya look at him, Albert couldn’t help but smile and nod.
“No problem.”
“Freya can do whatever she wants.”
Satisfied with Albert’s approval, Freya looked back at Tiffany with hopeful eyes.
“Tiffany, do you mind?”
Tiffany smiled slightly. “Of course not.”
The kids didn’t mind either.
They could see that Freya was a good friend of Tiffany’s.
To avoid disappointing Freya, Tiffany added, “Freya, ultimately, it’s up to the kids.”
As Tiffany said, the kids were the main concern.
Just as Freya was about to ask, the kids exchanged glances and answered in unison.
“No problem!”
“Godmother!”
Tiffany was happy to have more people to love her kids.
Seeing the joyous scene, Tiffany smiled.
Noticing the time, Tiffany cleared her throat and reminded everyone, “We can start boarding now.”
Everyone snapped back to reality and headed to the boarding gate.
The kids stayed together, and Leon, unable to relax, followed them closely.
Seeing Freya and Tiffany deep in conversation, Albert quickly joined them to help with the kids.
In first class, Tiffany glanced at the excited children and then leaned over to Freya.
“Freya, you seem to really like kids. Have you thought about having one with Albert?”
Freya’s face turned bright red at Tiffany’s teasing. She coughed lightly, trying to stay calm.
“We’re planning to. We just haven’t set a time yet.”
Seeing Tiffany’s caring look, Freya touched her nose and explained, “But he’s been busy with work, and it’s only recently that he’s had time to spend with me.”
Hearing Tiffany and Freya’s laughter, Leon and Albert looked over simultaneously.
“What are you two so happy about?”
Seeing the concern on Leon’s face, Tiffany waved him off without hesitation.
“It’s our secret. Can’t tell you.”
Freya mirrored Tiffany’s attitude. “It’s a secret, can’t say.”
Albert was curious too, but since Tiffany and Freya wouldn’t say anything, he didn’t press.
“Alright, alright, I won’t ask.”
Friends’ conversations weren’t meant for them. After all, they were united.
Luckily, Green City wasn’t far. After a two-hour flight, they arrived at Green City’s largest airport.
Stepping out, Tiffany felt the cool breeze and looked around with a sense of wonder.
“So refreshing.”
Freya took a deep breath too. “The air here is amazing. No wonder it’s a famous tourist spot.”
As Tiffany and Freya walked ahead, Leon and Albert took on the task of looking after the kids.
Leon had arranged for a five-star hotel in advance. The hotel representative was already there.
He respectfully approached Tiffany’s group and inquired, “Are you Mr. Cooper, Leon?”
“I’m the driver sent by the hotel.”
The secretary had arranged everything perfectly.
Leon nodded calmly. “That’s me.”
Then, they all got in the car and headed to the hotel.
