Part 117 a

This morning in Sydney, it's been pouring pretty heavily. The droplets drenching the smallest continent in the world have been hitting since last night. The weather forecast says it's better for folks to stay indoors. They're saying there might even be a pretty strong storm hitting. Seira's not bothered, though, about being inside this spacious unit.

Two bedrooms and a kitchen area with plenty of food stocks keep her from getting too bored. She actually makes good use of it. She spends a lot of her time doing yoga. She doesn't need a private instructor. She declined because for her, she just needs privacy. Plus, there are plenty of tutorials she can watch on YouTube channels.

Unless she's back in Senayan. Maybe the private issue with a special instructor is something she can consider. Honestly, Seira isn't too fluent in English. She can't just say yes or no! Oh God! Just remembering it makes her stomach suddenly cramp.

That's why she chooses to be alone. She only does it after her husband leaves for work. But lately, because of the pretty extreme weather, she's been a bit worried. She often tells Johan to pay close attention to Robert, including his activities that sometimes require him to leave the office.

She's prepared butter cream sandwiches and a cup of coffee for Robert. For herself, just calming chamomile tea is enough. Somehow she likes tea with this flavor. Seira looks satisfied with her work this morning. where she had to battle the tiredness that had taken over her body. The weather was so supportive that she didn't want to get out of bed. Plus, her activities last night really drained her energy.

But she can't shirk her duties.

Every praise that comes from Robert about the breakfast she serves makes her smile not fade for a moment. Especially since dinner always ends with lots of fun conversations. Seira no longer feels lonely or bored because there's no new topic to discuss. And Robert always engages her in discussions about his projects. Much deeper than their conversations before marriage.

As far as her knowledge of Robert and his work world goes, Seira knows, the guy's the serious type when it comes to his responsibilities. He says, "A lot depends on me, Seira. If I fool around? What will happen to them? Many are loyal around me and it takes time to maintain their loyalty."

That's it.

Never has what they're discussing now reached this point. Seira's smile widens as she hears her bedroom door open. A sign that her husband is done getting dressed, always carrying a tie he hasn't worn yet. He also says, "Why not make use of the wife to tie her husband's tie?" Even though Seira often picks out the right outfit for Robert. Right down to the cufflinks and tie every time they're together.

"Love?" Robert asks while buttoning his shirt. "I thought you were still asleep." Robert grins when he finds Seira already sitting at the dining table. The meal in front of his wife somehow really stimulates his appetite. "The aroma is so good."

"Hurry up. It might get cold later and not taste as good." Seira reaches out her hand. Without hesitation, he immediately accepts it. She helps her husband button up his shirt. The scent of perfume that Seira likes from all of Robert's collections. Which she deliberately chose because for her, Robert is one of a kind. Warm, full of love, she can feel his protection when she closes her eyes, and also how he treats Seira.

God. This is how Seira can fall without being able to get up again.

"Well, you're all set." She gently taps Robert's chest. She's got his Armani ready along with a coat to protect her husband from the cold wind outside.

"It seems the storm is getting worse." Robert grabs one of the pieces of bread. His eyes gaze at the balcony door, mostly made of sturdy glass. It's very obvious that it's cloudy and dark out there.

"I think so." Seira hands him the coffee. "Can't you just work here? Or is there an important file?"

"Nah, everything can be done by email."

Seira nods slowly. "Don't ask your staff to come to the office in weather like this. It's dangerous. Yesterday I saw on the news, there was a tree down."

Robert agrees with Seira's statement this time. "I'll check the situation in an hour." He immediately reaches for his phone. Looking for Johan's number and informing him of his decision. He certainly doesn't want anything bad to happen to the staff he deliberately brought in to facilitate his affairs.

Seira's smile is thinly stretched. She slowly enjoys the tea that is her part.

"Are you really not lonely when I'm working?"

Seira looks at Robert with understanding eyes. Although she has said it many times, she has plenty of activities while Robert is away, but it seems her husband doesn't believe her. "You finish your part here, Ro. I'll keep you company. If I get tired, you'll definitely hear my complaints."

"But I haven't heard you complain in a long time, Love." Robert brushes away Seira's hair that falls on her face. Tucking it behind her ear. It looks a bit red probably because the weather is getting colder.

"What do I have to complain about, Ro?" asks Seira as she turns and stares intensely at the man who is now sitting closer to her. "You fulfill everything for me. Without me having to say anything, you already know what I want." Her hand reaches out slowly. It stops right at the man's face, who hasn't shaved yet. It feels rough but Seira likes it.

A lot.

Especially when it greets most of her body's skin.

"Sometimes I miss you whining about something, Love." He gently stops the movement of her soft hand. Then brings it closer so he can kiss it with all his feelings.

"What do you mean? I never whine." Seira laughs. Her eyes squint slightly because she finds Robert's recent words very unreasonable.

"Keeping you company while shopping when I have an impromptu meeting with Djaya."

Seira bursts into laughter. "Oh my God!" She shakes her head slightly. She wants to deny it but what her husband said is true. "That's long gone, isn't it? Still being used as a reference."

"Not like that," Robert holds back his laughter on his lips. "I rarely see you whining and ending up angry at me, even though the tender I was working on was worth ten billion."

Seira scoffs. "Enough, don't remind me." She then lowers her hand slightly from Robert's face, which unfortunately, is held back by the man.

"Hey," Robert says gently. "I'm also at fault for not paying attention to you for so long. Always busy with work at the office. I should have had plenty of time."

The smile on the woman's face doesn't want to leave. "At that time, we were just filling each other, right?"

"That's your assumption. Even though it was very difficult to get your attention, I never intended to give up conquering your heart."

"Persistent."

"Yeah, well." Robert says confidently. "What I got is like this. No regrets for waiting too long."

Seira's eyes roll in annoyance but a blush starts to spread across her face. Not because of the cold but because of Robert's sweet gesture just now. "It's your work hours, isn't it? Who knows there might be a teleconference?"

Robert sighs softly. "You always manage to distract me."

"Oh?" Seira laughs lightly. "I warned you to be fully dedicated. The sooner it's done, the sooner we can return to Senayan."

"Missing Olive's chatter, to be honest. Sometimes video calls are hindered by the signal."

"Okay. I'll work now. My wife has requested it with a face that actually makes me want to do this."
