Thirty Seven

"Baby Denise is sleeping soundly. It's so good to be young," Dionne said smiling when they were at home.

"Yes. No problem. Just eat and sleep the usual routine. I thought about the taste that can't be grown up," Lennox answered with a smile.

They are in the living room now because they just arrived. He noticed Dionne's phone ringing.

"Ayesha called, I'll just answer it first," Dionne said goodbye to her but she didn't leave her side.

"Okay," Lennox replied sparingly.

"Why, Ayesha?" he heard Dionne ask.

There was a loudspeaker so he could hear the conversation between the two.

"I miss you. Can we see each other?" Ayesha answered on the other line.

"Of course. Maybe later we just arrived from the hospital. Lennox and I slept there because it was the night shift," said Dionne.

"Okay," Ayesha answered then hung up.

"Why?" asked Lennox.

"I think I want to meet. But it was not said that there was a problem. Maybe we'll go shopping," Dionne answered.

"Just leave Denise to me. I'm not wandering around now, I'm just here at home," said Lennox.

“Really? I'm ashamed of you," he said with a smile, kissing the tip of her nose.

Lennox was stunned and unable to move. He was confused as to whether the two of them were still friends but was very restrained to not ruin their friendship.

"Do not be shy. We are family here," he answered, even though he felt awkward.

But he couldn't hold back his feelings when Dionne's mouth opened. So he immediately pulled her and kissed her on the lips torridly, to feel the taste of their kiss, he inserted his tongue into Dionne's open mouth. Even though the woman was surprised, she didn't protest, instead, she put both of her hands on his neck and kissed him back. Their kiss lasted for several minutes before it was interrupted when Dionne suddenly stood up and went up the stairs.

While Dionne's chest was pounding with excitement. Why did he think to kiss Lennox on the nose so he kissed him on the lips torridly? He quickly got dressed and carried his sling bag and left the house. He was surprised by what Lennox did so he couldn't think straight. He was not able to say goodbye to Denise because he was confused by what happened. When he arrived in the city, he immediately called Ayesha to find out where she is now. He waited for a while because he was still at home.

"Are you okay?" he asked his friend when he saw that he was lethargic.

"Yes," he replied sparingly.

Now the two of them will enter the mall. He doesn't want to buy anything here so he just goes with Ayesha.

"Why are you lethargic? Are you pregnant?” he asked.

"Not at all. It's really sad because the house is quiet. I missed the presence of you and Denise. Who is watching over her now?” said Ayesha.

"I left it to Lennox for a while, he has nothing to do today. Are you going to buy something?” Dionne asked.

"We will buy a lot. My treat, I miss the conversation between the two of us. I'm crying because of sadness," Ayesha answered.

"Me too. I'm sorry I was so busy that I didn't think to visit you. But I will visit from time to time. We don't talk anymore but we are still friends," he said with a smile.

"Silly. Of course. That will not change no matter where fate takes us. No matter what we get in life, we will still be friends," Ayesha answered with a smile.

Soon they entered the mall together. And he just followed while she was choosing clothes. This is the one who chose the clothes for him so he didn't whine. They also spent some time before they went out. Carrying many paper bags, they both left the mall at the same time. The second place they went to was the massage center.

"Didn't Kiley massage you?" Dionne asked with a laugh.

"No. He's giving me body pain. That's why I need a massage now. Did Lennox give you a massage?" Ayesha's opening.

So she immediately slapped Ayesha on the arm. And they both laughed together. He also had a massage to relieve her body fatigue. It's good that the masseuses are pure women so it's not scary. Because when it's a man, he really won't agree. They reached the massage center at noon. So the next thing they went to was a salon and spa.

"Are you going to do your hair?" Dionne asked.

"Both of us. What color do you want your hair to be?' answered Ayesha.

"I don't know," he replied sparingly.

"You also need a makeover so you don't get tired of life. It's not like you have a child, you don't need to pamper yourself," Ayesha said with a smile.

"Yes, of course. But I will be ashamed of you. I still owe you a lot that I haven't paid yet,” Dionne replied.

"Am I charging a debt?" Ayesha asked making him laugh.

So they started entering the salon. The gays take care of them. She thought of dyeing her hair because she didn't have to pay anything, the only thing missing was her willingness. He tried to make his hair blonde and even bonded it. When he looked at himself in the mirror he was stunned by his appearance because he was so beautiful. She shook her head when she thought that Noah had left her. She didn't even think twice about doing that to hurt her and leave her pregnant.

Their last destination was the restaurant. She was hungry the whole day they made two. Their few months of not seeing each other were worth it because of what they did today. Dionne was very hungry as if she hadn't eaten in months. Because what they did was tiring but fulfilling. She miss Ayesha so much, because everything is not the same when they are in the same roof. Talking in the middle of the night.
