Chapter 109:
Chapter 111:
Alley POV:
Everything was in pure chaos. They got the jump on us somehow and we needed to get this under control.
“Stephan! Help them!” I yelled as I dodged a witch.
“Rose, join me.” I whispered as I felt the familiar cracking of bones. We were becoming one. It’s not that I didn’t need her. I just stood a better chance at not getting seriously injured. I looked out into the fighting chaos and it appeared we were getting the upper hand. I spotted Pythia stalking towards her mother, a murderous look on her face. She was angry and rightfully so. Others started noticing them as well and a few witches started running towards them. Together, Rose and I lifted our hands creating a wall of fire to keep everyone back. This was Pythias fight.
“Thank you.” Pythias voice echoed in my head. I knew it wouldn’t be too long before Pythia got her hands on her. In my honest opinion it wasn’t going to be a fair fight. Pythia was a lot stronger and we all knew that. I needed to focus my attention elsewhere and help bring this mess to a halt.
“Alley! I could use some help over here!” Emma yelled through the link. I looked over to see she was being surrounded by not just witches, but wolves too. Together, Rose and I sprinted forward, pushing our legs to the max. When one wolf turn he noticed me coming and we clashed in the middle. His teeth were snapping at anything they could, his movements were erratic. The saliva that was pouring from his mouth was disgusting. I pulled my arm back and hit his side, hearing the familiar crack on bones under my fist. He went flying into the witches taking them all out. I looked back around to see Pythia and her mother were now in a full on fight. I knew Pythia wouldn’t unleash all of her power at once. Slowly people stopped to watch the fight and when they did we pounced.
I drove my fist into the ground splitting it open, watching as some of the ones who stopped to watch slowly fell into the large crack. The ground shook under my feet,
“Alley lookout!” Stephans voice boomed in my head. I turned to see what he was talking about when I was hit from the side. My body hit the ground hard and I rolled. I shook my head and looked to see a large wolf was creeping towards me. Anger surged through me as I got back to my feet. Not in the mood to entertain this, I raised my hand, pulling fire to me. With the enhancement from Rose we released all of it in a brutal force. I looked around noticing we had finally gotten the upper hand in this fight. A lot of the wolves coward in the back, not willing to fight. I could hear Ambrosia calling out to all of us, she was struggling to control her area.
I heard a loud crack of thunder and my head jerked to see that Leia and Brandon were charging our way, murderous looks in their eyes and I already knew what was about to happen. They’ve called to the wolves in Atheas realm and they’ve come to help us. It sounded like a stampede.. Stephen and the twins were at my side. Over the hill a huge amount of wolves came barreling down, Leia and Brandon shifted into their wolves plowing through anyone that was in their way. Our people stumbled backwards watching the sight before us. They started splitting in different directions and a lot of them were heading to Ambrosia.
“Help is on the way, hang tight.” I said to her through our link. I looked at Stephen and the twins, each had the same puzzling look on their faces.
“So we just stay here?” Jasper asked, I noticed they didn’t take their eyes off of Pythia.
“Yes, this will be done soon enough. Pythia needs our support.” I whispered. Even though I could hear the chaos happening around me, my eyes were glued to Pythia. I could feel the rage rolling off her in waves. She was fighting her absolute hardest, but something just wasn’t sitting right with me.
“What is her mother thinking?” I asked.
“Her thoughts are all over the place. She still has some strength stored though.” Jenson responded.
“She knows what Pythia can do. She is wondering why she hasn’t used her light yet.” Jasper added. Pythia grabbed her mother by the sides of her head and threw her through the fire wall I had placed. Her mother hit the ground hard with a loud thud before she rolled. Slowly, she raised her head and shook it before she looked around.
“She is looking for Carten.” Jasper whispered. She wouldn’t find him. He was with Athea and Lucinda safe and far away from here.
“Why?” Stephen asked.
“Because she thinks she can still use him for power.” Jenson growled out. The fight around us was coming to an end thanks to the help from Brandon, Leia and the other wolves.
“Strengthen her.” Atheas voice floated in my head. I looked at Pythia and noticed she was bruised pretty badly, she was holding her side as she stalked towards her mom. She pulled the knife that was stuck there out and tossed it to the side. I took a deep breath and with ease I sent spirit to her. I saw she took a deep breath,
“Thank you.” She whispered.
“What’s happened?” Tye asked. I looked to see he was running towards us with Ambrosia.
“She is alright, this is her fight to end.” I replied. I knew how hard it was for Tye to stand back and watch this happen, but he had to. None of us could step in.
