Chapter 31 Chapter 31
Theodore
“Boss, they are on their way. The boys found her at a club.” Zac informed.
I could see him out of the corner of my eye, but I didn't look at him.
I couldn’t. The only thing I could see was the video of Selena on my phone in her office.
“Hm,” I hummed, placing my hand on my chin as I watched her sign a document. Her gaze focused on the paper. She was dedicated. Her focus is unwavering.
“Boss, who is that? I’ve never seen her before,”
Selena yawned, then she stood up and moved to the other side. I assumed that was the bathroom because it was the only space I didn’t place a camera in.
Now I’ll have to wait for her to come out. I sighed. Placing the phone on my lap.
Zac's phone beeped. “Boss, they are here.” He announced, and the door opened to two of my men holding a lady, her head bent to the floor.
She was drunk.
“We have arrived, boss,” They drew her to the floor.
I turned my eyes to my phone. Selena was back, she sat on the couch, her body relaxed as she pressed her phone, Her lips curled into a little smile. It wasn't obvious but I could see the line on her face.
My eyes moved down to her legs, which crossed each other.
Slim, smooth, soft.
The brown skirt fitted her perfectly.
When she entered my room this morning, my eyes had drawn to it before she ran away. She was flustered.
I wanted to see her more, but Ethan had suddenly called, making me leave the office. And when I came back, she was already ready to leave.
Then, she hesitated when I asked her to come to me.
I was waiting for her to ignore my message, and leave, but she had knocked on my door.
From her reaction, Selena was a virgin.
I could tell by how her eyes widened when I spoke of her not being experienced. Plus she didn’t want to wear the dress.
So innocent. She was too innocent for her body. But I was glad. That means Noah never had her. No one has, because she was meant to be mine.
I had waited for her to return the key, but it seemed she had forgotten.
I wasn’t going to return her car. She was my woman now, and soon I would claim her fully when she agrees to be my muse.
Water thrashed and I raised my head to look at them. Valeria’s head is brought out of the water inside a bowl. She coughed loudly, water pouring from her mouth.
With a final look at Selena’s face, I dropped the phone.
“Where am I?” She yelled, her eyes taking in the environment and finally it stopped at me. Her eyes widened, and then her body weakened.
Terror. She was scared.
Her eyes moved, looking around her.
What was going through her mind? I wanted to know.
“Bo.ss,” She crawled towards me. “Boss please, what is going on?” Her voice shook.
But she got it all wrong. Crawling to me when I wasn’t her savior.
I lean back.
“Where do you think you are?” I asked and she locked her eyes on mine.
“I…I don’t know. I just..” She held her head, trying to remember something. “I was at a party and then..and then,” She turned around to my men.
“Someone..someone in a black suit gave me a drink. I thought he was interested in me, and took it and then..”She hit her head, then looked up. “I don’t know what happened next. Please boss, save me, save me from these men.” She moved closer to me, and I let her.
“Hm, I should, after all, you are my employee.”
Her eyes lit up, and her face broke into a smile.
“I heard you like me, Valeria.” I dropped the highlight.
Her eyes widened, and her face crept into redness.
She bit her lips. “Though I’ll never try to come close to you with my feelings, I do like you.” She answered shyly and I smiled.
“So, what do you think of me?”
“Is the boss seriously asking that? Everyone wants you, you are the perfect man. Wealthy, untouchable, handsome, and your build…,” She crawled closer to me, my hands touching my feet.
“Who wouldn't want you, boss? Even Selena does. If she didn’t, she wouldn't dare go closer to you.” Her eyes narrowed..
It was true. I leaned closer to her, and that only made her smile more.
“So, what did you do to her?”
“Who?” She asked. Her eyes were dimming. She wanted to sleep more, the alcohol was still in her system.
“What did you do today to Selena?” I grabbed her head and she moaned, drawing closer to me.
After Selena left, I searched. It was so obvious that she was hit, the handprint visible on her face.
“I…I, that bitch had suddenly pissed me off, acting all cocky though she was nothing.” She looked at me, her eyes teary.
“Just because she was able to get close to you, she kept flaunting it, so I slapped her to make her know her place. Where she truly belongs.”
“Hm,” I looked up to my boys and they moved to her, dragging her back to the bowl.
“Boss, boss, what are you doing to me!” she yelled, thrashing. But they knew not to leave her.
The party was soon. I shouldn’t keep Selena waiting.
They kept pushing her head inside the water, all her attempts to speak breaking off, weeping sounds mixed with water pouring on the floor.
“I’ll make this quick after all, I have a date with Selena.”
They brought her out of the water, her eyes red, her body shivering.
“Hit yourself.”
Her eyes widened. “Please..” She trembled, tears flowing from her eyes.
I sat back. “You hit Selena, you shouldn’t have.”
She nodded, her body trembling. “I shouldn’t, I’m sorry. I’ll never.”
“Of course you won’t. But you will pay for the print on her face. Hit yourself till I ask you to stop.”
She bit her lips, tears flowing.
I shifted my gaze from her face to my phone and played one from my collection of Selena.
Now. Selena lies on the couch, and slowly her eyes close.
Soon, the sounds of Valarie hitting herself echoed in the room
