Fifty Five

After the two of them ate, they thought about walking in the square. Dionne was hugging her arms because of the very cold weather. She was so excited to go on a date with Lennox that she didn't even have a chance to bring a jacket for her to wear. Her coolness just disappeared when Lennox put his arms around her and put one of his hands on her waist.

It's good to love when the man she loves is this kind. While they were walking, she just looked at the people she saw in the whole square, there were many couples on a date and there were families laughing and eating.

But she stopped when she saw a man sitting not far away with a chubby woman and two children, a boy and a girl.

Even though it had been a long time since they had seen each other, he would never forget her appearance. It has a mustache now and has matured. He no longer felt pain in the depths of his heart when he saw her.

"Are you okay?" Lennox asked and he followed her gaze.

"Of course. My ex-boyfriend is here," Dionne answered.

Lennox immediately got what he meant.

"Where is that? Is that the man you're looking at?" asked Lennox.

"Yes," she answered sparingly.

"How do you feel?" it asked.

"Nothing. Do I need to feel something? If it's anger, it's gone. If it's love, even more so. You're the one I love," he answered with a smile.

When he looked at Lennox, his smile was wide. As if satisfied with his answer. That's the truth and he won't lie about it. And she didn't acknowledge Noah as the father of her baby because he wasn't there when she needed him the most. His only role in her life is ex-boyfriend.

"Thank you very much," said Lennox.

"You're welcome," he replied with a smile and kissed her on the lips.

Right near them there was someone to sit so Lennox took him there. He's not affected so it's okay. When their eyes met, he swallowed and looked at the female companion who was not beautiful, even the children. He grinned at the thought that this might be the woman who replaced him. Apart from not being pretty, it's also fat.

He was not informed before that these were the girls that Noah wanted.

"Hi, Noah. Long time no see? Are they your family?" she asked smiling.

Reluctance for Noah to speak because he is obviously guilty of what was done to her before, but he is just more afraid of what she might say. But she doesn't know how to take revenge and destroy the family. She is happy in her life now with Denise and Lennox. She didn't want Lennox to get jealous if she brought up their past in front of this woman. It's a waste of time to do it.

"Yes I am and this is our children," the woman answered with a smile.

While Noah just bowed quietly. He couldn't look directly at her. But he didn't care about that.

"Wow. Good for you, Noah. We used to be office mates, Miss. And I'm happy that he has a family," said Dionne.

"That's right. Is that true love?" the woman asked Noah.

"Yes. He's the one I mentioned to you before," Noah answered with a hesitant smile.

He wondered what Noah had mentioned to this woman, but that was no longer important to him.

"Nice to meet you. And who is this with you?" asked the woman.

Dionne still held Lennox's hand. She can shout to the whole world that she loves this man in front of the man she once loved.

"He's my husband and we have a child together," Dionne answered with a smile and looked at Lennox.

He knew Lennox was taken aback by what he said but it was true and he saw Noah's reaction. It seems confused.

He smiled mentally. She had no plans to tell him that she continued her previous pregnancy with their child. Because he doesn't want him to be a father who is too irresponsible. He can take care of his child with someone else but he left the first one.

"Congratulations. I'm happy for you," said the woman.

"Okay. We're leaving," Dionne said goodbye and didn't look back at them.

While Lennox was surprised by what Dionne said to the ex-boyfriend's wife. And he doesn't feel anything strange about Dionne's words that seem to make her ex-boyfriend jealous. And he is happy because he is Denise's daddy and not that man.

It's beautiful when it's a night like this in the city because there are many different kinds of lights that can be seen in the area. He only found out about this now because he doesn't like to go out. He was so busy in life that he didn't think to unwind.

"Your ex-lover already has a two children," he said with a smile.

"Yes. But it's obvious that he's afraid that the two of us will meet because of what I'll say to his wife. I don't have a plan to tell everyone that he will became my ex-boyfriend once. I didn’t felt proud of it. All I wanted to do is to tell everyone that I have you,” Dionne answered that make him giggle.

This woman is so sweet and he is to know that she already move on with her past that’s not need to remember. After he saw Dionne’s ex-love, he can tell that the man is not so man enough, so disgusting to know about it. But the important things is Dionne is him and he can be the father of Denise from then until now.

“Are you sleepy?” Lennox asked.

“Not yet. Let’s enjoy this moment,” Dionne replied.

“Okay. Thank you for giving this chance of a lifetime to me. I promise that I will love you for the rest of my life together with our baby,” Lennox said.
