Chapter 34 - Reinforcements

**Hailey's P.O.V.**

We get all of our new pack members settled as soon as we return to Blue Moon. Everyone is so thankful that we not only killed Sheldon and his followers but allowed them to join our pack. Once everyone is in their new homes, we go to the dining hall to eat dinner. I see Craig walk in and look around with uncertainty. I know there will be some who blame him, but I don't. He was forced to do something that he didn't want to do. I wave him over, and he looks relieved.

"You can sit here with us," I tell him. He takes the seat next to me.

"Thank you, luna." He says before looking down nervously.

"Are you okay?" I ask him as Natalie, Brent, Stephanie, Ellis, Kerri, and Tony join us. The table only seats eight, but we make it work. Kerri looks more than happy to be sitting on Tony's lap.

"I don't know what to say. I keep waiting for something bad to happen. I know Sheldon is dead, but I've lived my entire life in fear. It's not easy to overcome." He says quietly. I put my hand on his shoulder.

"I understand. No one expects everything you've been through to go away just because he's dead. It's going to take time, and that's okay. Take as much time as you need. Right now, you and the others from Devil's Moon need time to heal, and we're here to help you." I smile at him, and he nods with just a touch of a smile on his lips.

"Thank you, luna." I turn to Dante, and he kisses my forehead.

*"You know you're the perfect luna, right? You're kind and caring. Everyone in the pack loves you, and the new pack members love you."* I lean on his shoulder and smile.

*"I'm only a good luna because I'm mated to the best alpha. We make a pretty good team. After dinner, I think we need to go ahead and call the king and queen. Just to let them know what's going on. I have a feeling that just because Sheldon is dead, it's not going to stop everyone. I'm expecting people even worse than him. I also want to talk to Brandie again to see if there's anything she can tell us about who sent her here."* I mindlink him back as our food comes. There's very little chatter around the dining hall. I'm sure everyone is just as exhausted as we are. Hopefully, we will have a little break before the next evil ones descend on us.

*"I agree. We'll call them after dinner. The more people you and your sisters defeat, the more people will be aware of what you are. That will give them time to prepare, so if the king and queen have any reinforcements, I won't turn them away."* I nod and start eating. I wonder about the king and queen. Maybe one day I'll get to meet them.

**Queen Zoe's P.O.V.**

Ryder and I are in the office after dinner, handling a few palace issues. After the last battle, everything has settled down, and we've been able to return to our normal duties. When we get a call, Ryder picks up the phone and puts it on speaker.

"Hello." He answers.

"King Ryder, this is Dante, the alpha from Blue Moon. I'm here with my mate Hailey." I'm surprised to hear from Dante. We reached out to him after his parents were killed but haven't heard anything since.

"It's nice to hear from you, Dante, and hello, Hailey. I have Zoe here with me. You don't need to call me king. What can we do for you?" Ryder asks as I sit on his lap. It's the best seat in the palace.

"I'm going to give you a quick rundown of what's going on." I'm stunned as I listen to Dante tell us about Hailey and her sisters being Selene's daughters and everything they've been going through in such a short time. We thought we had to deal with a lot with Cressida, but this is on a whole other level. We've heard about the keeper of the legends, but we thought, as others did, that she was human. No one could have imagined she'd be one of Selene's daughters. I don't like this young couple tackling this on their own. I know the sisters are goddesses and have some powers, but I think they could use help.

"I'm glad you called. Would it be okay if we sent down a few people to see if they can assist? I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but I don't think it would hurt." I ask into the phone. Ryder smiles. He knows what I'm thinking. We're calm here right now, so we can send them our best and their tag-alongs that never leave their sides.

"That would be great queen. We'll take all the help we can get." Hailey says. She sounds relieved.

"Please call me Zoe, and they'll be there tomorrow. Let us know if you need anything else, and after this is over, we would love for you to come and visit." I tell them honestly. We love having visitors from the packs and getting to know them.

"Thank you. We'd like that as well. Take care." Dante says before disconnecting. Ryder turns to me.

"You want to send Wyatt and Jessi, don't you?" He asks me. I nod. Their pup is only a couple of months old, but I know they'll have help going with them to care for her.

"I want to send them and Davina, Jock, Trevor and Rmina. They make a great team." I answer. Ryder chuckles.

"Yes, they do, and I think you want to give Davina new targets for her songs." I laugh with him. Maybe I do. She's started singing them about me and Ryder. As much as I love the fairy, sometimes I want to slap her and hug her at the same time.

"We'll just call it an added bonus. I'll mindlink them to come here."

"Can you all come to our office please. We have something we'd like to discuss with you." They all respond and are in the office in a matter of seconds due to Jessi's teleporting abilities. That's something I'm still not used to. She has little Camilla in her arms, and I snatch her away immediately. She looks like a miniature Jessi with her dark brown eyes and dark brown hair.

"What can we do for you?" Wyatt asks. I let Ryder tell them while I cuddle my grandpup. I'm not technically her grandmother, but I still claim to be.

"The alpha and luna of the Blue Moon pack are in trouble." He quickly explains everything Dante told us, and they all look at us in concern. Jessi is the only one with fire in her eyes. My girl always loves a challenge.

"Selene's daughters are there? Are they just as annoying as she is, or are they tolerable?" Jessi asks. She and Selene have had their ups and downs. I think Selene is even a little scared of her.

"Hailey sounded nice over the phone. Are you willing to help out?" I ask while kissing Camilla's cheek, making her giggle.

"Of course we are." Jessi turns to the others, who all nod. Davina giggles and twirls.

"Yay, a road trip. Think of all the songs I can come up with at the pack, especially with Selene's daughters. I have a new song. Do you want to hear it?" She asks excitedly.

"NO." Everyone says at once. Like always, she ignores us and starts singing.

*"Spin on a dick; it will make you sick. Spin on a dick; it will make you sick. Just ask Jessi and the queen. Rmina doesn't know how to spin. Rmina doesn't know how to spin. That's why Trevor's never happy."* I think everyone is going to kill her.

"You do realize we have a pup in here, right?" Jessi asks her while Wyatt holds her back.

"Camilla doesn't understand what I'm singing. Trust me, I've tried to get her to sing with me." As they start arguing, I'm laughing. Yeah, Davina needs new people to sing about. I hope you're ready for her Blue Moon.
