Chapter 89 LXXXIX.

Chapter 89 LXXXIX.
Trisha's POV

I had no intention of going to school any time soon, not after the humiliation Isabella put me through. I even saw it on the school website. Everyone was starting to see me as someone who had completely lost her mind. I knew it was going to happen anyway. With how popular Raine and Izzy was, I was definitely going to be seen as someone mentally ill from now on.

But at the same time, I was still furious about everything that was going on. I was furious that Isabella was manipulating everyone and making everyone believe she was Izzy, thereby, ruining Izzy's reputation. I had no idea why she was doing this, but it was making me anxious.

I had tried to tell everyone the truth but somehow she manipulated everyone into thinking I was insane. Even George doesn't believe me, but I figured that was just George being George. He never wants to believe anything I say concerning Izzy because he had already labelled her a liar. It troubled me that even the whole school doesn't seem to realize that there was something different about this Izzy.

How could everyone be so dense?

I had truly underestimated just how insane Izzy's twin was. She warned me to watch out for Isabella, but even I couldn't handle her.

I thought about calling Izzy and letting her know what her sister was up to, but I was scared that if Isabella found out, she'd probably do something horrible to me again, and frankly, I didn't want to be the one to cause a riff between the two sisters.

What's her obsession with causing trouble anyway? I don't really understand

A knock suddenly came from the front door startling me out of my thoughts. My parent weren't going to be home anytime soon and they usually never knock before coming in. Also, I don't think I had any friends that would want to visit me. Well, except Izzy and George, but Izzy was out of town and George doesn't know where I live.

Curiously, I got up and walked toward the door, when I opened it, my heart nearly stopped. Isabella stood there with a bored look on her face. She was wearing a red leather jacket and red mini skirt to match.

I immediately tried to shut the door in her face. She had some nerve coming to my house. How did she even get my address?

But before the door would shut in her face, she pushed it with her hands and I stumbled back with a gasp.

"Is that anyway to treat a guest Trisha? That's just rude." She complained strolling into my house like she owns the place and shutting the door behind her.

I stared at her in disbelief. "I don't remember inviting you here Isabella. How did you know where I live, and what do you want?"

She turned around and smiled. "Some water would help. I'm a bit tasty, show some hospitality girl."

I blinked amazed by her audacity. Who does she even think she is? I use to be scared of her, but she was just another human being trying to act inferior to others. There was nothing to be scared of.

"Be serious, Isabella. If you have nothing to say, then just go home. You're the last person I want to talk to right now."

She sighed and looked at me. "Fine. I came to apologize." She paused and took in a deep breath. "What I did was wrong and I figured I should come apologize to you. You haven't been in school for days, and I got worried and a bit guilty."

I was stunned. Did she really come here to apologize to me? I squinted at her in disbelief. Knowing her, she was definitely up to something unholy. I don't trust her shit. Not one bit. "I don't believe you Isabella. If you're really sorry, then you'll have to prove it."

She raised a brow at me. "And how do I do that?"

"Confess to everyone that you're Izzy's twin sister and apologize for everything you did. Tell everyone that I'm telling the truth and I'm not insane."

Her shoulders slumped and she sighed, "sorry four eyes, but I can't do that."

I scoffed, "then you're not really sorry. Why do you want to be Izzy so much?"

She shrugged and gave me the lamest answer I've ever heard. "Because it's fun." I rolled my eyes pushing up my glasses, but she spoke again. "Okay, let's make a better deal. If you keep quiet about me not being Izzy from now on, I'll try not to ruin her reputation anymore, and I'll also help you win her over when she gets back."

My heart skipped. "W- what? What the hell do you mean by that?"

Isabella's smile widened. "Oh don't try to deny it Trisha. I know you've been in love with my sister for God knows how long. You won't try so hard to protect her reputation if you didn't worship the very ground she walks on."

I immediately looked away. "I...I don't know what you're talking about."

She laughed. "Please, don't even try to lie girl. You're terrible at it."

My cheeks heated. She was right, but how did she catch on so fast. I thought about it seriously. I've loved Izzy for so long and that accidental kiss that happened between us before she left, I still couldn't get it out of my head.

But I doubt she would ever see me as anything more but a friend. Which means, I really need that help, and who better to help me than Izzy's twin sister. The person who knows Izzy better than anyone else.

I stared at Isabella cautiously. "How would you help me?"

"I know Izzy better than anyone." She confirmed my thoughts confidently. "I know what she likes. I know what catches her attention. And I know exactly how to make her notice someone."

I hesitated. This was dangerous, but the possibility of finally getting Izzy to see me differently was difficult to resist.

"What do I have to do?" I asked trying to make sure my voice doesn't sound too eager.

"First of all," Isabella began with a smirk. "We need to take you shopping."

My eyes widened. "Izzy already got me clothes not too long ago. I don't need..."

"We are going shopping Trisha that's final. Just trust me okay?" She cut me off firmly.

I sighed and mumbled. "Okay," and that was how my strange alliance with Isabella began.

We shopped for hours and the clothes Isabella forced me to pick were the ones I would never have dreamt of wearing my whole life. Short gowns and extreme short skirts. Tight skinny jeans, and alot more clothes.

She practically manipulated me into taking them, saying that Izzy has to see the beautiful and confident woman I had become and beg for my attention. I can't believe she thinks Izzy would beg for the attention of someone like me. That's stupid. But I followed her lead anyway.

After shopping, she took me to a club wearing one of the mini skirts outfit and a strapless blouse combined with heavy makeup. I didn't look myself one bit.

"Why are we here again?" As asked nervously as we stood outside the club. I hated parties. I always have.

"Lesson two, learn how to flirt with women. It's a gay club." Isabella replied like it was the most normal thing in the world.

My eyes widened. "But I... I don't know how to flirt."

Isabella rolled her eyes. "That's the point gorgeous. You got to be in the situation to learn. Put that beautiful face of yours to good use."

With that, she pushed me gently toward the entrance. Inside, the music was loud and the room was packed. I felt completely out of place.

Isabella and I stood beside the counter drinking as her eyes roamed the club for someone I could flirt with. I was literally shaking with nerves already and I haven't even started yet.

She finally found someone and pointed toward the woman sitting on a couch alone

"Go talk to her Trisha, she looks kind of lonely. Go be a nice helpful company."

I looked towards the woman and gulped hard. She looks intimidating. Very much older than me and had on a stoic expression. But I have to admit, she's super hot.

"Are you sure this is a good idea Isabella?"

"Of course Cutie, stop being a whimp you look beautiful." She pushed me forward. "Now go get that tiger."

I swallowed nervously and walked towards the woman, trying to keep my steps straight. In a second, I was standing right in front of her and I forced myself to speak. "H...Hi."

The woman looked up confused for a second and I was mesmerized by her beautiful blue eyes. She had short blond hair and when she smiled, my heart literally skipped a bit. There was no doubt she was older than me by a decent number, but I was attracted no doubt.

"Hey beautiful, can I help you?" She spoke in a sweet voice laced with confidence and seduction. I suddenly felt hot.

I nervously played with my fingers not knowing what to say, but then I remembered how men do it in movies and blurted. "Can I buy you a drink?"

She smiled wider. "Sure thing. Would you like to sit first though?"

I nodded and settled beside her on the couch. As we fell into conversation, I slowly relaxed. The woman was surprisingly easy to talk to. She laughed at my jokes and kept smiling at me.

After a while, she leaned closer. "You're really cute you know. No one has had the courage to approach me since I got here, except you."

I blushed madly, not knowing what else to say. So I settled for. "Thanks."

"You're welcomed angel." She sipped her drink and asked. "So, are you single?"

I hesitated not sure if I should tell her the truth or if I should lie. This was going downhill fast.

"Technically." I replied slowly.

She laughed. "Technically?"

I smiled shyly. "I mean, I already like someone."

She looked confused. "Ah."

I quickly rushed to help. "You see, I'm just trying to become... I guess, cooler for her. So my friend is kind of coaching me on how to flirt and all."

The woman laughed softly. "That's actually really sweet. This friend of yours is damn lucky, and I hope things works out for you." She raised her glass and I clicked mine with hers. "Good luck getting the girl pretty."

I smiled. "Thank you."

She hesitated before adding, "And if your friend rejects you, you can always come find me. I'm always right here in this club at this very time."

I laughed nervously. "Okay. I'll keep that in mind."

After that, we said our goodbyes, and I returned to Isabella who was drinking and rejecting everyone man that approached her.

She raised an eyebrow. "Well? How did it go?"

I shrugged. "It was fine. She seemed pretty nice. She actually laughed at my lame jokes and attempts to flirt."

Isabella laughed. "That means you'll have to top up your game girl. The next one might not be that easy."

My eyes widened in alarm. "Next one? What the hell! How many women Am I going to flirt with here?"

She shrugged, "a lot until you've become an expert, but for now, you're going to need a lot more practice."

I sighed tiredly. This was going to be a very long day.
