Chapter 201 Chapter 201
Theodore
“I thought you wanted me to bring them to you. Why did you still follow me?” Ethan asked through the rearview mirror.
I stared at the building. It was old and weak, and according to Ethan last night, the club hardly had customers but recently it was booming.
“I figured it would make Selena happy if I handled it myself.”
Ethan rolled his eyes. Last night in Selena’s hospital room, I had sat in silence watching over her after driving Joshua away.
A place like it shouldn't be lively after what it caused Selena. I should stay with Selena, but I wanted nothing more than to let them beg for mercy at the tip of my finger.
Ethan sighed. “You are really going to meet everyone that did her wrong?”
“When they are gone, she won't have to worry anymore.”
He nodded. “We should go inside now.” I stepped down from the car and then we entered the building.
“Why is there no business today? No one is coming in.” A manly voice spoke hoarsely.
“Maybe your evil deal is finally catching up with you. This place is evil and should have burned down years ago.” Another voice said. A woman. “Too bad, we have a customer.”
I stepped inside.
Looking around, it was a normal old club. Only that it wasn't just normal.
I looked at the two people. The man scanned me, maybe wondering why I was here, while the female smiled.
“Aren't these important people that we have in our midst? I’m Agnia, the manager of this place which has refused to fall apart, and by my side is the owner.”
“Who did it?” I asked.
“Who did what?” The owner asked, looking confused.
“Are you here to collect scores? Am I finally witnessing the fall of this place?” The woman gasped, smiling.
“Selena, or should I say Ynessia?”
Their eyes widened.
“That bitch, I knew her fate was bound to the rich. If only she had stayed here, then my club wouldn't be like this! Are you her new master? Did she do anything wrong to you and now you are here to scold us for not teaching her right?”
“Ynessia.” The woman scanned me then Ethan, her eyes narrowing. “Master?” She shook her head. “I had wished she had a great life after I freed her. Turns out she is just like me. Poor soul.”
One had a good memory of Selena while the other was outraged.
I needed to keep it in. The anger, and how much I wanted to blow their brains off. But there was one more person.
The one who forced himself on Selena.
“Have you ever done anything wrong to Selena?” I turned to the man.
He sat down, crossing his legs. “Business was good before that bitch left. After my major sponsor went crazy, even Agnai couldn't satisfy him, so he blocked the other sponsors with a threat that I find her. If only I knew where she stayed. The brother’s school won't let me in and somehow he was well protected.” He turned to the lady.
“All because of you!” He yelled at the woman and she rolled her eyes.
“And I have paid for it, didn't I? I have been the one in charge of everything in this club. Every single man you bring, I take care of them.”
The man stood up, his eyes blaring red. “If you didn't free all the girls I had, and make sure no women came here, then I won't have to deal with your old self!” He yelled. But she only laughed, then she turned to me.
“I don't know what Selena did to you, but you have to forgive her. She is a good lady.”
So that was it.
I turned to Ethan and he nodded then brought out his gun. They both screamed and fell to their knees.
“Please forgive. Please forgive.” They begged.
Coming here, I was ready to set this place on fire. But looking at the woman, she could go. Leaving her should get enough goodwill for Selena.
“I will ask you one more time. Who did you give Selena to?” I asked both of them.
“I…please dont kill me, I really can't tell you. He is someone big in society, and would come for me and my business later. Please have mercy.” He bowed his head, crying and that stirred something in me.
I took the gun from Ethan and fired at his back. The agonising scream of his should be a delight to me. But it wasn't.
“I’ll tell you, but promise not to hurt my family. I only have a brother.” The lady spoke boldly and I nodded.
“After Selena left, he kept coming here and demanding her. Though I had submitted myself so he would forget her, he threatened to find her….If Selena is truly with you, then it’s only right I tell you. His name is Theodore Vargas. The Vargas family, he has only one son named Noah Theodore. This was all I was able to find, but you should know that they are no ordinary family.”
My hands clenched tightly around the gun in my hand.
That bastard.
How dare he date Selena after what his father did? After his father defiled her. Just like his father, he was cruel. His heart dirty.
I was going to kill him, fucking skin both of them alive.
But before then, I was going to settle scores with the one who gave Selena to him. I turned to Ethan.
“Get it ready.”
Ethan nodded.
I pointed the gun at the man, and his eyes widened. “Please don't kill me.”
The woman suddenly raised her hand. “Can you let me make the final shot? I would love to kill him for you.” She smiled.
“You fucking bitch! I knew a day would—”
I nodded at her to meet me, then I gave her the gun.
“His legs,” I said.
“Thank you.” She pointed the gun at him, then fired at his left leg.
“That’s for all the girls you brought here and treated them badly.”
Again she fired.
“That’s for how you treated my brother after I wanted to leave.” She shot again on the same leg.
“That’s for every girl who trusted you, yet you betrayed them by giving them away because of money.”
I should be hearing his scream but I couldn't hear anything. I could only see him lying on the floor. Pain stretching through his being.
“It's ready, let's leave now,” Ethan said from behind.
“It is okay if you want to kill me, but please send my regards to Ynessa, tell her I’m sorry for not saving her earlier than I did.”
I turned away from her and followed after Ethan but then I stopped.
Gathering goodwill for Selena was letting the woman go.
I turned to her. “Leave the building in five minutes. The building will collapse.” I looked at the one on the floor, who was groaning in pain.
“Don't help him.”
With that, I stepped out of the building.
