Chapter 65 Chapter 65
Theodore
“Please,”
“Hey, hey.” I touched her cheeks, my arm holding her back to face me.
My brows furrowed as I stared into her face, which stared into nothingness.
I looked up to the rearview mirror, and Zac was looking at me.
“Have you called Leo?”
Leo was my team’s doctor.
“Yes boss, he will be at the penthouse before us.” He turned, his gaze now on the way.
“Then, drive fast.”
I shifted my gaze to Selena. Her gaze was still the same and this time it dug at my heart.
Something uncomfortable scratched at the depth of my chest, twisting as I looked at her empty eyes.
It was uncomfortable, something I haven't felt before. Nothing had made me feel this way. Looking at her so lost.
“Please,” She muttered again, and a tear dropped from her eyes. I wiped it off, grabbing hold of her cheeks.
“I don't know what you are seeing, Selena, but you are safe now. I’m here with you, and they have been gotten rid of, so come back to me.” I rubbed her cheeks, going in circles to snap her out of whatever she was in.
“Please,” She muttered again, but this time, her eyes flicker and her gaze settled on me, then she trembled, trying to move back.
“Hey hey, it’s okay.” I held her firm, making her face me. My jacket fell off her, pulled down by the movement.
“Please please.” She pleaded again, her gaze unstable, tears flowing down from her eyes.
What has she been to? What had turned her this way? How was it related to her being kidnapped?
Or had they done something to her before I arrived? What could they have done?
I moved to clench my fingers, but held back. My hands were on Selena.
“I’ll never hurt you,” I whispered, confused, anxious, clueless about what to do.
I freed my left hand and picked up the jacket, wrapping it around her, I pulled her to my chest, and rubbed her back, trying to ease her as she sobbed.
She was in pain. Too much pain. One that I couldn't end, one that I couldn't kill and destroy.
I could only stroke her back and wait for her to come back to me, then I’ll protect her.
Slowly, her tears ceased, and then I heard her say something, but I couldn't comprehend it, till she opened her mouth again.
“Take me,” She muttered against my skin, sending shivers down the depths of my bones.
It was that request again.
A request I had usually submitted to without being asked, yet I couldn’t give in.
I rubbed down her hair, licking my lips.
Fuck, I didn't know what to do. She was in pain, so much pain, one that I could feel from how her heart beat against mine. Yet the first thing she asked for was that?
Why? What did she see? What had she been to?
“Please take me,” She muttered again, this time clinging to my body, her body pressing to mine. I pressed her head to my neck, rubbing her back.
Wetness covered my shoulder, her sobs filling the space.
“It hurt.” She murmured again, and my heart broke. “Please take me,” She started to move, and I loosened my grip on her. She faced me, her face covered with tears.
“Please do me a favour and take me. I..I know you want it too, so please.”
She stared deep into my eyes.
“Why? Why do you want me to take you, Selena?” Now my hands rubbed at her lower back, hoping to soothe her.
She suddenly drew to herself, her hands which she had placed on my chest, fell to rest on my legs. Her gaze shifted, watering as she looked behind me.
“I want it to stop,” Her gaze focused back on me. “He won’t stop reaching for me, I could feel his hands touching me. He won’t stop no matter how I plead.” She wet her lips with her tongue.
A he.
So there was someone. Who was he? What had he done to her? When? How badly was it that she could still feel it?
“Take me, Theodore. Please, take me. I feel like it’s never going to stop. It won’t, so please,” She pleaded, this time her hands met my chest, Her eyes were desperate as she looked at me.
She was conscious, yet she wasn't. Her request was a decision she would regret when she woke, when she was back to normal.
I reached for her face, and she rubbed her cheek against my palm.
“I can take you right here and now,” I trailed her lower
Lips with my finger, cleaning off the blood which I hadn't been aware of earlier.
“But you need to do something, Selena,” Her eyes stilled as she looked at me.
I shouldn't bring this up, but I needed something from her, something only she could give.
“Just like I said Selena, be mine and everything will be yours, including..”
She searched my eyes, opening her mouth to say something, only to close it back.
She wasn't going to give in. I could tell from how disappointed she was. But she didn't say anything, she drew closer to me, and her head rested on my shoulder.
Slowly, I heard the sound of her breathing, both hands still on my chest.
It seemed I was wrong, Selena wasn't fully conscious,
