Chapter 122
“What do you mean no one was up there?” Liam asks in a dark tone as Josh runs past them up the stairs.

He finds their bedroom and the boys’ room empty.

“LIAM.” He yells down the stairs.

Liam and Ralph come running in.

“Where are they?” Liam asks.

Just then Josh’s phone rings.

“It’s Allie.”

‘Baby, where are you?’

There is static on the phone and the sound of kids crying. Josh puts the phone on speaker.

‘Where are you taking us?’

‘To your cells. Everyone needs to give you what you deserve.’ Comes a gruff voice. ‘Shut those brats up.’

Josh and Liam take off running down to the cells.

‘Everyone to the cells now. The Luna and our heirs are in trouble.’

They get to the door of the cells just about 20 guards come rushing in behind them. They all come down the stairs to a scene of a man holding Allie by the neck about to slit her throat. She is holding the twins and cannot do anything. Sebastian and Gabriel are clutching her legs.

Liam and Josh both see red and head straight to the man. Mason and Eric come from behind him.

There are screams from Allie and all the kids as the guys all run to them. She tries to lean back into the man so his claws won’t cut her while still trying to protect the boys.

Everything happens so fast. Liam grabs the man’s hand and pulls it away from Allie. Josh surrounds Allie and all the kids rolling out of his hold then Mason tackles the guy while Eric makes sure all the kids and Allie are with Josh.

Josh holds Allie up with the twins so they don’t fall. Eric makes sure Sebastian and Gabriel are okay. Eric and Josh rush them away from the man and the people in the cells.

Liam holds the man down by the neck and Mason stands back making sure that he won’t get away.

Everyone in the cells is trying to break out so Josh and Eric rush Allie and the kids all upstairs to the safe room. After getting Bella and Clarissa into the room they lock them all in and then rush back to the cells.

As they make it to the cells, there is shouting and the sounds of fighting. There are claws and teeth clashing together as they come down the stairs.

They run and jump into the fight as they hit the bottom of the steps.

It doesn’t take long until all the guards, Josh, Liam, Mason, and Eric have everyone killed. They are all covered blood and fur as they survey the damage.

“Everyone alright?” Liam calls.

“Yes, Alpha.” Is said back throughout the cells.

“Anyone need medical attention?” Josh asks.

There is only silence of everyone looking around.

“Let’s get this cleaned up and then we need to make sure the rest of the pack is safe.” Liam says.

With everyone working together, it only takes them about 20 minutes to get the bodies out to the burn pile and the cells rinsed out.

Liam and Josh head out of the cells to make sure the bodies are burned. They then head to check on everyone throughout the pack.

‘Is everyone safe? Anyone need anything?’ Liam links the whole pack.

‘All good Alpha.’ Is linked back several times.

‘We have a bunch of bodies behind the training grounds Alpha.’ Kurt one of the guards links back.

Josh takes off that direction with Mason to light that pile on file to burn the bodies.

After they make sure all bodies are burned Josh, Liam, Mason, and Eric all head back to the packhouse. They hurry up and shower before heading to the alpha safe room to get their women and the boys out.

Liam opens the door once the four of them are at the door waiting.

Josh and Mason rush into the room as soon as it’s open. Josh pulls Allie into his arms and kisses her.

“Baby. Thank the Goddess you’re all okay. Are you okay?” Josh asks as he holds her tight against his chest.

“Yes, we are just fine. Just a little shaken up. Is everyone okay?”

“Yep, everything is great.” Liam says with a chuckle as he pulls her out of Josh’s arms into his. He kisses her too. Josh checks the twins and makes sure they are safe then the boys. Once he is satisfied, they are safe he wraps his arms around Allie and his brother.

“Let’s get the boys to bed.” Josh says as he kisses Allie’s neck.

Liam scoops up both the twins and Josh picks up Sebastian and Gabriel. They take them all to their room. Once the boys are situated in their room, they search their room just to make sure there is no one hiding and then lock the door on their way out.

“Where is Christian?” Liam asks.

“I don’t know. When he grabbed me, Christian wasn’t out here.” Allie says.

‘Christian?’ Josh links.

He is met with silence.

“Hopefully he is safe.” Allie says. “You don’t think he was part of this do you?”

“No, I don’t. He was always there to protect you.” Liam says as he wraps his arms around her and kisses her forehead.

“Who are we going to have watch the boys until we find him?” Allie asks.

“We have extra guards on the floor so we can all sleep. It will be okay.” Josh says in her ear.

“And I have a team looking for Christian.” Liam says as he holds her close.

“Let’s get you a bath and you’ll feel better.” Josh says as he slides his lips up her neck to her ear.

She moans as the guys walk her into their room. Josh shuts the door with his foot and locks in as they walk her into their bathroom as they have their arms wrapped around her.

They hear a weird clunking noise from the door of their playroom that has them all on edge. Josh puts Allie behind them and Liam edges closer to the door. He flings the door open to find a bloody Christian.

Allie gasps as Christian falls to the floor in a bloody heap.

‘Doctor get up to our room now. Bring help to move Christian.’ Josh links.

Liam and Josh pull Christian out to the middle of the bathroom as they try to stop the bleeding from his wounds.

“Luna. I’m so sorry. I tried…” He stops talking as his breathing stops.

“NO CHRISTIAN. WAKE UP RIGHT NOW.” Allie yells as she tries to go to him but Josh holds her back. He walks her to the door to open it for the doctor. He takes her into the hallway while the doctor works on Christian.

Some guards come up a short time later to help move Christian. Liam comes out a short time later followed by Christian on a gurney. Allie tries to run to him but Josh holds her back and Liam takes quick steps to her and wraps his arms around her.

“He’ll be okay baby.” Liam says in her ear as he runs his fingers through her hair. “He needs to go to the hospital and get some rest.”

“Let’s go lay down in the boys’ room for now baby.” Josh says.

She just nods but continues to cry. Liam goes to get a makeshift bed set up for them in the boys’ room. They all curl up together and fall right to sleep.

The next morning Allie wakes up to whimpering babies but cannot move. She is surrounded by not only Josh and Liam but Sebastian and Gabriel have snuggled in between the twins and her and are hugging her tight.

She hugs onto all of her boys as she feels content and happy with everything even though they are in the middle of chaos right now. It is a calmness that she knows everything will be okay.
