Chapter 38 38
Chapter 38 38
Dom's jaw hardened when his right hand man told him that. He hung up immediately and commanded the guards to get the tech team on the line.
In a few minutes, the connections were made and everything was set. He was already making up a plan and he hoped it would work smoothly. The last thing he wanted was letting Blaze get away with this. He couldn't let his brother win.
"You are going to trace his call once I call him. Is that understood?" He said to the men.
They nodded. "Sure thing boss," one of them said. "When he answers, I want his location to be traced immediately. And I don't want you to waste time with it. If he is moving, I'm going to need a line on his men too. We have to make sure that we get everything that we can."
Meanwhile, at the other mansion, Locke turned to the guards he'd brought with him and asked them to lock the exits of the mansion and make sure that nobody left or came in.
He also commanded them to seize the phones of every guard in the building. The last thing they wanted was topping off Blaze in any way.
So until the mission was completed, the guards weren't getting out any information to Blaze whatsoever.
When that was done, he ordered them to submit their guns too. But the men groaned in disapproval. He cocked his gun and placed it on the forehead of one of the guards.
"Do you value your life or do you want to keep debating with me? Which one is it so I can blow your fucking brains out?!"
The man raised his hands in surrender and then he ripped the gun that was tucked behind his belt and nodded to his men who went around doing the same thing to the other guards.
In less than three minutes, they had over fifty guns right there on the floor. Locke had some men watch the guards, ordering them to shoot if anyone made any funny move or tried to perform monkey tricks. On the other side of town, Dom finally called Blaze.
Locke watched the line pulse until it picked up. He hadn't expected that Blaze was going to pick and that was why he'd instructed the tech team to get ready.
He'd made it clear that if Blaze didn't pick, they'd find out the location of the others by messaging his closest guards who must have the woman with them.
"Blaze," he finally said after a moment's silence. "What's going on, where are you?"
He asked. "Not your concern."
"What are you up to, you bastard? What is this about, huh?"
Blaze didn't say anything.
He just hung up on his brother, not willing to talk to him until he'd satiated the anger that was burning inside him. And he was so angry that he didn't even think his brother had already caught up to his plan to avenge Nicole's kidnapping.
Dom stared at the phone after his brother hung up, cursing under his breath for a moment before he turned to the Tech team.
"Did you get anything?" He was worried that the call hadn't lasted long enough for them to get something.
But from the looks on the face of the men, it seemed as if they were onto something, and he hoped that was the case. They soon began cracking the line.
They ran the numbers, the layered routes and unwrapped the proxies. The tracing took a bit of time, but it didn't take long before they started to discern everything. The lines revealed a spot in the east part of the town where there were docks.
There were many warehouses there too. Once they had gotten that, the men quickly got the coordinates down and provided the direction to the location.
The whole time, Dom's jaw kept clinching and releasing. He'd never felt this tense in a long time, not even when he had a gun pointed at his face.
Despite the doctors telling him that he needed to rest, he knew that if they were able to get the coordinate as soon as possible, he was going to leave for the location to face Blaze himself.
Because Blaze wasn't going to listen or care about any other person that wasn't him. To him, whatever anybody had to say when a life was hanging on the line, meant absolutely nothing.
He went after what he wanted without a care in the world. He was pulled out of his thoughts when the leader of the team intoned.
"Found it. Warehouse seven. It's located in the east docks. We've also discovered two cars at the warehouse. One of the plates is registered in Blaze Stone's name."
Dom's hand tightened on the phone but he quickly dropped it, fearing that he would crush it if he held it any tighter. He knew that he had to leave now else it would be too late.
When he'd called Blaze, he'd heard the sound of cars, so hopefully Blaze was still on his way to the warehouse, meaning that if they left soon they could get there on time. He asked the team to send the coordinates to Locke before he called.
"I have received them, Blaze is there?" Locke asked. "We think he's on his way there. But he might be there already. I need you to take as many men as possible with you. And when you get there, don't do anything stupid. Don't shoot or make any violent attempts whatsoever unless I say so. Make sure to keep me on the line. We cannot fuck this up."
Locke swallowed.
He was already feeling the weight of it. Dom put the phone in his pocket before returning to his hospital room where he grabbed a jacket and slung it over his shoulder before hurrying out of the room.
He stepped out soon and wedged himself inside the passenger seat of the car that was already waiting.
His guards were waiting too, so as soon as the door of his own car slammed shut, they followed suit. Dom feared this was about to be one bloody encounter.
