402- My rothers

402- My rothers
POV Viktor Averwyn:

My eyes left Lucian and his aggressive, large pack, concern making me seek out my brothers, to know if they were in the crosshairs.

What I saw gave me another warning. Aldren and Edric, with their wolves, had not moved. They remained in the same place, motionless.

"Two..."

My heart stopped and then accelerated. In the midst of chaos, disappointment, and wrath, I understood that they had not betrayed me. They were not fighting against me.

"Only hit Lucian's pack!" I shouted. "Not Aldren's or Edric's!"

Cezar growled, understanding as well. But that alerted the damned alpha. Too late, he realized that the other two were lagging behind. The mere fact that they did nothing gave me the advantage I needed. However, it went beyond that.

Surprise caught everyone off guard. My brothers attacked from the sides and from behind, closing the encirclement on Tharengard and its filthy packs. It wasn't me who fell into a trap, surrounded on all sides. It was them.

I growled violently, exploding for having the support of both, refocusing on my enemy.

To my hatred, when he noticed that he would clash with me without the protection of the other two powerful ones, Lucian stopped, letting his wolves advance alone, disappearing from my sight.

I screamed in fury. Cezar shouted:

"One!"

Shots were fired consecutively, without us stopping our run. Wolves fell hit in chests and heads, those behind also falling, with no chance.

From the sides, the wolves of Edric and Aldren destroyed those of Lucian and Konrad, as well as the strangers.

I jumped into their midst, shattering throats and chests with my claws, spraying blood everywhere. Nothing made me retreat, I stepped over the convulsing bodies, hit by silver. My strong wolves also flying into hand-to-hand combat, my brothers transformed like me. Fighting against our enemies. With me.

I searched for Lucian amid the general commotion and saw him lost, not knowing where to go, in the middle of the maelstrom that was being massacred. Then he turned, his eyes meeting mine as I burst through flesh along the way, focused on him. Like a destroying machine.

There was nowhere to flee, and he understood. He prepared for the fight, but shouting to his wolves:

"Protect me!"

No one did. They were too busy fighting, being attacked.

I shouted louder than I ever had in my life, at the moment when explosions happened far behind where we were, catching me by surprise. I couldn't figure out what it was, although I knew we had explosives.

It quickly crossed my mind that some of my people, who had stayed in the village, had decided to come help, but I couldn't think much about it. I was already getting close to Lucian, while shouts and explosions continued.

The wretched alpha bared his teeth and came. He was my height, as muscular as me, but he would be no match for me. He showed himself to be a coward when he wasn't relying on my brothers or his allies.

I leaped, with my claws at their maximum extension, ready. I brought them down at the moment he raised his. He had no chance when I sank them into the sides of his ribs and pulled brutally, ripping flesh, exposing bone. He screamed, scratching my arms, drawing blood.

I felt nothing, kicking his face, my nails grabbing handfuls of his long hair and ripping it out along with the scalp and skin from one side of his face.

I kicked his stomach, and he flew backward, falling among other dead and dying wolves. His look at me was one of terror as I jumped in front of him. He rose unsteadily, blood and flesh hanging from his ribs, slow to heal due to the violence of the injury.

"You like killing babies and women, you son of a bitch?" I growled, and he raised his claws, showing his fangs in grunts.

"Get away from me!"

"Only after I finish you!"

A wolf jumped onto my back. I thrust my claws backward, sinking them into his nape, pulling him off me and sending him far away as he whimpered like a stray dog. Lucian took the opportunity to turn his back and run.

I slashed his back from one side and then the other, with two violent swipes. More flesh opened, blood ran down with his screams of agony.

Around us, more deaths, fights, shouts. Behind us, more explosions. And I barely paid attention, my rage fixed only on that miserable wretch who fell to his knees.

It would be easy to reach his neck, rip off his head. But I wanted more. So I kicked him in the middle of the wounds on his back, and he fell, rolling over himself, staring at me with a fear that begged for mercy.

He dragged himself backward, but I jumped and gave an aggressive stomp on his private parts, crushing his member and balls, while he yelped in pain, thrashing his claws and slashing my legs. I kicked him again in the same place, and he writhed.

I pinned him there with my foot, leaning forward and sinking my claws from his shoulders down to his forearms. Muscles detached from the bone, hanging, his screams everywhere. I pulled, with skins hanging from my nails. I attacked his shoulders again, more deeply.
