Chapter 326
After sending that, she quickly sent another: “I’m blocking you. My brother’s lawyer will contact you about the subsequent equity transfer and asset division.”
After sending it, she blocked him without hesitation!
His phone number too!
This kind of meaningless conversation should never happen between them again!
Shower, sleep!
The next day after breakfast, Robert went with Lucille to the holistic health clinic. Lucille also brought her grandma along, wanting the alternative medicine doctor to see how to best help her grandma’s body recover.
After arriving at the holistic health clinic, Lucille had them see her grandma first.
Her grandma was very weak, so Mary Quill advised against any aggressive supplements. She didn’t prescribe any medication, only recommending some nutritional supplements suitable for her grandma’s current condition and telling her to keep up with her exercises.
After hearing this, Grandma smiled and said to her and Robert, “I told you I’m fine. You two worry too much.”
How could they not worry?
Her grandmother was the most important person to Lucille; she had taken care of her as a child, and now that Lucille was grown, it was her turn to care for her grandmother through her later years. How could she let anything happen to her?
Then, Mary examined her foot.
Mary acknowledged her progress over the past month, but it was so minimal it was almost negligible. At this rate of recovery, there was no telling what the final outcome would be.
Hearing this, both Robert and her grandmother’s expressions grew heavy.
But it was Lucille who was taking it well. “It’s okay!
I’m used to it. It doesn’t really affect my life, and life is more than just dancing. There are so many

other things I can do.”

When they left the holistic health clinic, Robert had Lucille and their grandmother get in the car first, while he went back to find Mary
About twenty minutes later, he came out of the clinic and smiled at Lucille. “It’s nothing. I just discussed the treatment plan with Mary again. We’re still in Seaston for another month, right?
This month, we’ll come for acupuncture and proper rehabilitation every day. Let’s see how effective it is.”
Lucille didn’t actually have much confidence, but seeing the hopeful looks in her grandmother’s and Robert’s eyes, she couldn’t bear to disappoint them, especially her grandmother, so she smiled and said, “Okay.”
From then on, Lucille’s life became very routine, basically just going back and forth between the holistic health clinic and home every day.
A week later, Robert told her it was time to go and officially handle the stock transfer with
Cedrick
He went with her himself.
What he didn’t tell Lucille was that if his lawyer hadn’t kept pushing, Cedrick would have tried to delay it even longer!
Actually, what Lucille had to do was simple. Robert had surely already vetted all the various documents and transfer agreements for her. All she had to do was go and sign.
So, she was practically in and out in a flash.
From the moment she appeared to the moment she finished signing, she was only in front of Cedrick for a short while, and she barely spoke. Anything that needed to be said, Robert said for her
As soon as the paperwork was done, Lucille turned to leave. Cedrick chased after her, but almost ran into a human wall.
He looked up and saw Robert blocking the way between them.
Cedrick was frustrated. “Robert…”
“Don’t call me that. I don’t have a brother.”
Robert said coldly, “As agreed, just transfer the money to Lucille’s account within the specified

time. If there’s anything else, contact the lawyer.”

Seeing Lucille about to go downstairs, Cedrick became anxious and angry. “Don’t forget, I haven’t divorced Lucille yet. There’s a Mandatory Divorce Cooling–off Period. I can back out at any time!”
“That’s fine.”
