Chapter 886: The Usual Good Morning Kiss

Chapter 886: The Usual Good Morning Kiss

The family sat around the dinner table, enjoying each other's company.

Tiffany looked at Leon and their well-behaved children beside them, feeling a warm wave of happiness wash over her.

A bright smile spread across her face.

“Kids, your daddy and I have a surprise for you.”

The children's heads shot up in unison, their faces filled with surprise.

They exchanged glances before turning their eyes to Tiffany and Leon.

“Mommy, tell us! What's the surprise?”

Leon calmly put down his fork, glanced at the smiling Tiffany beside him, and cleared his throat twice on purpose.

“Tiffany, don’t keep them in suspense.”

With that, Tiffany smiled gently. “Your daddy and I are taking you on a trip.”

Upon hearing this, the kids looked at each other and then burst into cheers.

“That’s awesome!”

“Yay, Mommy and Daddy!”

Seeing how happy the kids were, Tiffany gently ruffled their hair, her eyes filled with warmth.

“Since you’re all excited, go pack up. We’re leaving early tomorrow.”

The kids immediately ran upstairs to pack their bags.

Leon looked at Tiffany with a tender expression.

“Tiffany, tonight…”

Tiffany’s cheeks turned pink as she tried to maintain her composure. She coughed lightly and stood up. “The kids have never packed their own bags before. I’ll go check on them.”

In the bedroom, Flora clung to several teddy bears, unwilling to let go.

“Flora, we’re just going on a trip. You don’t need to bring so many teddy bears.”

Tiffany smiled helplessly, her eyes full of love.

Flora paused, her face showing a pitiful expression.

She lowered her eyes and nodded slightly.

“Mommy, Flora understands.”

Seeing Flora’s pouting face, Tiffany pulled her into a hug. “Since Flora loves them so much, we’ll bring them all.”

“We’ll just bring an extra suitcase.”

Tiffany never wanted to be a discouraging mother.

Especially in front of her children, Tiffany always tried to protect their pure and simple thoughts.

Flora, who had been a bit down, looked up, her big eyes sparkling.

“Mommy, you’re the best!”

Flora hugged Tiffany tightly and rubbed her little head against Tiffany’s arm.

“Mommy smells so nice.”

Tiffany smiled as she instructed Flora to pack her toys while she packed Flora’s pretty princess dresses.

The little princess loved to look beautiful, so princess dresses were a must.

By the time Flora was settled, it was already nine o’clock.

After putting Flora to bed, Tiffany checked on Sam and Barry. Leon had everything under control and was putting the boys to bed.

Peeking through the door, Tiffany felt a warmth in her heart as she watched the scene inside.

They were doing just fine.

Back in the master bedroom, Tiffany opened the packed suitcase and double-checked to make sure nothing was forgotten before taking a shower and getting ready for bed.

But Leon was nowhere to be seen.

Tiffany was getting sleepy. She lay down on the soft bed and soon fell into a deep sleep.

Unbeknownst to her, Sam and Barry were too excited about the trip to sleep.

Leon had to use some “gentle persuasion” to get them to finally lie down and sleep.

When Leon returned, he found Tiffany already fast asleep on the bed.

Seeing her peaceful and beautiful face, Leon’s expression softened. He stepped forward quietly and tucked the blanket around her.

Just looking at her made Leon feel incredibly content.

He smiled and couldn’t resist leaning down to plant a gentle kiss on Tiffany’s smooth forehead.

“Tiffany, sweet dreams.”

The next morning.

The sky was just beginning to lighten.

When Tiffany opened her eyes, she saw Leon’s handsome face close by.

She blinked and greeted him as usual.

“Good morning, Leon.”

Hearing this, Leon reached up and ruffled her hair.

“Good morning, Tiffany.”

Although Tiffany and Leon had been married for years, their relationship remained harmonious.

Tiffany stretched and was about to get up when Leon wrapped his arms around her.

He held her with a smile on his face.

“Tiffany, you seem to have forgotten our good morning kiss.”

Hearing this, Tiffany’s cheeks flushed. She reluctantly gave Leon a kiss on the cheek.

“Alright, I really need to get up now.”

“Otherwise, we’ll be late.”

Knowing they were going on a trip, the kids had all woken up early.

When Tiffany and Leon came downstairs, they found the children sitting obediently in the living room.

“Going on a trip with Mommy and Daddy is going to be so much fun!”

Sam grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Barry nodded seriously, agreeing, “It’s our first time going to Green City.”

Flora sat quietly to the side, holding her favorite teddy bear. She had followed Sam and Barry’s advice and put the rest of her teddy bears in a suitcase.

After all, her brothers had told her they could buy lots of special souvenirs in Green City, so there was no need to bring too many things.

Watching the kids chatter excitedly, Tiffany’s eyes softened with affection.

“You all woke up so early today.”

The kids giggled. “Because we’re going on a trip!”

“Daddy, Mommy, when are we leaving?”

Leon held back the eager Sam and Barry and said, “We’ll leave after breakfast!”

“But you two, don’t bother your mommy today.”

“She’s wearing a new silk dress she designed just for the trip. If it gets wrinkled, she won’t be happy.”

Leon always thought of Tiffany.

He even considered the smallest details.

Hearing Leon’s firm words, the kids nodded seriously.

“No problem!”

“We’ll be good and won’t bother Mommy.”
