Chapter 107 Chapter 107
Savannah stood at the door of their mansion, looking around with a soft smile as the maids rushed out to welcome them. The whole house seemed brighter, filled with joy. Aunty Lisa was the first to come running, waving her scarf in excitement.
“My babies are back!” she shouted, hugging Savannah tight. “Ah! Look at you! Marriage is sweeting your body already. You’re glowing!”
Savannah laughed shyly. “Aunty, you’ll make me hide.”
Adrian was standing behind them, smiling proudly. “Aunty Lisa, we missed you too.”
Aunty Lisa turned and gave him a playful slap on the arm. “Don’t ‘Aunty Lisa’ me. You didn’t even call me from that your honeymoon. I wanted to see pictures!”
Adrian laughed. “You would have disturbed us even from afar.”
Everyone burst out laughing, including the maids who stood nearby. Aunty Lisa turned to them and shouted, “What are you people looking at? Go and bring juice for my daughter and her husband! Make it chilled!”
The maids ran off quickly, giggling.
Savannah looked around the house, touching the wall like she was seeing it for the first time again. Everything felt more like home now. The flowers Adrian planted in the front yard had grown well. Liam’s laughter echoed from the living room where one of the nannies was carrying him.
“My baby!” Savannah called and quickly went inside. She collected Liam, hugging him so tight that tears filled her eyes. “I missed you, my little prince.”
Aunty Lisa smiled and looked at Adrian. “She’s gone completely soft for that boy. Don’t even try to compete.”
Adrian smiled warmly. “I don’t mind. He’s my boy too.”
Later that evening, they all sat in the living room. Aunty Lisa wouldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the wedding was and how she couldn’t stop watching the video.
“I even played it for my friends!” she said, laughing. “They said Savannah looked like a princess.”
Savannah smiled shyly. “Aunty, you’ll soon turn me into a celebrity.”
“You are already one in this house!” Aunty Lisa said proudly. “You are the queen here.”
Adrian nodded and held Savannah’s hand. “She truly is.”
Savannah looked at him with soft eyes. She still couldn’t believe this was her life now — peace, love, family. It felt too good to be true.
After dinner, Aunty Lisa left for her room, still talking as she walked away. Adrian and Savannah sat on the balcony with cups of tea. The night breeze was soft, and the stars shone brightly above them.
Adrian looked at her and smiled. “Feels good to be home, right?”
Savannah nodded. “Yes. I missed this place.”
He leaned closer. “I missed you even while you were beside me.”
She laughed softly. “You never stop saying sweet things.”
“I mean it,” he said, brushing her cheek gently. “You and Liam are everything to me. I don’t know how I lived before you came.”
Savannah smiled, her eyes shining with emotion. “I feel the same way.”
From inside the house, they could hear Aunty Lisa singing one of her funny songs about love and marriage. Adrian and Savannah laughed quietly.
“She’ll never change,” Savannah said.
Adrian smiled. “That’s why we love her.”
The night was peaceful. Liam was already asleep, the house calm. Savannah leaned her head on Adrian’s shoulder.
“I still remember the first day I stepped into this mansion,” she whispered. “I was scared and confused. Now, it’s my home.”
Adrian kissed her forehead. “And it will always be your home, Savannah. Nothing will change that.”
They sat there quietly for a while, listening to the night sounds — the crickets, the rustling trees, the soft hum of the pool.
Savannah sighed softly. “Thank you for everything, Adrian.”
He smiled and held her tighter. “No, my love. Thank you for saying yes to me.”
Inside, Aunty Lisa peeked from the window, smiling wide to herself. “Hmm,” she whispered, “this love is sweeter than honey.”
The mansion glowed that night, full of peace and happiness. For Savannah, it was more than just a house — it was the beginning of her forever.
