Chapter 121
Troy, Tanner, and Trevor are all waiting with Alpha Ralph and David.
“So Alpha Troy, what is your plan now?”
“I’m not sure. There isn’t really a pack to go back to.”
Liam and Josh both exchange a glance.
“Actually, Blue Forest needs a new Alpha.” Liam says.
“Really? What happened to Alpha Ryan?” Troy asks.
Both the twins smirk at him. “Allie killed him.” Josh says with a chuckle.
David steps forward, “I received word a few minutes ago that the king is there now. We should go there and talk to him.”
David, Liam, Josh, Troy, and Trevor all head off towards Blue Forest. After the 20-minute drive, they are met by the royal guards who let them in.
David introduces the group with him to the King.
“So, your Luna is the one who killed this despicable Alpha?” King Daniel asks with a smile.
“Yes, she is.” Liam and Josh say in unison.
“I’d like to meet her at some point.”
“I know she would be honored sir.” Liam says with a bow.
“Your majesty, we came with a proposal.” David says.
“Go on.” He says.
“This is Alpha Troy from Dark Moon. We wiped out the pack except for him and two other members tonight. Alpha Troy changed sides once he knew what they had been doing to our Luna. We propose that he run Blue Forest especially after it is now clean from trafficking people.” Josh says with authority.
“Interesting thought. Would you also be in agreement to this General and Alpha Liam?”
“Yes, we would.” They say in unison.
“Then by all means but be warned I will always be watching and I will have spies placed to watch.” The King says pointing towards Troy.
“Of course, your majesty.” Alpha Troy says with a bow of respect.
“Then by the powers vested in me I name you Alpha Troy of Blue Forest pack. Do you promise to protect and provide for your pack until the day that you die?”
“Yes, I do.”
With that there is a crack in the air and then thin tendrils of silver light pull from Troy and out then gold comes from the King into Troy until there is another crack and he falls to the ground panting for air.
“People of Blue Forest, I give you your Alpha. Alpha Troy.” There are some claps from around the crowd. “I know that you are scared right now but you will be well cared for.”
Troy steps forward. “I promise to be just and protect you. I promise to help you all succeed. Together we will make this a great pack again.” Then there is an eruption of cheers.
Troy goes through the swearing in with all his new pack members.
Once Troy is done, he approaches Liam, Josh, and Trevor.
“Trevor would you and your brother stay with me as my Beta and Gamma?”
“We’d be honored Alpha.” Trevor says. “I’ll just head back with the guys and get Tanner.”
“We’ll have your swearing in when you get back then.” Troy shakes everyone’s hand before he heads off to talk with some of his new pack members.
“Let’s head back then. I don’t want to leave Allie for too much longer.” Liam says.
They head off back to the truck leaving David with the King for now after letting him know that Trevor and Tanner will be back with his truck soon.
“We’re proud of you both Trevor.” Liam says as they drive back to Black Ocean.
“Thanks. That means a lot coming from you.” Trevor says. “I hope Allie will be proud of us too. Maybe one day she’ll forgive us.” He adds looking down at his hands.
“I wouldn’t worry about.” Josh says with a smirk.
They drive the rest of the way in silence. They are greeted Tanner and Alpha Ralph who are standing on the pack house steps.
“Alphas.” Tanner says.
“Tanner. Father.” They say before bowing their heads in respect.
“Tanner you and Trevor need to go to Blue Forest now. Trevor will explain everything on the way.” Liam says with a smile.
Tanner looks worried but does as Liam says.
Trevor and Tanner wave good bye as they pull away from the packhouse.
“Alphas. What’s going on at Blue Forest?” Ralph asks.
“They have a new Alpha, Beta, and Gamma.” Josh says with a smile.
“That’s great. Give them all a good restart.” Ralph says. “I’m real proud of you both. Where is your Luna?”
“She is asleep upstairs in our room.” Liam says.
“Oh okay. I must have missed her then. I was just up there but no one was up there.” Ralph says.
