Kid
Lucifer ordered me a huge breakfast with tea, coffee, juice and a soda, making sure I get enough fluids in me, he also ordered pancakes and fruit for the sugar. I don’t feel like he almost drained me last night I felt so good. I slept well and I had something to look forward to; I have a parent in my life and Lucifer wants to buy us a house. I stood with him and looked at Central Park while drinking my coffee. “Love I need to talk to you about something.” “What it sounds serious?” “It’s not serious but Angel and I talked last night and I think I’m going to let Niki go.” “Oh” I knew he talked about it but I didn’t thought he would actually do it. “What does Angel think?” “He actually told me it’s a good idea especially if your dad is going to stay with us to. We don’t need him then.” “Okay I’m good with-it Lucifer.” “You sure.” “You got them I didn’t want security.” “That is true.” There was a knock at the door and Angel opened the door bringing me my food. He put it in front of the floor to ceiling window giving me a beautiful view while I was eating. “Jeez Lucifer who is going to eat all these foods.” “Eat what you can but I will suggest lots of fluids and off course sugar so the fruit and the pancakes is a good idea.” “Okay.” I sat there eating my pancakes and fruit and some bacon I drank the coffee and the tea and when I got up Lucifer gave me the diet soda. “Take it with you to the bathroom, drink it while you get ready.” “I’m full Lucifer” “Just drink it please Kid.” I took the soda kissed him and walked to the bathroom to get ready. Today is the beginning of a new chapter in my life so I was very excited.

While Kid was getting ready, I called Heath. “Lucifer?” He answered his phone “Hi Heath. How are you?” “I don’t know you tell me?” “Can we meet for an early lunch say at Empire Steak House?” “Yes, off course what time were you thinking?” “Let’s make it 12.” “Okay I’ll be there.” I was thinking to myself if I should tell him now or should I wait for him to ask me. I decided to chicken out and let him rather ask me maybe he won’t even notice. I was getting ready while Kid was doing her make up. “We are getting Heath at 12.” “Great is their time to do shopping?” “Where do you want to go?” “Macy’s, I see there is a very big one in Times Square” “Off course when you are done, we can go to Macy’s no problem.” I walked to her and gave her a kiss on the head. “Thanks Lucifer.” “My pleasure love.” I got dressed in jeans and a black t-shirt with a black jacket and black sneakers. As I was looking down at the sneakers, I realized how many fashions I’ve seen in my life I mean in the 1900’s there wasn’t such things as sneakers, I must admit I loved the era where we always had to dress up for every single occasion now dressing up can be a jean and sneakers to.
“Why are you smiling?” Kid asked me. “I was just thinking about the 1900’s.” “Oh, and that made you smile?” She asked also smiling. “I was thinking how different the fashion was.” “Oh, I can only imagine the women with their corsets and big dresses.” I took her hand and twirled her in a dance. “You would have looked fantastic in one of those dresses.” “Maybe I’ll dress up for you some time.” Kid looked so happy and healthy it didn’t look like I almost drained her last night, she did her make up so perfectly that you couldn’t even see she was a little pale, she grabbed a scarf and let me make a knot before she grabbed her jacket. “I’m ready.” “Well, me to. Let’s go.”
We got Angel and Niki at the door they were waiting for us. “Morning Niki.” Kid and I greeted him because we haven’t seen him at all this morning. “Morning.” He said, he sounded a bit irritated, I looked at Angel but he just lifted his shoulders telling me he had no idea what was going on with Niki. We all took the lift together, but Niki didn’t look at us nor did he say anything. Angel was asking Kid if she was ready for the next chapter in her life and she was so excited to tell him she couldn’t wait. Poor Heath didn’t know yet what she was going to say so he was stressing. I could have told him but she needed to tell him it wasn’t something for me to do.
When we got in the SUV, I told Angel Kid wanted to go to Macy’s. We drove in silence to Macy’s in Times Square; Kid was looking out the window smiling she was so happy which made me happy. It took us a long time to get where we are now for her to smile without worrying when the next shoe will drop, I mean everything is sorted, Gabriel is something of the past the two of us are engaged and I promised her at least one child. And today she gains a father something she never really had. Angel stopped right in front of the Macy’s I jumped out and helped Kid out of the SUV, I took her hand and walked into the largest Macy’s I’ve ever been in. “This is huge.” Kid said. “It is, what are you looking for?” “I’m not sure.” “Let’s go to the women’s department.” We got in the lift which took us straight to the women’s department. “Goodness I wouldn’t know what to choose.” “Is there a special occasion I don’t know off or is it just casual wear?” I asked her. “You bought me so many pants suits and dresses that is for office use I just wanted to look for some T-shirts and some jeans, casual stuff you know.” “Okay but then it’s easy.” “You might think so but I’m overwhelmed.” Kid said looking everywhere but at me. “No man take my hand I’ll show you how to shop.”
