Chapter 33 - Healing Power

**Hailey's P.O.V.**

I watch in horror as I prepare to make Sheldon's wolf float and see a brown wolf jump between us. The large black wolf bites off a chunk of the brown wolf's side. I look up and see Thor bite Sheldon's wolf, so I focus on the one who tried to save me. I drop to my knees, and he shifts so I can see it's Craig. He's still alive, but barely. There's a significant chunk missing from his side. I roll him over onto his back as my sisters join me.

"We have to save him. He tried to protect me." I tell them. They both kneel beside him, and we all place our hands on him. I can feel my healing energy seep into his body to help his wolf. When his wolf is stronger, he begins healing the wound. I don't pay attention to anything else around us. All my focus is on Craig and saving him. When I see the hole getting smaller and smaller, I know it's working. After several minutes, the hole is completely closed. My sisters and I sit back and wait. Craig begins moaning, and then his eyes open. I sigh in relief.

"How am I still alive?" He asks with a raspy voice.

"My sisters and I healed you. Thank you for trying to save me, but don't do that again. You could have died." Craig sits up and looks around as Natalie hands him his clothes. After standing, he puts them on and turns to me.

"A part of me wanted to die. I have nothing to live for anymore. Sheldon is responsible for the deaths of both my daughter and my mate. You should have let me die." I put my hand on his shoulder and shake my head.

"You have a lot to live for. You don't know what fate has in store for you. You may get a second chance to have a mate and a family. Don't give up on your future." I tell him. When he meets my eyes, I see tears in his.

"I'll try not to. I owe you that for letting me stay here and saving my life, but I don't believe there's someone else out there for me. I have hurt too many people to be forgiven." I stop him before he can finish.

"You didn't hurt anyone. You did what Sheldon told you to, and if you hadn't, you'd be dead. Now, come on. I'll have someone show you to your room." He looks at me in shock as I lead him to the packhouse.

"You're letting me stay in the packhouse?" He asks in disbelief. I can tell the poor guy hasn't been shown any kindness in a long time. I wave at one of the women who works in the house.

"Can you show him to a room please?" I ask her with a smile. She smiles back.

"Of course, luna. Follow me, sir." She says, leading him inside. I turn around and see everyone staring at me. Why do people always look at me like I have two heads? "Okay, why are you staring at me like that?"

"For starters, you and your sisters just healed a man who was almost dead," Dante says, putting his arm around my shoulders. He's got me there. We did do that.

"Mom said we have healing powers. I didn't know if it would work, but I had to try." I look out at the men from Devil's Moon, who look a little lost. "How about we get the rest of the people from Devil's Moon. We have room for everyone here, right?"

"Yes, we do. You heard the luna; let's go." Dante says before leaning down to kiss me. I giggle when he slides his tongue into my mouth.

"Come on, alpha, let's give some people a better life." A few of our men stay behind to burn the bodies of Sheldon and the men who fought with him. The rest of us load into a caravan of vehicles and drive to Devil's Moon. When we arrive, I don't see anyone.

"They're probably hiding. No one wants to be outside when Sheldon returns." Brent says when he notices we're all looking around in confusion. The place seems depressing. When we get out, I see people peeking out the windows.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Hailey, and I'm the luna from Blue Moon. It's safe to come out now. We've defeated your alpha and want to offer you a safe place to call home." More people look out, and I wave to them and smile. Some slowly start coming outside.

"How do we know it's not a trick? Maybe you're worse than Sheldon." One woman says. She's shaking and looking around nervously. I walk over and gently touch her shoulder.

"We wouldn't trick you. Ask them." I point to all the men from Devil's Moon who we brought with us. They come over to stand next to me.

"It's true. They said we could join their pack." One man says. The woman throws her arms around me and begins crying.

"Oh, thank you. Sheldon killed one of my daughters, and my other is fifteen. I was so scared he was going to get her too." I hug her back and see people slowly start coming outside. The men run to their families and tell them what's happening. People come up and thank all of us before going to pack their things. Dante puts his arm around me as we watch them.

"Do you know how many people have come up to me to congratulate me on my incredible luna? I'm starting to think they're going to call King Ryder and Queen Zoe to tell them you need to be in power." I turn to him and smile.

"Who wants to be royalty? I think I have the best alpha and mate in the world." I wonder about the king and queen. Do they know what's going on with us right now? Maybe it wouldn't hurt to reach out to them.

"You don't need to be a royal. You're already a goddess." I laugh as he kisses me.

"Speaking of the king and queen, do you think we should let them know what's going on?" I ask Dante as we walk around the pack to see if we can help anyone.

"It might be a good idea. They just had a battle of their own not long ago. I've never met them in person, but they called when my parents were killed and said to let them know if I needed anything. I've heard they also have the first female royal warrior who's even better than the men." I smile as we walk. I like them already.

Once everyone has everything packed and ready to go, we head out to Blue Moon. A few men stay back to burn what's left of Devil's Moon to the ground. No need to remember the terror Sheldon caused people. It's also a warning to other packs who come for us. We won't go down without a fight.

**Therion's P.O.V.**

I am the largest of the Triad and look like a monster. It's hard for me to hide when I come to Earth, but with the evil surrounding the Devil's Moon pack, I can watch without being seen. I see Hailey and Dante helping the pack members leave. They have defeated Sheldon and have added to their pack numbers. This is concerning. There should be at least some battle scars. However, the daughters of Selene appear stronger than we imagined.

As they burn all the buildings of Devil's Moon, I watch the vehicles leave. Maybe others will be more successful. We need them to be weakened when we take them. The Darkness wants all three, and I'm too scared of her to argue. Once the dust settles and the fire is out, I leave and return to our realm. Soon, we will rule Earth, and no one will stop us. Releasing those legends was like releasing the gates of hell.
