Chapter 36 Changed.
I had a nice dream last night, and the moment I woke up this morning, my body was tingling in all the right places. I felt free, happy like I was floating in clouds.
I remembered Domenic and how he had ravished me last night. He literally showed me heaven on earth and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I had expected Domenic to be dominant and commanding in bed, but I never expected him to be so commanding. He handled me exactly the way I wanted him to, the way I've always wanted to be handled. Jason was never dominant in bed, he only wants to get it done to pleasure himself. He doesn't really care if I cummed or not.
But Domenic was so attentive and extremely good in bed. I bet I'm so lucky to even be considered by him. I feel so satisfied about my achievement and I no longer regret kissing Lysander to get Domenic worked up.
If I haven't done that, I bet last night would never have happened. I never would have experienced something so amazing or have an orgasm that good. Even thinking about him right now makes me wet.
Fuck! Domenic Darkshadow has completely ruined me. I don't think I can ever be satisfied by another man. In all honesty, I don't even want any other man. I only want that arrogant bullheaded vampire prince; Domenic Darkshadow.
I reached towards the other side of the bed hoping to find Domenic still laying beside me, but the bed space was cold and empty. I opened my eyes and saw that Domenic was really not beside me.
A pang of hurt rushed through my body and I sat up sadly. Was he so repulsed that he couldn't stay until I woke up? Was he really pressured into having sex with me?
Tears welled up in my eyes but I didn't get the chance to shed them because Domenic walked in from the bathroom with nothing but a towel around his waist while he rubbed his wet hair with another towel.
He raised a brow when he saw me. "You're awake. I thought you were going to sleep for all eternity."
I gulped trying to ignore the wave of relief that threatened to drown me. I felt so happy that he stayed the night. I tried not to smile and instead said. "What time is it?"
"Its past breakfast." He answered as he picked up his cloth that were folded on my dresser table. When did he get the time to clean them up and fold them? He must have woken up earlier. I noticed that my clothes were folded beside his and my heart fluttered at the sweet gesture.
I watched as Domenic put on his clothes enjoying the way his muscles flexed slightly at the movement. He looks so deliciously sexy that I was almost tempted to throw myself at him again, but I held back with all my might and just admired him from afar.
"Should I get ready for breakfast, or wait for Sarah to come help me out?" I spoke quickly so he wouldn't notice that I was admiring how hot he was. It's literally difficult to get my eyes off him. I've gotten so used to Sarah helping me with my bath that asking him that felt natural.
Domenic threw a smirk at me. "Just take a bath yourself and relax in your room kitty. Sarah is quite busy with her chores, and I doubt you can be able to walk to the dinning hall anyway."
I blushed madly at his words. He was however right. I do feel kind of sore between my legs. He really proved his point last night.
Domenic finished dressing up and walked towards me with a small smile on his face. It made my heart beat faster as he came closer.
He sat on the edge of the bed beside me staring right into my eyes with a smile. I could sense something in the air has changed about Domenic. Why does he look different? A good difference though. A very good difference.
He lifted his hands and brushed my raven hair out of my face. "If not because I have some urgent matter to attend to right now, I would have taken you again this morning, but I can always come back."
I was blushing madly but his words made me ache terribly between my legs. I wanted him again and I know if he decides to have me, I would gladly give in to him.
He chuckled. "You're so cute when you blush Kitty." He leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss right there on my lips causing my heart to pound widely like a hammer. What has happened to Domenic Darkshadow over night? Who is this sweet man seated here acting all lovey dovey with me?
He pulled away and watched me with warm green eyes filled with longing. "I have to leave now Kate," his tone suggested that he doesn't want to leave anytime soon but he had no choice. He continued, "I will send Lysander to bring you breakfast and to keep you company." He gave me a pointed look, "but no messing with him or trying to kiss him, because if you test me again, you might not be able to walk for a week."
His hard tone and the dark look in his eyes made my core tingled for him. He knew the right words to say to get me wanting more from him.
He kissed me again this time longer and a bit passionately stirring feelings within me that I didn't think existed.
He pulled away and smiled into my eyes. "I'll leave now. Behave." He warned and left me to myself.
I watched the space he just vacated from still in disbelief about what just happened. This is so different from the arrogant vampire prince who refused to admit his feelings. God, I felt like I have achieved the greatest thing ever.
I couldn't help squealing and flinging my arm around in happiness and excitement. Domenic has finally accepted that he cares about me. He even told me yesterday while we were in bed, and I couldn't deny that I liked him as well. I did the moment I set my eyes on him in that forest.
The memory seems so far away now, but I'm happy to have met Domenic. I'm happy to have ended up being someone he cares about. Quinn would probably die of envy when she finds out, and Jason can eat his own shit for all I care.
I took my bath happily and cheerfully, ignoring the sourness between my legs and humming one of my favorite songs as I went about my morning. Nothing could stop my happiness today.
After getting dressed in last night clothes which Domenic apparently cleaned up for me, I settled on my bed and waited for breakfast. Shortly after as promised, Lysander walked in with a tray of food.
I smiled when I saw him. "Good morning Lysander." I greeted cheerfully.
He stopped for a second and stared at me with surprise. When our eyes met, he blushed and looked away. I frowned in confusion. I have no idea vampires had the ability to blush.
"Good morning Kate." He avoided looking me in the eyes and placed the tray of food on the bedside table beside me still keeping his eyes away. "The prince asked me to bring you breakfast and to keep you company." He took a huge step away from me and stood at a distance.
I felt a bit startled. "Are you okay Lysander? Why does it feel like you're uncomfortable being in the same room with me?"
He raked a hand through his long black hair and looked at me with his terrifying red eyes. But his eyes were filled with uncertainty and discomfort. "K... Kate, about that kiss..." He gulped and I watched him trying not to fidget. "It doesn't mean anything right? You don't like me or anything right?"
I couldn't help giggling at his cute nervousness. Is that really what's getting him all worked up? "No Lysander. I only did that because I wanted to make Domenic jealous and admit his feelings for me. I'm sorry if it made you uncomfortable."
His eyes shinned with hope, "really?! You don't have feelings for me?"
I shook my head, "no Lysander." I pouted at him. "But would it be so bad if I like you? Don't you find me attractive?" I teased the poor vampire.
He blinked as he tried to control his blush. "N_No Kate, that's not what I mean. It's just that..." He licked his lips nervously. "Everyone knows the prince is infatuated with you. I don't want to get on his bad side."
I grinned to assure him. "Don't worry Lysander, you're safe. Domenic isn't going to hurt you. He understands that it wasn't your fault. It was mine."
He sighed looking tremendously relieved. "That makes me feel better, but next time can you warn me before doing something like that?"
"I'm sorry," I apologized again with a laugh. I then picked up my food and dug in. I'm kind of very hungry from last night action, and the food is super delicious.
"So," I began. "Did you get some action last night?"
Lysander frowned looking confused. "Action?"
I wriggled my brows at him. "I mean, did you relieve your needs?"
His eyes widened when he understood the meaning of my words. His cheeks turned scarlet again. He sure loves to blush alot. "Y_yeah I did. T_Thanks for asking."
I chuckled with a shake of my head knowing he was too embarrassed by the topic so I dropped it. I wanted to ask him why he decided to abstain from sex. Don't vampires love sex and blood alot?
Half way through my meal, Lysander spoke. "Kate, I know something fun we can do today?"
I raised a brow at him chewing my food slowly. "What's that?"
He grinned, "would you like to read some books?"
