Chapter 140 Men's Words Are All Lies

Chapter 140 Men's Words Are All Lies

"Olivia, how are you feeling right now? Better? How did you rest last night? You slept well, right?"

Olivia looked at him with confusion. "I'm fine. Why are you suddenly asking this?"

Under her puzzled gaze, Charles pulled something out of his pocket.

The thing was only palm-sized, held in his hand.

At first, Olivia couldn't tell what it was, just that it looked somewhat familiar.

Then she caught sight of the lace trim showing between his fingers, and the familiar color, and suddenly realized what it was.

Her face flushed red as she reached to grab it. "Why are you still keeping this thing? Throw it away. Throw it away right now."

Charles wrapped one arm around Olivia, pulling her into his embrace, while holding the item away with his other hand. "I'm not throwing it away. This is the surprise you prepared for me. I'm keeping it forever, no matter what."

What Charles was holding was none other than the lingerie that the servant had found in Olivia's car before.

Ever since learning about the lingerie Olivia had bought, Charles had been thinking about having her wear it.

But because of his previous misunderstanding, Olivia had made a big scene, and with her injured legs and hands, there had been no opportunity.

Now that her legs had healed and they'd been getting along well lately, Charles had dug out the lingerie.

"You..."

Olivia tried to snatch it back, embarrassed.

But how could she, a woman, overpower Charles, who had survived gunfire since childhood?

After struggling for a while, not only did she fail to get the lingerie back, but she also worked up a sweat.

"Charles, what exactly do you want?!"

Olivia stamped her foot in frustration.

Charles stared at her intently. "I don't mean anything else. I just think that since the clothes were bought, they should be worn, right?"

"I won't wear it. I won't. I just won't do it. If you want someone to wear it, you wear it."

Olivia refused.

But under Charles's persistence, she reluctantly put on the lingerie he had brought out.

The lingerie had very little fabric, covering only the essential parts.

Even so, it didn't really cover those essential parts. Instead, the semi-transparent fabric made everything visible yet hidden, making Olivia look even more alluring.

Charles watched from the side, his eyes turning red.

Olivia couldn't stand his burning gaze. "I've already put it on. Can I take it off now?"

She fumbled to remove it.

Charles grabbed her wrist and suddenly pulled her into his arms.

"A woman's clothes should always be removed by a man. Don't move. Let me take it off for you."

Charles did as he said and began removing Olivia's clothes.

But he didn't use his hands—he used his mouth.

His burning lips touched her cool skin, and Olivia's entire body began to tremble uncontrollably.

But Charles showed no signs of stopping. His movements became increasingly wild as he attacked her body.

Watching her fair body lying on the bed, watching her constant trembling, he forcefully entered her body, watching her trembling grow from slight to intense.

His eyes grew even redder.

He gripped her ankles, leaning down to press against her, entering her body even deeper.

Seeing her unconsciously arch her neck, he opened his mouth and bit her throat, kissing her intensely, then slowly moving upward, finding her lips, drawing out her tongue, entangling with her recklessly, endlessly.

When everything finally ended, it was already nine o'clock the next morning.

Olivia was so exhausted she didn't want to move even a finger, her entire body limp on the soft bed.

Charles, on the other hand, was in great spirits.

He stood by the bed, looking at the naked Olivia, her body covered with the marks he had left, his heart full of happiness and satisfaction.

"Olivia, you rest well. I'm going to work."

"You..."

Olivia looked at him in disbelief.

After all that, she didn't even want to move a finger, yet he was still going to work?

Seeing her shocked expression, Charles felt even more satisfied.

The corners of his mouth curved into a contented smile as he teased, "Olivia, compared to me, your stamina is a bit lacking. But don't worry, from now on, I'll often take you to 'exercise' together."

He deliberately emphasized the word "exercise," as if afraid Olivia wouldn't understand that his so-called "exercise" meant exercising in bed.

"Go away. Leave now. I don't want to see you for the rest of the day."

Olivia turned away in anger.

Charles laughed out loud in delight.

Charles seemed to have found a new source of pleasure, making Olivia wear the lingerie she had bought every two days.

The reason it was every two days, not every day, wasn't because Charles didn't want to—it was because Olivia's voice really couldn't take it.

Going wild one night every two days was already Olivia's limit.

By the time Olivia had worn every piece of lingerie she had bought, half a month had passed.

Olivia secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Now he should stop being so crazy, right?

Unexpectedly, Charles directly took out his phone to discuss with her. "Olivia, look at these. Which ones do you like? Let's keep buying."

Olivia said nothing and got out of bed as if escaping, fleeing into the guest room she had stayed in before and locking the door.

"Olivia." Charles laughed as he followed. "Why are you running? Or do you not like any of those styles? Then, how about I find more styles for you to choose from? Tell me what kind you like, and I'll search according to what you want."

"Charles." Olivia's exasperated voice came from inside the guest room. "I don't want any. I don't want anything anymore. I just want to rest properly."

Charles laughed in delight.

He raised his hand and knocked on the door. "So that's it. If you just tell me nicely, how could I not agree? Olivia, open the door and let me in. I promise I'll just hold you while we sleep, nothing else."

"I don't believe you. Tonight I'm sleeping in the guest room. You go to sleep in the bedroom."

"Olivia, I'm used to sleeping with you. Without you by my side, I can't sleep."

"Then that means you're not tired. Since you're not tired, go work. You don't need to sleep."

The two bickered like this for quite a while.

Charles was getting tired. He looked at the tightly closed door.

"Olivia, this is Serenity Estates. I have keys to every room. If you obediently open the door and let me in, I promise I'll just hold you and do nothing else. If you don't open it, I'll get someone to bring the key to open the door, and then..."

Before he could finish, the door suddenly opened. "Charles, all you do is threaten me."

"How am I threatening you? I clearly just miss you very much."

"You... didn't you say you would just hold me while we sleep?" Olivia's dissatisfied voice came from the bedroom.

Mixed in were ambiguous moans.

"Olivia, have you ever heard the saying that men's words are all lies?"

"You..."

The rest of her words were drowned in Charles's overwhelming kisses.
