He and the door locked, the rest of the papers was on his hand as he stared at me.
“I- you could not bare the fact that I didn’t want to tell you the truth, because your papa always tells you everything.” He said cutting me off
I only made him angry. I know I would be pissed if someone asked me about my life, things that happened and I didn’t want yo share it, but at the end of the day, they go behind my back to try and find out what I am hiding? I know I would not be happy and I am not forgiving anytime soon, I guess I messed up, I made a huge mistake.
“I am sorry, I know you will say I don’t mean if but I fucking do, I just wanted to know what’s going on , I wanted to know how to fix things, how to fix things an make you hate me less.”
“You thought it would be a good idea for you to snoop and find out what I could be doing with my life and the things that happened in the past.” He asked and I didn’t dare
I could not even look at him because how how horrible that I felt, I didn’t even know what to say, how to say it or how to behave, I know I messed up.

His eyes were on mine, waiting for me to utter the words, I didn’t want to admit it but things have changed after I found out the truth.
“When he dies, I am all alone and I don’t want that, I know we are nothing to each other but if I get married to you like he wants me to, not only would he feel safe when he dies, my family will never take what doesn’t belong to them, my family will be sad and that will make me happy.”
“Then why do you want to run and leave, leave the mafia to me.”
“Because papa would have wanted you to lead and you will respect him enough not to let anyone he hates come toward his mafia, he has worked for his whole life for this and you will honor it.” I stated
I hated to admit it, but he is the one that should lead, I can’t lead, I can barely handle blood or violence, I didn’t have it in me to be able to lead anyone, or anything, and they will eat me alive if that’s the case.
“Say something Adrian, yell at me for trying to find out about your past, yell at me for even talking about your family in that manner, yell at me for trying to always make things about me when I should have apologized a long time ago and I didn’t.” I stated.

He is a good man, maybe that’s why papa likes him so much, he is kind, that’s why papa thinks he could be good for me, he is filled with emotions maybe that’s why papa feels like I need to be close to someone like him.
“Are you going to tell him you found me here?.” I asked.
“No, but what do I get in return, when I met your father for the fits time, he told me, you wanted to lead, but he could never let you do that because he is scared of losing you, he hated to leave the mafia only to you, he could have have other kids but he didn’t.”
“He knew I will hate him if he moved on form mama and slept with another woman.” I whispered, I could ever forgive him for doing that, he knew I would never ever speak to him after that.
“I won’t tell your papa what you did, you will never ask me about my past or try to find out about in, in return, you belong to me.”
“What does that mean?.” I breathed out.
“You don’t leave even after every thing ends until I say so.” He said and my breath hitches
He could tell papa, he will be broken, he would never trust me again, if there is one thing papa never forgives is disloyalty, he hates it when you can’t be loyal to him, after everything he has done.
“Why would you want me to stay?.”
“You want to be a part of the mafia, I will make you a part of the mafia, I will show you parts that your father always hides from you, in return you stay with me, you do as I say and I will protect you, think about it, if you leave Elara, your family will find you because they know if you are dead without an heir, I return to being nothing to the mafia because I am not bonded to you anymore, your father loses at the end.”
