Chapter 105 Chapter 105
The morning sun was bright and calm. Birds sang softly outside the mansion as Savannah stood before the mirror in her white gown. Her hands shook a little as she touched her belly, now flat again after Liam’s birth. She smiled gently, her eyes filled with tears of joy.
Aunty Lisa burst into the room, talking fast as usual. “Oh my goodness! Savannah, you look like an angel. Adrian will faint when he sees you!” She clapped her hands, turning to the maids who were arranging flowers. “Hurry up! Make sure no petal is out of place. Today must be perfect!”
Savannah laughed softly. “Aunty Lisa, please calm down. Everything is already fine.”
Lisa waved her hand. “Fine? This is a royal wedding, my dear! You’re marrying my nephew, the most handsome and stubborn man alive.” She adjusted Savannah’s veil and stared at her through the mirror. “You deserve this, child. You really do.”
Savannah looked down shyly. “Thank you, aunty. I still can’t believe this is happening. It feels like a dream.”
Lisa smiled warmly. “It’s real, my dear. He loves you so much. And you—you gave him peace.”
Meanwhile, Adrian stood in another room with his best friend, Daniel. Adrian was dressed in a black tuxedo that fitted him perfectly. He kept glancing at his wristwatch, smiling nervously. Daniel noticed and laughed.
“Man, relax,” Daniel teased. “You’re acting like it’s your first date.”
Adrian chuckled. “It feels different, Daniel. I’ve been waiting for this day. She changed my life completely.”
Daniel smiled and patted his shoulder. “And you changed hers too. I’ve seen how you look at her. You’re lucky, bro.”
Adrian nodded, his eyes soft. “I know. I don’t ever want to lose her.”
Soon, the cars were ready. Aunty Lisa came running, her heels clicking on the floor. “Everyone move! The bride must not be late!” she said, waving her hands dramatically. The maids giggled, carrying flowers and ribbons.
Savannah walked out slowly, holding her bouquet of white roses. The sunlight touched her face, making her glow. A few tears rolled down her cheeks as she stepped into the car.
At the church, everything was decorated beautifully. White and gold ribbons hung from the doors, and the scent of fresh flowers filled the air. Soft music played as guests began to settle down.
When Adrian saw the car pull up, his heart skipped. His hands trembled slightly. Daniel leaned closer and whispered, “She’s here.”
Adrian turned toward the entrance. The doors opened, and there she was—Savannah, walking down the aisle, her eyes meeting his. Everything around them faded away. The crowd, the music, the noise—nothing mattered.
Aunty Lisa sniffed loudly from her seat. “Oh Lord, look at them. My babies,” she muttered, wiping tears. The maids sitting nearby giggled quietly.
Savannah reached the altar, her heart pounding fast. Adrian took her hand gently, his eyes full of love. The priest smiled and began the vows.
“Do you, Adrian Blake, take Savannah as your lawful wife?”
Adrian looked deep into her eyes. “I do. With all my heart.”
The priest turned to her. “And do you, Savannah, take Adrian as your lawful husband?”
Her lips trembled, but she smiled. “I do. I truly do.”
Everyone clapped softly as they exchanged rings. Adrian couldn’t stop smiling. He leaned close and whispered, “You’re my everything now.”
She smiled back, her eyes shining. “And you’re mine.”
When the priest said, “You may now kiss your bride,” Adrian pulled her close and kissed her softly. The guests stood, clapping and cheering. Aunty Lisa jumped up excitedly, waving her hands in the air. “That’s my nephew!” she shouted proudly.
After the ceremony, they all went to the reception hall. Music played, food was served, and laughter filled the room. Daniel gave a short speech that made everyone laugh.
“To the man who once said he’d never fall in love,” Daniel began, smirking. “Look at him now—married to the most beautiful woman in town. Adrian, you owe me dinner for keeping your secrets.”
Everyone laughed, including Savannah. Adrian pulled her close and kissed her forehead. “I love you, Mrs. Blake,” he whispered.
She blushed. “I love you too, Mr. Blake.”
Later that evening, they danced together under the soft glow of the lights. Liam was with Aunty Lisa, sleeping peacefully. Savannah looked at Adrian and said softly, “Thank you for not giving up on me.”
He smiled. “I never will.”
The night ended with fireworks lighting up the sky. Adrian held Savannah in his arms as they watched the colors sparkle above them. Everything felt perfect—peaceful, beautiful, and full of love.
It was the start of their forever.
