Chapter 127: SURPRISE!!! Part 2
Jaycee’s P.O.V.
“Sure, come with me.” I follow her back outside as Ace locks the door behind us. Mrs. Romano takes out a set of keys to open the door just next to the one we came out of. She opens the door and motioning for us to follow her which we do, we climb a set of stairs and at the top is another door. She unlocks that one too and the three of us enter. The entrance hallway is small but not too narrow, she opens the door on the left.
“This here is the coat closet.” She says, then closing the door. We go down three steps into a huge room, three long windows that views the city facing the front. “This is the living room, all the rooms besides the kitchen and bathroom have hardwood floors.
“How many bedrooms?” I asked her.
“Two. The master bedroom is this way.” She says as she takes a right off the living room. We enter and to my surprise it is almost as huge as the living room, it has two long windows also facing the front and with the same view as the living room windows. Mrs. Romano walks across the room to where there is double doors. “This is the walk-in closet.” She says opening the doors and Ace and I step through. Walking back out she then takes us through another door in the hallway. “This is the bathroom.” Ace and I walk in and take a look around, there is vanity sink, washer and dryer hook-ups, a toilet, on the other side of the room there is a bath tub with shower, glass doors in-closes it. We leave the bathroom and she takes us further down the hallway to another bedroom, it’s not as big as the master bedroom but it is good size. It has one long window that shows a side view of the outside. We then leave the second bedroom, and we turn right through an archway and right into the kitchen. It has of course a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, a double metal sink, an island counter with stools and an area off to the left for a kitchen table. From the kitchen you can see into the living room.
“I LOVE IT!!!” I scream out. “Why didn’t you tell me?” I asked Ace.
“Well for two reasons, one-you wanted to look at places for us together and two-with it being bought with the building it then became part of the surprise. So, what do you want to do?” He asked me.
“I want to live here and once our family gets big enough we can then fine a house to buy and rent out the apartment.” I suggested to him.
“Good, because that is exactly what I was thinking.” He says as Mrs. Romano hands me the keys, I give the other one to Ace and we head back downstairs after shutting and locking the door behind us. We go back into the store, and she gathers her things up handing me the deed.
“Thanks.” I say to her as she opens the door to leave.
“Remember when you’re ready to rent the apartment out give me a call and I can give you all the needed paperwork.” She says and walks out the door as I nod.
“We can start packing tonight and move in this weekend.” I say to Ace.
“Yeah, whatever you want to do, baby!” He says bringing me in for a passionate kiss.
“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” I asked him as I break the kiss leading him towards the back where my office is.
“Carmela and Ricardo should be here any minute now. How about later?” He asked me.
“I don’t think we will be coming back here today, you And the guys have to look at tuxedoes and us girls dresses.” I explained to him as his eyes wonder to the office and then to me. Just as I think he s going to give in when he opens his mouth the door opens and in walks Carmella and my brother.
“Hey! I LOVE THE PLACE!!! JAYCEE YOU DESIGNED THIS?” Carmell yells.
“YUP!!!” I yell back.
“I heard that we’re slitting up today. Who will be with the girls?” Ace asked Ricardo as I show Carmella around and tell her about the apartment that we will be living in upstairs from here.
“I was thinking Carlos and Viper can go with the girls, there is no one at home, so no one is needed there until later.” Ricardo explains to Ace.
“So, we’re waiting on them to get here?” He asked.
“Yes.” Ricardo says also taking a look around while we wait. I show the two of them both of mine and Ace’s workstations and explain that he other cubicles are for when she hires employees.
“I think Brenda Sue and Shirley would be perfect, there right now looking for work.” Carmella says as the door opens and in walks Carlos and Viper.
“I don’t have enough in the budget, but when I do I will consider them.” I say.
“Ready to go?” Carlos asked us.
“Yes, we’ll be taking my car.” Carmella says as the two of us follow them out.
“No! we will be taking mine!” Carlos says firmly. Carmella looks over at Ricardo, which just gives her a nod, which is his way of saying there is no room for an arguing. So, we walk out and I lock the door behind us, then I check to make sure that the door to the upstairs apartment is locked. Then I head over to Carlo’s car.
“We will be taking mine.” Ricardo informs Ace as they walk to his car. Carmella opens the back passenger door and gestures to me to go in first, she then follows after shutting the door and Carlos starts the engine he asked me.
“Where to?”
