The walls were closing in on me. A sob broke out as the air around me seemed to be disappearing by the moment.

“you really did not think you would get your happy ever after while i did not get mine, did you?” a voice said inside my head. “or the fact that you were not willing to pay up after making a deal with me” the voices were followed by harsh laughter.

I did not seem to be the only one in my head’ i thought, looking at the door with fear inside my body.

I stood up, from where i had fallen down on the floor, looking at the door. There was no way i would let this go. I stood up, preparing to use my full body to break down the door when the door opened, revealing Susan, the maid.

She looked me from head to toe, as though she was giving me a look of pity, before she left, leaving the door open.

I ignored her, running straight for the door, scared that she was going to pull me back or something. It was a surprise when i saw that she did not mind. t

The room seemed empty as the doctor was no longer there, all that was left was a beeping machine. I felt my legs grow weak as i stood there, i did not know if i could move forward. Feeling like it was going to be disrespectful to take steps towards his well,… dead self, plus i do not think i was mentally prepared to see him.

Not like that at least.

“how much longer do i have to wait for you to come into my arms? Or do i have to come get you?” what sounded like his voice came from behind, shocking me to my core.

I stood frozen, not knowing what to do.

I swear i heard it, ‘they said he was dead’ i thought, looking at the bed thatwas empty. I took one step back, ready to bolt when the chair at the desk turned, revealing a very weak looking Andrew. His usual smirk was very well rested on his face even though he looked pale and his eyes….

“Andrew” i called in a soft voice, still contemplating if it was my mind that was playing tricks on me, or if it was really real.

“yes baby girl?” he said, in this tone that made me understand, this was him. He was not a figment of my imagination, he was not a part of my mind playing tricks on me, he was real.

A sob escaped my lips as i took a few steps to reach him. I could not get to him fast enough. If felt as though being without him was like not breathing properly.

“you stupid idiot” i yelled as i gave him a bone crushing hug, hiding my tears on his shoulders.

“hi love” he said, returning th hug i gave him.

“don’t you dare say that!!!” i said, shoving him to the side so that i could create space between us. “i thought you died!! i fucking watched you get pale and then your breathing!!!” i said, looking at him from head to toe, still not believing that he was here, alive and recovering.

“well” he said, pulling me to him so that there was again, no space between the two of us. “how can i leave this realm peacefully knowing that i left you on the edge? And how would i leave this realm peacefully when i am yet to see that beautiful face you make when i get you to orgasm?” he said with this glee in his eyes.

I scoffed, getting up from him so that i did not cause him to pass out.

“i would be leaving to go start my training, i mean if you are able to joke, then you are very well okay” i said, making my way out of the clinic before i did anything like give him any more ideas of how worried i was and before he makes it sexual, like he always does.

“the coach for the tournament would be coming to take you to the academy for training.” he said from behind me, stopping me.

“i don’t think you remember but i can assure you that neither the head master or any other person would want to see me, you know… with the expulsion and everything.” i said, rolling my eyes to hide the pain i felt remembering that.

“it has been settled, just for the period of the tournament.” i nodded, still not seeing his face as my back was still turned to him.

“oh” i said, a little bit of happiness flowing through me. “thank you, i would not mess this up ans…”

“again” he cut me off “i only want you to have fun, there is nothing for me to gain if you win or loose” he said, and for some reason, i could feel his smile as he spoke.

“fine, i would have fun when i whoop their asses and hand it to them, or use their teeth to spell my name on rock” i said, turning to him with excitement. The look on his face showed that he was staring into a distance with something on his mind.

“oof course” he said, forcing his gaze back to e when he saw that i was quiet all of a sudden. “it would not be you if you did not wipe their ass through the mud” he said.

I chewed my lips, not wanting to point out what he just did.

“of course” i smiled. “hey” i said, after standing in front of him for a few seconds “you are good right?” he looked like he was contemplating whether or not.

“actually, i was thinking.. you have great potential, especially after being trained by master sorenson and his partner, w-” he took in a deep breath “would you like to go to the shadow realm academy to train for the position of top warrior?”
