Alpha Nathan walked Into Mia's room and saw her sitting patiently waiting for him. Looking so seductive in her transparent red night gown.

"You are here, your majesty" she said, and she walked up to him.

"Yeah, you called me; you sounded so serious; what's the problem? he demanded with concern in his voice.

"I missed you, and I was expecting you to come and congratulate me" she said, smiling, and he pulled her into a hug.

"I am so proud of you" He kissed h,er forehead.

"Do you know I learned those things so that I could make you proud? Before, I wasn't really interested, but seeing an opponent trigger me and I was ready to win, and you see it'll be successful" She explained, and he nodded in agreement.

"You did well, but you should know Emma isn't your opponent; consider her your sister; you both are now blood, and we should respect our relationship." He said it, and she nodded pretentiously like she agreed.

"Okay, let's talk about us. Common" She dragged him to her inner room and made him sit down, she then sit on his lap.

"Hmmm, what are you up to, wifey? You're trying to use your charm on me again. So you dress this sexier all because of me, Right?" He asked with a bad boy look.

"Of course, and to see you like that is like winning; at least I Know how to seduce a husband." She twirled her lips in a seductive manner.

"Hmmm"he hums and she smiles, taking her lips closer to his. She pulled him into a deep kiss.

"Do you feel it? How about we go on a ride tonight? she said, and Alpha Nathan's mind went back to Emma's.

"Maybe not tonight; I have a lot to attend to." He lied; he didn't want to tell her that he was going to see Emma because he knew she was going to be dramatic about it.

"Common, the work can wait, but I can't, because I miss you" she said, keeping a strs face.

"You've got to understand, Common" he said, trying to be harsh.

"Is work more important than me? I am your wife, for goodness sake. Are you supposed to be working by this time of night? You don't even respect our union. Nevertheless, you just want to do your own thing without thinking about others." She flared up, and that got him angry, but he calmed himself down and clenched his fist on his lap.

"Why are you being dramatic? Aren't you supposed to know this union is not just for one person but for all? This is a union of three; why must I always spend time with you? Can't you just try to understand things without being told?" he said, trying to keep his voice down, but it was too harsh.

"So you wanted to go and see her, and you lied that you had some work. Is that what will be now? I thought our loyalties mattered, so why do you choose to lie instead of telling me the truth?" he demanded, her voice crackling.

"If I had told you, would you have allowed me? I. I know you are going to start acting up immediately I mention her" he flared up, his voice coming harsh as he stood on his feet.

"Really, is that what you think of me? And moreover, why would you be with her? I am also your mate" she snapped in anger.

"Mia, stop this already; why are you being selfish here? I spent the night with you yesterday night; I should be with her this night. Did I need to explain this to you before you understood? I stood her up yesterday, and I can't continue doing this. I promise her that I will come back; if I don't, she might start thinking otherwise" he explained, a bit angry.

"You think I am selfish; didn't she know you had a mate before agreeing to be in this relationship? She's not forced to be in this relationship, so she needs to understand it." She sat on the sofa angrily.

Alpha Nathan walked to Emma's room, and the door was still open. He went inside and was surprised to see she was asleep. With the way she positions herself, it seems like she slept off while waiting for him. He gulps down his lumps.

"I am sorry, Emma; I didn't mean to stand you up again." He gritted his teeth regretfully. He went closer to her and wanted to wake her up, but he kicked against the idea.

"You must be very tired after a long day; I will leave you to rest," he whispered to her ear and help her sleep, probably in the bed. He covered her with the duvet. He wanted to sleep beside her but decided an resorted to going to his room since he has some incomplete business to deal with. But at the same time, he wants her to know he's here so that she won't have an attitude like earlier on. His eyes met with the book on her table, and the idea to write a note to her so that she can see it when she wakes up stuck with him, and he quickly bought into the idea and wrote some sweet words. He took it to the nightstand and put something on it, making it so obvious for anyone to discover. He kissed her forehead before going out of the room.

Luna Mia, who followed him earlier, planning to ruin the night for them, saw him walk out and was surprised. She decided to check in. And she went into Emma's room. A sinister grin played on the corner of her lips as she saw she was fast asleep. At least she was able to delay him until she fell asleep.

"I have just started; let's watch and see how you bear his children. He will never get a chance to make love to you, trust me." She gave a rancorous laugh, gritting her teeth with her face looking so evil and manipulative. She was about to turn to leave when she saw the letter written by Alpha Nathan. She went closer and opened the letter.

"So he even wrote her a letter; whioe I've never gotten any from him? she frowned in displeased.

"GOOD MORNING, SWEETHEART, BECAUSE I KNOW IT WILL BE MORNING BY THE TIME YOU SEE MY LETTER. I AM SORRY I COULDN'T MAKE IT EARLIER, BUT WHEN I CAME, I DIDN'T WANT TO DISTURB YOU. I AM SORRY THAT I STOOD YOU UP AGAIN. PLEASE ACCEPT MY SINCERE APOLOGIES. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. YOUR SINCERELY NATHAN" She read it out loud, fuming in anger.
