Hell is coming

Hell is coming
Sicilia

Everything went just as I had planned, in fact, it was perfect and Alpha Ken fell into my trap. I doubt he should be called an Alpha because to me he was unworthy of that title.

I had run miles {metaphorically} to come and tell Ken about my interest in joining the warriors.

'Warriors? Why are you interested in joining them? Are you sick, my dear?’ You might be thinking of asking me those questions. Well, before you judge me, listen to my reasons.

I'd thought deeply, and the only possible way I could think of getting close to Ken and his pack without raising suspicion was to join the warriors.

That way, I wouldn't be intruding on Ken's life, I would also be able to control the heart of his pack, his warriors. If I had his warriors under my command, then nothing could stop me from achieving my main goal.

When I told Ken about my interest in becoming his personal guard, I saw a hint of confusion and shock. It was like he was showing his emotions for once. I couldn't blame him though, if I was in his shoes, I would probably be confused as well.
Out of everything I could request for: {powers, money, sex, relationship}, I decided to become a warrior, like who does that?

But the truth is, I wasn't interested in all those things I had just mentioned. Powers sounded awesome, but just like Frank used to tell me, once you have a sword, you will be able to prove yourself and if you play your cards well, power, respect, wealth, and control would be at your fingertip.

“Do you know what you're saying? Being a guard is not easy, worst still, my personal guard,” Alpha Ken said, trying to change my mind, but my mind was made up.

I smirked mischievously at him, “Alpha, I don't like easy things. I prefer to go the long way,” I replied with a gentle smile. But there was nothing gentle about my smile, instead, it was filled with sarcasm and mischief.

Ken kept quiet, he seemed to be weighing his options. I didn't know what he was thinking about, but I guessed, and this was what I could come up with. 'Fine, you wouldn't make it past the trial anyways, and if you end up dead, good riddance to a stubborn lady like you!’

Yeah! I guessed right, and I grinned in response.

'Ken doesn't know what he is getting into. He thinks he can eat his cake and have it, he thinks he could kill me and go scoff-free. Well, guess what, I am back, and I don't come alone, I came with the entire crew of Hell. I have the devil's backing, and my mission is to eat your heart!’ I thought, and thinking about it made me so happy that I nearly squealed in his presence.

“Fine, I can see your determination. It's settled then! Go and get ready, you'll battle with my Beta, Victor in the trial,” Ken announced, snapping me out of my thoughts. Without waiting for my response, he pushed me out of his path and hurriedly left the room.

“Yes, I will,” I muttered, and my eyes fell on the cupcakes he ate a few hours ago. A menacing smirk settled on my lips, and I clapped my hands happily.

As I left the room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of triumph. My plan was unfolding perfectly. Joining the Warriors would give me the access I needed. And becoming Ken's personal guard? That was the cherry on top.

I would be close enough to strike, to gather information. And with Dracula and Frank's backing, I had nothing to fear. I made my way to the servant's quarters, my mind racing with strategies.

The trial with Victor would be a challenge, but I was ready. I had been training for months, honing my skills. Moreover, I wasn't trained by a mere werewolf, the Prince of Hell was my trainer, and because I had battled a lot of supernatural creatures, I had nothing to fear. In fact, I wasn't scared.

Also, I had a secret weapon. Frank's words echoed in my mind. 'A sword is only as strong as its wielder.' I smiled to myself.

My sword would soon be bathed in Ken's blood. No, not my sword…. my mouth. His heart would be in the middle of my teeth, and his blood would flow down my throat.

As I entered my room, I noticed a figure waiting for me.

"What is it again?" I said, without turning around.

"Sicilia, are you alright?" the figure asked.

I was shocked, and I turned to face the person I thought was Frank. “Clara, what are you doing here?” I asked with widened eyes.

“I came to see you,” Clara replied excitedly, and arched her brows, “Were you expecting someone else?”

I smiled. “No, of course not. I was just practicing,” I lied, hoping she wouldn't ask me what I was practicing for.

“Okay dear, I just came to greet you. Also to inform you that the pregnant lady you met in the carriage has been put to bed. Unfortunately, she didn't survive it, but the baby is hale and hearty,” Clara replied, trying to sound all right, but I could hear the pain in her voice.

I felt her pain, no, not her pain, the pain of the motherless child. Oh! That was the worst thing that could ever happen to an innocent child. Also, I felt the pain of the dead mother, she must have wished she was around to protect her child.

“I am so sorry, Clara,” I replied with a solemn voice, and Clara flashed me a smile that didn't reach her eyes.

“It's alright, I will take my leave now. I need to look after the baby,” Clara replied and hugged me. I wasn't expecting the hug and my heart froze. With each passing moment I spent with Clara and Tessa, I realized that my soft side which I thought I had buried was resurrecting.

I quickly pushed Clara away from me. “I am sorry. I just need to rest,” I lied, and Clara nodded.

“It's fine. I will take my leave now,” she assured me, took my hands in hers, and pecked my cheeks before leaving.

I was breathing really fast, and I had to sit down to catch my breath.

'No, I can't be thinking about other people. No one truly cares about me, they're all fake. Ken is my goal,” I said to myself and I turned my attention to the trial.

Victor would be tough, but I had a plan. And Ken? He would soon realize that underestimating me was his greatest mistake.

The trial would be a mere formality. For I was Sicilia, the Prince of Hell's trainee. And I would stop at nothing.

I began to prepare for the trial, my focus unwavering. I was ready. Bring it on, Victor! Bring it on, Ken! I'm coming for you. And Hell's coming with me.
